    I just got this game last weekend and I'm already obsessed. Please teach me your ways.

      A lot of the techniques are documented on Bejeweled Wiki (bejeweled.fandom.com/wiki/Bejeweled_Wiki). In general, to improve at the game (especially the speed modes), try to play frequently and improve on your ability to spot setups for matches.

    Let's be real tho. How did those star effects get there? At least one of them is obviously not connected to any gems.

      @softestcat  Год назад +4

      Gemwipe.
      It’s a glitch which allows to you delete falling gems. When performed on a star gem (or Supernova), the graphics will continue to be drawn to the board until you exit the game. This effect also happens with Hypercubes, time gems, butterflies, and the unused multiplier and blast gems.

    Are elite techniques etc possible on the ipad version bejeweled classic?

    • @softestcat
      @softestcat  4 месяца назад +2

      There's a variation known as BoggY's Elite Technique (BET), though it's harder to perform and requires at least a 4 gem match setup.

      @@softestcat and gem wipe? Also possible on ipad? Ive recently discorvered all of those techniques but only have the ipad version, so im wondering whether that would be possible.

      All techniques from Bej3 are possible in Classic, though some (like BET) are harder to perform due to the faster swap speed.
      Interestingly, this increased swap speed makes some Aerial-I setups possible on mobile, but impossible without a speed chain on PC.

    How are you making those hypercubes. Like what tech is that.
    And at 4:25 you just CASUALLY SEND ONE OF THE BOTTOM-RIGHT GREEN GEMS INTO THE VOID.
    How do you do any of this. HOW. IT'S NOT EVEN MATCH-3 ANYMORE.

    • @thefoolwise262
      @thefoolwise262 Год назад +4

      It’s abusing how the game updates due to the ability to move multiple gems at once

      I’m using several techniques here, but the main ones are:
      Aerial technique - A class of techniques involving making matches along with falling gems to create longer matches.
      Gemwipe - A glitch which allows you to erase gems from existence by performing an illegal move in the air, then making a swap into the open space right before the gems stop falling.
      BoggY’s Elite Technique (BET) - “Locking” a gem in a swap by making swaps on the edges of a 4+ gem match, which will eventually “snap” the swapped gem to its current position, that being inside the line, allowing you to juggle freely and add another gem.
