blows my mind how you have the scientific names of almost all these plants memorized.. beautiful collection!
Agreed! I can barely remember the common names of all mine, I gotta up my game 😂
You get better at it. You start first by remembering the names of your most favorite plants. He has a lot of plants of the same species so then what he has to remember is the varietal names.
Well this is a hoya...
I know right I have about 15 plants and I know maybe 5 names lol
@@mobina4569 lmao
“These are my roommates pops, I cant stand them” he says as his plants take over the entire apartment 🤪😂😂😂
Those pops are ur roommate way of telling the world, ‘I was here’...lol
Lol
Your tours are the best! I really enjoy how casually you have your “rare” and more common plants all mixed together and how you highlight them all equally
Everytime I watch one of your houseplant tours, I grab a pen and paper because you help me identify all those plants that I have that say, "Hi, my name is Pilea" or "Foliage Plant"... thanks so much!!!
I suggest downloading a really great app called PlantNet. It's basically reverse image search identification for plants. It's great for identifying virtually anything!
I just want to tell you that you made my day today...Taking a picture with you because while fighting cancer and won last year I watched you😊this day last year I was not in a good place!!! Thank you
I bet the oxygen in that room is so crisp
i always feel like i don’t have enough room for more plants and then i see your house and i’m like “yes i dooo”
I would love to see a watering routine video!
Same
Exactly my thought as I am already struggling to keep up for my few plants (way too few compare to his) :)
I would love to see you clean/care for your plants section by section.
Only I can say "WOW" ( ur plants collection, ur memory of plants name, ur home, ur planter...) love them all💚💚💚🌿☘🌱
OmG, your string of pearls is to die for!! For me it's a constant battle to keep mine alive.
I thought the exact same thing 😂
Time goes by so fast, I just watched all 50 minutes of this tour and yet it feels like 5 minutes
It’s amazing how you’ve memorized all the scientific names of the plants! I have no idea how you’re able to keep them all straight. I can’t even imagine what your watering schedule must be like.🤯
I’ve always been so impressed by how you can remember the names of every single plant. I strive to be better in this! 🤣 if I don’t label, I’m lost. 🤦🏼♀️ great tour Nick!
Especially some of the hoyas!
Loved the tour and especially the last shot where you zoomed out so we can appreciate the full space with your plants. ❤
I’ve watched my fair share of house plant tours, I think this one may be the best 💙 nick has such a warmth and relaxed feel but his plants are all show stopping and his knowledge is beyond. Thank you so much nick for sharing this! 💙💙💙💙
That drop it like it’s hot selfie was LIFE!
That’s what I was thinking too 😂
Great tour, it reminded of the children’s book The Plant Sitter.
Holy shit man, what an amazing collection!!! I’m always impressed when you rattle off all the scientific names!!!
Omg #Goals. Your passion and knowledge of houseplants is so amazing to me. Thank you for sharing your space with all of us. I am seriously a fan, I wish I knew all your plant knowledge. For me it is a fun hobby on my spare time that I LOVE so thank you for making these videos.
THE MOST AWAITED! Okay back to watching
Notice po
I’m so impressed how you remember all their full names!! Very well done, Nick. Thank you for having the full names written out as well. Much appreciated
"The ShameCorner" 😂
Do you have a video that shows/explains how you deal with common pests? I’m having a huge mealy bug issue with my 100+ plants 😅
Katie H; Buy the Neem Oil..... Also watch videos of Amanda from Planterina, she'll tell you what to use for pest.......
I can't believe how well that janet craig dracena is doing in the dark corner behind the tv
seriously!!!!
Nick says, 2020 House Plant Tour! I stop, gotta sit down for 300+ plants!! Let the show begin! 😃💚
Never seen so many interesting plants in a persons home. I love how you know their names. Thank you for sharing this video I really enjoyed watching your hole plant collection. It’s very beautiful!
I love houseplants, but this is a little too much for me, too cluttered and hard to clean. Glad you like your plants though.
Wow amazing you can grow so many plants and they're thriving so well. I miss having so much room and light to grow all the plants I use to. I just love having that jungle look in my home. Brings so much life to a home. And definitely brings out your creative thumb and a great hobby. Awesome job. ❤
These videos are so helpful in providing insight into where I should place my plants. I just moved from a "north-facing-only" house to a "south-facing-majority" house and have struggled to find the best spot for everybody!
Loved how long the video was. Could watch plant tours all day. Love your space. Xx
"The good plants are in the front and my shame is in the back" hahaha real plant parent feels there Nick LOL. Can relate
We totally judge you Nick...as one of the very best plant youtubers ever! And my favorite.
The common name for the Hoya Krohniana that starts with an "E" at timestamp 3:33 is actually a *slur* towards many northern native peoples, especially the iñupiat from what I'm told! Really love the video just thought we could all be mindful of words we no longer should be using!
