Bro, love the content. Can I ask what do you use to study the game? Or is it mostly coaching? Combo of both? I’m just amazed at how good of a player you are in such a short period of time. Stuff that took me years to figure out. But I’m always looking for ways to improve as well. Any insight...you know besides your vlog (LOL)...would be appreciated!

I think he addressed this in a Q & A in an earlier vlog. He mentioned he uses solvers and discusses hands with other players. I also think he mentioned studying some of the free content from some training sites as well.
@Jurgen Pirgu not based on what I think he uses. Based on what I remember he said in a previous video. He addressed in his most recent video and now apparently uses "Crush Live Poker"

Especially in low stakes, I think you're giving too much credit to players to understand how position and ranges work together.
Probably true but in LA I could imagine a lot of grinder regs who actually knows their shit even at lower stakes

definitely!! the only scare cards would be a four or a five on the turn, if the opponent would happen to have a set of sixes or threes, thats just unfortunate, but you cant be scared of that, if you wanna make some dough by the end.

I was in a similar spot in a $2/$5 game.. I had 6/6 and flopped top set on 6/3/2.. I slow played the flop and the turn came the 4 and I got stacked by A5.. sometimes you got to raise these spots

If you are ever in the northern Pennsylvania region we have a couple good rooms. Erie and Pittsburgh have good tourneys and fair cash games
The first hand i am unsure about raising the turn if you have the nuts. Realistically if your opponent leads out with on this board they rep a flush. And with Ace h you can call to jam river. I personally would call on any turn bet to merge my draws with my nut hands. That way my river bets can be more tricky with sizing

For the set hand, I dont mind the raise heads up. But in a multinway pot i prefer a call to gain extra value from secondary caller if possible. Though my bias comes from split pot games
Bottom set with a straighty/flushy flop for sure makes for some difficult decisions. Loved the analysis.
I play @ the Encore Boston Harbor quite a bit. It’s a well designed room with plenty of space and games spread. The equipment is good quality and the action is definitely nice. A good mixture of good and bad players. Worst thing I can say about it is some of the dealers are obviously new and the dining options could be better.
On the set of deuces hand I actually like the donk lead. 90% of the time that lead is A6, 65 or 64 wanting to know if the initial raiser has a big pair that will raise or AK/AQ that will almost always call. Getting raised makes their hand face up and they would never expect a set if you just called their raise. You did win though, those 2 outers do come to bite you every now and then when you slowplay.
Mariano great vlog as always. A-10 hard to bluff a donk and your set of 2's you HAVE to check especially in aggressive tables. BTW I did exactly what you did with a set of 2s and everyone folded and then got a set of 2s against the same player a week later, checked and he tried to bluff me.
I would honestly try to eliminate these vast assumptions of the way “low stakes” players play. It is a hindrance to your own play, i.e, the 22 hand. Take each street as it comes vs your specific opponent.
Repeat after me “set of 2” NL Holdem is a trapping game ch call ck call check the river “Like a fu*king boss “ and jam... bro they always call bc “ I’m pot committed🚬” love the vlog people just can’t believe they are beat want want to see they always call don’t raise flops ever ever ever ever.... when you do good players should have alarm bells going off now in limit poker ch raise flops with 2 pair or better to build pots...

Mariano, just curious why you showed him your bluff @10:26 when you lost? I've shown mine, usually when I bluff someone successfully and want to tilt them. I didn't quite understand how anything good comes out of showing yours at that time. Just curious. I love your vlogs and learn a lot from them.

I'm a complete fish, but I would only be 3-betting bottom set on THAT board (especially from the small blind in a single-raised multi-way pot) if we're 300bb+ deep. I think the absolute basement of your 3-bet range here is exactly bottom set given the preflop action
Very cool video, and your editing is well presented with sooooooooo fun hand cards. In one of your presentations your drone crashed, and that will be missed till you receive your new drone. My take, you’re correct in assuming they should have better holdings pre flop, the issue here is these are not the normal solid players. I feel many of them are there just for the drawings on that particular day. Just a thought. Probably not the field you would have on almost any other day.

I almost went to Lake Elsinore on Friday. I live in The Inland Empire and it's just a short ride over there. I talk myself out of going each time because I just don't have the guts to sit down at one of these tables. Maybe one day...….

I don't hate the reraise with the set of 2s. I think it's better than peeling another card. With another player in the hand, you could be up against something rather big. I agree, don't slowplay, get it done. Not a bad pot for bottom set.

On the hand where you flopped the set of 2's I don't mind the lead. You got exactly what you wanted in being raised by the pre flop raiser. I would of flat called her raise because it seems like the game is playing pretty deep. Most good players aren't going to lose 200bb on a one pair hand. You're 3bet screams strength, 2 pair or better or slow played A's pre. If you flat her raise and she puts in a good sized bet on the turn you'll not only got more money in the pot but she'll have committed more of her stack and then feel like she can't fold.

The fist hand with the AJ, i would have called for another $75. People will still go for value with A10.
The flop is 6-3-2 rainbow for your set. People can argue whether it's a wet or dry board and (as per your thinking at that moment) the turn card may kill the action, but really, only a 4 or 5 on the turn should you, or the initial raiser, be worried about. Definitely calling her three-bet here is the correct way. What are you rep'ing by four betting her? Top pair with a gunshot draw? Nobody would buy that.

That ajo is a losing call in full ring vs a raise from a tight player. It may even be a losing open. The only flops you really want to see are jack-high, you have to fold if you get squeezed, you can find yourself forced to pay off qq, kk, aa even if you do hit the jack, and on any ace high flop he's just not going to pay you much with middle pair because he knows the field callers' ranges are any ace.

I have had terrible experiences bluff raising rivers when I read *correctly* that my opponent can't have much. I think it really comes down to the inability of these players to put money into the pot FOUR TIMES and then just fold. They just can't. They just don't.

I feel like 3 betting that flop is only leaving like 47 in there (if lucky) and maybe AA that you beat.
I noticed a few videos were taken down. It’s best to avoid the subject/topic of The “optimal dick watcher” / stones Casino etc. Because civil cases have been filed & criminal charges might follow. With that said. It’s also quite wise to not ever say disparaging remarks or ill words about facilities / casinos.
