Or not wear. I can play all first of her 3 and his 2 albums. Yeah I'm old I said albums. I would love to spend the rest of my time jamming with both of these priceless ones. I paid stupid money for a Lisa loeb autographed children's foundation artimis poster
Did you even pay attention to the performance? His eyes were closed almost the entire time. I would imagine he may be nervous playing out again in this intimate venue, seeing as he works on broadway music now primarily and less gigging out and playing shows...
@11ghtning agree w you on him not reading the lyrics but I would guarantee you he is not the least bit intimidated by an intimate venue. I've seen him several times at smaller venues (
@@blueleaf16 i'm an amateur musician and i can ensure that he are looking, or reading, what have in the pedestal, many times in the 1º verse. 0:30 he turned the eye/head to the side and don't return, amost hesitating on the "wishing". that's not a usual moviment a for professional singer, walking away from the mic and singing from the side and not the front. this interferes on the captation of the sound.
@gabriel.rs1 Not looking to challenge your experience, & I can understand why you'd think that. Having seen Duncan live several times, I've noticed that he does have this mannerism on stage where he looks at his fellow stage musicians to direct w hand motions (he reached out to Lisa early in this one too) or get in sync with them. One time I saw him in Chicago & he turned almost a full 90° degrees while playing bc the drummer (who I assumed was hired for the show & not a regular w Duncan) was slightly out of sync and even completely missed coming in at one point. In this case, when you pointed out the :30 timestamp, I believe he was looking at Lisa to try and be in sync with her. Like I said, that is a mannerism I've seen him do before. Honestly... my gut is that he is slightly embarrassed by the popularity of this song. He's sort of discounted it publicly before, maybe as a "aw shucks", but he's said things like "this one's just for fun."
Seeing my Musical heroes getting old hits like a punch straight to the gut T_T
As a 90s teen, this made my head explode. Amazing!

Like a CSN song
The first song I ever learned on guitar - but I definitely can't sing it as well as Duncan :D
Lisa Loeb is gorgeous and talented but I prefer the duet with Suzanne Vega. Wish they’d turn up her mic.
:)
Human is not breathingg
why he is reading the lyric? don't sing this song anymore?
Unlikely -- that's probably the set list in front of him.
