    Opeth. That is all. Thank you.

      I feel like I should just nod solemnly or something. Indeed. Forsooth.

    I'd recommend "Still Life" as your full album reaction. In my opinion, a flawless album front to back with no songs that I skip.

    Great reaction again. For the full album Blackwater Park, considered their classic (though they are all classics to my ears) and the one most associated with Steven Wilson. From the newer era, I would say Pale Communion.

      I'm hearing a lot of Still Life suggestions, but also a lot of Blackwater Park suggestions. Maybe I should do both?

    Don´t know what you did but the volume is awesome now btw. I think most of us who heard this track before waited for 12:47, just pure eargasm.
    My picks for album reaction would be My Arms Your Hearse or Still Life, both are pretty much flawless imo, although Still Life took me a decent amount of listens to truly appreciate. MAYH pretty much clicked for me instantly, it has such a nostalgic feel and a truly unique sound to it, and all tracks blend together perfectly. That would be my top pick, also I don´t think you done any reactions from either of those albums yet.

      Definitely seeing requests for both My Arms Your Hearse and Still Life lately...I'll have to see what I can do! Got some randomness coming up soon, but there are more donation requests for Opeth in the coming weeks for sure. No idea when I will get another album 100% done.

      Oh, and thanks for letting me know the sound is improved. I did some research and found a way to record each audio source as its own track through OBS. Also learned a few new editing tricks! Always trying to improve. :)

    I often listen to Pale Communion all the way through. And I also love to play along on the drums :)

    Full album should be either Blackwater Park or Ghost Reveries. Both are peak Opeth, but for different reasons.

    • @RightManWrongPlace
      @RightManWrongPlace  8 месяцев назад +1

      Is it weird to do an album reaction when I've already done several tracks from it? Like...do I skip those, or react again?

    • @Eirath
      @Eirath 8 месяцев назад +1

      @@RightManWrongPlace I've seen other reaction creators just skip those tracks, while doing such albums. They skip, but mention them and summarize from memory what they thought about it. I think that'd be the smoothest.
      Buuut at the same time, I mean, ofc it would be more fun to see a whole album you haven't covered anything from.

      I would say do Still Life instead since you haven’t covered a lot from that album! It’s has an amazing story as it is a concept album and it’s often called Blackwater Park junior!😊

    One of my favourite Opeth tracks for sure.
    For full album I think you got enough recommendations. My favourite album is Watershed though, but you've done too much from it already I guess. Love it's eclectisism!

    • @RightManWrongPlace
      @RightManWrongPlace  8 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah, I think I will probably finish out Watershed before too long! It will just be piecemeal though. Still Life is definitely happening over the next few weeks. 😀

    Loved this one :) Ghost Reveries is perfect 🖤🤎 these evil bongos.... uuuuhhh love them (I think they are really bongos, not another hand drums, they have played them live a few times if I am not crazy lol, the keybordist plays them if I remember correctly). For a full album reaction I would chose Still Life, it is an amazing one you have done nothing yet so... and it is a concept album with a whole story behind it. My second favorite :) Damnation is another great one, even if it is different - very intimate, only clean vocals, beautiful sad melancholy and shorter songs. The Blackwater Park Album I believe you have already listened to a few, right? If not... people surely would love it. Regardless I hope you get to listen and react to the softer ones from GR as well, they are superb.... Hours of Wealth or Isolation Years. Sorry for the big essay lol I get carried away. Thanks for your reactions :)

      I love essays! Haha. Thanks so much, I really do love reading comments like this and it helps me decide where to go on my Opeth journey!

    The interesting thing about this song is how they manage to combine Eastern tribal music with progressive death metal ! You can hear some of it on many deep down layer of the song. That's why when I hear this song, it remined me of Jinn(some evil creature from another dimension in musilm's Quran) ! I mean, just look at the name of the song ! The Grand Conjuration :-) Nice reaction/review as always 👏 If you look for more Middle-Eastern music inspiration in Opeth, you can hear "Closure" from Damnation 2003 and "The Seven Sojourn" from Sorceress 2016

    • @RightManWrongPlace
      @RightManWrongPlace  8 месяцев назад +1

      Excellent info--thank you! I'll make sure both of those songs are on my request list!

      @@RightManWrongPlace Many thanks for reply and reactions. The live version of "Closure" at Shepherd's Bush Empire is flawless 💯 it's actually longer than the studio version, although the studio version is amazing too. Maybe you can check two songs(studio and live) in one single video and compare them ! That would be nice 🙌

    The best choice for a full album review might be Still Life since you haven't heard any songs from that record. It is also a concept album with an story unfolding from beginning to end.

    • @RightManWrongPlace
      @RightManWrongPlace  8 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you! That seems to be the popular choice, so I'm going to do it!

    Another great song from an equally great album. ❤
    I could be mistaken, but I think the string sounds come from the mellotron.
    Answering your question about full album: Still Life with 2nd choice being My Arms Your Hearse.

      Oh yeah, I just commented to someone else that maybe I should do Still Life and Blackwater Park. I keep forgetting about MAYH! (Probably because when I first started seeing it, I didn't know what the acronym was.) Maybe I should do all three! Hahaha

    Would you be willing to react to BABYMETAL? I would suggest starting with recent live performances of their songs Road of Resistance, Megitsune, and Monochrome from their PIA Arena 2023 concerts, Black and Clear Night. Edit: Added playlist to a reply of this post.

      I mean, it can't be too much crazier than the intro music to anime these days, right? Never heard anything by them, but I don't see why I would blacklist them.
