SHROOM PLS DO A FULL MOON FISHING EP PLEASE i tried fishing in the day time after full moon but got 1 soapy and a Trev was really quiet be good to no if it’s true fish feed at night on a full moon
@@dannysoria6143 Fish the tides on the full and dark moons. Full moon mornings can be some of the best fishing you will get if the high coincides with the sunrise. Don't try and fish between the tides, the flow will kill most sessions as fish tend to prefer not having to fight for position while feeding. About an hour and half to the peak (full or low) and about a half hour after is typically the best time to fish these tides depending on where you are fishing. Estuary fishing is particularly effective during full and dark moons as the tides get over areas not always available to feeding as the tides are higher than during the half moons. It is more about the tides and the amount of water moving through than whether the fish are feeding at night or day. They will feed when the conditions are good, whether it is day or night.
Having said that, night fishing is often more productive for the really big fish. Big flatties, whiting, bream and jews move into shallower water nearer the shore in darkness as they feel more covered.
@@AndrewFishman thanks heaps for that info got me thinking a lot on the locations I chose to fish and you are right I caught my Jew right on the change of tide the water was dead still I have so much to learn about fishing been doing it for around 4 years pretty seriously with lures and fell like a complete rookie still would be epic if someone with as much knowledge as you could come out in my boat and teach me a few things

Hey shroom, I had a small question. I put my new gulp nemesis soft plastics in the pearl white colour with some old Kmart glow in the dark shrimp lures and now the nemesis lure has streaks of neon green do you have any suggestions on what happened or how to fix it?

Hey shroom I'm 12 years old and I have never caught a flattie before and it's one of my biggest fishing goals to catch one. I live near glebe and fish on the foreshore (South Rozelle Bay/South Blackwattle Bay) and was wondering if you could maybe go fishing there and make a video about catching flattie on lure/bait (whatever you feel like on the day). Thank you so much and I love watching your videos.
Use soft plastics, let it sink to the bottom and do a double hop then repeat is probably the easiest way. Or you could fresh pilchards bf prawns but they usually don’t work as well
@@midgetjim__1492 Hey I've tried soft plastics before however my setup is pretty grim I have a Pryml junior angler rod and a 6000 size reel cuz my other one broke and I don't have any money for new gear 😭. I think the main reason why I don't catch fish on lures is because the rod doesn't have much flick to it so I can't cast far and it's really hard to do proper double hops. I also don't have any braid and have mono. So I'm pretty sure that this is the problem.
@@GloryGloryToSouthSydney 6000 is a bit overkill haha. A bendy, whippier rod definitely helps too. If you're finding it hard to use lures then try live poddy mullet which in my opinion are the number 1 flathead bait. Otherwise use really fresh whole prawns or pilchards however small fish do usually get to them first a lot of the time
@@midgetjim__1492 Ye 6000 size reel sucks. I got a new rod and reel from my pop who is a big fisho and he had it lying around. It's actually a really nice rod and reel and the rod is very bendy which I think will help me. On saturday I'm going fishing with my Dad in Narrabeen cuz i'm playing footy there. Can't wait and thanks for all the tips.
@@GloryGloryToSouthSydney Narrabeen if you want flathead the best best bait is small live poddy mullet. You can use a mullet trap or catch them with a float and bread on a small hook but it’s a bit harder. It’s a bit of a pressured spot and I feel like the flathead there are a bit wary of lures at times. Especially in winter the fishings a bit slower but I did catch a 53cm flathead there a few weeks ago on literally half a pilly so they are still around. Try under the woolies bridge. There’s a lot of pickers at times but with it being colder it shouldn’t be as bad. Ball sinker to swivel to a meter of leader with a live poddy mullet would probably be the best but if you can’t then just try the usual. Soft plastics and fresh bait hopefully you get onto one

Yes, fish tide changes is the best time. Areas such as points or headlands, where the river turns, and ferry wharves are some good places to start
