Meteorologists are actors that broadly guess about weather..

I only watch David Paul. That's it. I don't mess with anybody else. I'm sure the others are competent, but I watch DP *only* . I was born in Houston, so I can't watch anybody else. DP worked under Dr. Neil Frank, so I respect him more. I just wish he was on camera more. But I understand that he can't due to his other responsibilities🙁.

To me, this upcoming experience with Beryl sounds similar to what Nicholas did back in 2021, even though Nicholas took a different turn after hitting landfall. This will not be fun to sleep through.

Another meteorologist mentioned that this storm might intensify to a Cat.1 hurricane. But the gusts will feel more like a cat.3. Do you agree?

So it was predicted at the bottom of Texas now all the way to Houston. Wth

Is this the first time you've ever seen a weather forecast?

It was never predicted at the bottom, it was predicted to hit Corpus Christi. Now it's expected to hit between Corpus and Houston. Weather forecasts change hour to hour. It's never exact.

I don't understand why your weather department does not recognize Freeport, Clute, Oyster Creek, Jones Creek, Brazoria, channel 2 recognizes all the small townships. Freeport is on the coast . I live 6 miles from the beach and we never get talked about . I will be watching channel 2 from now on because they recognize all the small townships in Brazoria County

Check your ego, Vickie. He speaks about the coast and the impacts. No one should need their small town named.

Storms dont get stronger at night. The sunlight causes the uptick not just the warm water.

Yes they do. As long as its over warm water. They stay warm over the summer. Ive seen plenty of hurricanes get powerful very fast overnight
