Making a Needle Burnisher for flush setting gems and diamonds

This is a really important tool that I use anytime I am flush setting a gem or diamond into a ring, pendant, etc... That type of setting is also sometimes called a burnish setting because of how the metal is pushed around the girdle of the stone to secure it in place.
These are very easy to make and I recommend making at least 2 or three in a range of sizes so that you have one at the ready for stones of different sizes.
This video does not cover flush setting. I will cover that in a future video and place a link below when it is ready. It will be silversmithing 210.
