Great little stove! I like it! That should make it easy for your guests and something different at the same time. Experience is what they will be there for! I think your vision on each cabin will provide just that. Well done Steve👊🏻

Thanks Todd, I can't wait till we can all go there and split some wood. Once the bath house is done and I build a wood shed we're in business!

Good vid. Good to see you up and about. Stove seems to work pretty well. For a country boy no issue. Burns clean. Easy to start. For novice over nighters shoild be good. Power station and buddy heater also good. Long slop winter ahead for a couple more months. Take care Happy Holidays to you and gang.

There is a way to shut the stove off if you check out their video on it. I was checking out the same stove

I thought I saw that somewhere too. They also make a slide in plate you can cut the pellets off at the bottom of the hopper.

That's a super cool little pellet stove, when I first started my stove in our basement, I didn't know to burn it outside first and dang that smell was horrible!!!

I’ve used the bricks in my wood stove just try them out and I was surprised how well they worked. Especially being that I’ve also had a pellet stove for heat since 06. I was impressed how they seemed the same but my wood stove didn’t need a combustion blower. But when the power goes out … my pellet stove REQUIRED POWER !…. definitely interested and definitely not ditching my wood stoves either ! 🙄😳😂😎

This is the first pellet stove I've ever had. I thought it would feel more like a gas log but heat felt the same.

Sweet stove. I've always wondered about those, but we have access to plenty of Oak here in the Carolinas that is mostly free (except for the labor). I have a friend that ran a cabin property much like yours and the wood stoves were one of the biggest issues. I once heard that it is very difficult to make something idiot-proof because idiots are so ingenious. It looks like you're taking one step to solve that issue.

What prevents the flame from traveling up the column of pellets and burning all the pellets at the same time?

wondered the same thing. The owner says they have never had it happen. I think the pellets are too dense up the chute to ignite. Also the daft of the stove pulls the flames towards the flu and not towards the pellets.
