Great video!! What a synth. Great jams-too.
I'll often write demos with a drum machine, bass guitar and string synth - just three instrument parts. If that sounds any good, then I'll rework the demo with more sophisticated synths and sampled drums. I call it the "Vince Clarke" method, as he is on record as saying that he mostly composes on just an acoustic guitar.
Ah! Interesting! Never heard of the "Vince Clarke Method"! But it perfectly makes sense! 👍 I like to see my studio as a band where every synth or drum machine has its role. So every time I have an idea, I have a base to start from, when I start the DAW. I think that this a typical workflow for people who intend to produce and finish complete songs or tracks.
Its great you can demonstrate with a Superb
arrangement. Not just some collection of abstract bleeps and noises generated from a chain of Eurorack modules ❤
Thanks! I like to try synths while producing new tracks. And I don’t have a Eurorack-System! 😁
Geil 🎉
Great question! Anywhere from 3 to 300 elements....😂 You nailed it here. Just the right amount of salt and pepper.
Absolutely love it but just remember kids just an ableton licence can do all of this. Make the money buy the gear ❤
This is a magnificent arrangement on a wonderful synthesizer, holy cow! Waldorf is so often this quality, a lot of lushness, great low end, it's an exciting machine. Sehr gut! I myself have to have at least 3 main elements going, however, occasionally, I can get away with two. Looking at the elements as kind of like "entities" or band members is generally how I look at them, and multitrack recording machines as an instrument as well.
Keep up the good work! Yes, would be interested in your thoughts on Ghost…
Mint❤
Nice melodic techno - I often struggle to figure out why people claim to need 100 tracks. Look forward to the Nina comparison! Are you into Traum Schallplatten / Manual Music? The main criticism I hear about the M is a slow dated processor - do you notice it?
Yeah! When I use more than 16 tracks in Ableton, I am recording the single outs of a drum machine! I also use groups and sends. Old school workflow! 😁
Traum/Trapez is cool! Back in the days I sold many records to the Kompakt Shop in Cologne! So I knew some of the guys behind the labels. Concerning the M I don‘t know how a „slow“ processor could be perceived? Envelopes are nice and snappy and I did not have any lags while playing.
@@winesynths Most of my tracks are in the 20 range with about 10 for individual drums. That's cool. Yes Kompakt had many great releases too. I used to follow the Cologne scene very closely. Cocoon was brilliant 15 years ago too. This is the part I meant when he says the DSP / Processor feels like a synth that's 20 years old: ruclips.net/video/5RZUD-PqPM0/видео.htmlsi=IhRKfpPJAfWx_EES&t=2472
nice jams! I have a Virus Ti2 that gets me there and also has tons of onboard effects. So will pass on Waldorf.