Wow! I would love that many plants! This quarantine ramped up my CV collecting. I now have about 55. I love learning about the ones I'm unfamiliar with, then acquiring the ones I feel will do well in my space. Your videos have been very helpful, so thanks. Hope you are well.
So glad I found your channel! I love how you know all their names! I learned what two of my plants are that I bought with no tags!
Wow, I can’t believe your collection! I also can’t believe I just watched all 50 minutes 🤯
OH MY FREAKING GOD, I love your bedroom setup. This is exactly how I want my bedroom to be but I cant afford to so many plants. I guess I'll look on CL for free plants lol. Thanks for sharing your amazing plant ideas.
If I worked in a plant store, I would buy one every week. Your room looks like a plant paradise.
Your living room is beautiful. Thanks for this amazing tour.
Wowsers!! That was such a fun tour and your plants are absolutely gorgeous!! I love every single one!! 🪴
I love your "curated" collection. Is curated code for plants you have killed or don't like much any more? I also appreciate that with all your plants, you really provide interesting information and great detail on many of the individual plants. That in itself is a great skill and I applaud you on that.
Nick, I LOVE the facial hair you’re sporting lately...it suits you! ♥️
So sad that I can't get the aspidistra milky way. It's such a beautiful plant to me!
Wow! I watched the whole thing, that was awesome! You’re so thorough and knowledgeable; you showed me so many new plants I’ve never heard of! Great video ❤️
All that fresh Oxygen 😍
I would pay money to get a tour of his home 😅
Pay up, you owe him $20 : ))
musicalmarion does he accept PayPal 😅
@@DavidMoralesPlants I'm hoping he doesn't charge us all! He's got a lovely appartment though : )
musicalmarion he really does 😍
Plants on plants on plants!!! You have all my wishlist plants! But I’m not surprised bc you’re goals.
Also, watering must be a BISH!!!
I am super impressed by your plant collection but even more impressed that you are able to remember them by their scientific name!
Nick, you’re so knowledgeable and I really appreciate your willingness to share your knowledge. You seem super kind and I feel blessed to have discovered your channel. Keep it up. Thank you.
thank you for sharing! I don't know how you can remember all of the plants'name. Keep on your good work taking care of plants and sharing your knowledge.
*Please show how you water them all 👍 I have only 70 plants (over 100 including propagations) and I can't even keep up with that 😳*
Wowwwww tbh I’m not normally even a huge Phil PP fan (maybe because I always see immature plants with less variegation) but your PPP is GOALS
You have got beautiful and stanning plants! I'm amazed how and when you care them!
Very nice Nick! I like seeing what other people have. I am at 165 house plants and still looking for more. Funny thing is I'm from a small town and everything is an hr or longer away. Thanks to you I am a customer for Steve's Leaves, and I also shop from Hirt's Gardens.
Your place looks very comfy with all of your plants. Love it.
Lovely plants I love most of your pots
Your plant collecting style is my favorite. You have everything love it
I am thoroughly impressed to the point that I have NO WORDS to describe just how much 🤯
You are AMAZING!! I did sit and watched. You have a very exclusive plant collection. Thank you for taking the time to share your plant collection to the world. I am working on my collection. You inspire me!! Thank you, Nick.
Omg, I’m amazed how you remember all the scientific names of your plants.
You have an amazing collection of beautiful and exotic plants.
Wow love your plant tours! I think it is worth mentioning, your Tillandsias are extremely healthy looking as a person who has been growing Tillandsias for many , many years in greenhouses and indoors I can safely say they are challanging just to keep alive much less thrive as yours are! Great job and thank you.
That was great, Nick. So beautiful. Thanks.
Hi Nick! This was an amazing houseplant tour! I loved listening to your talking throughout the video, so fun! You have some beautiful plants! I haven't heard of a LOT of them before. Your bedroom would be the perfect place to sleep and wake up to. I find it amazing how you can fit so many plants into your apartment and still make it a nice space to live in, but who wouldn't want to look at all of those beautiful plants? It was so nice getting to see Muffin! She's such a pretty kitty and it's always obvious how much you love her. As always, amazed by your knowledge of almost all of the plant names. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!
If you ever wanna get rid of anymore, I'll buy/glad take from you 🥺 I'm in Philly!!!✨ Loved this tour even more than the last! such beautiful happy plants
So many beautiful plants thank you for sharing this beautiful video
Wow, u r the king /queen of plants . Must take u a long time to water all of ur plants . I’m an orchids guys . I have 40 phalaenopsis, 6 vandas, 3 cattleya, 10 miniature orchids and couple big pots of succulents. 2 Hoya Kerri .
Amazing houseplant tour! 🌿
This was everything I needed today. Thank you! 💚
I can rewatch this over and over again!
Are you taking applications for a sibling?? I felt like that was a tour with my brother and I loved it. Thanks for sharing your space and your plants with us all!
It's a good thing you have grow lights because it looks like some of your Tropicals because of their position appear to not be getting enough natural sunlight. Great collection. I only have 5 in my collection, all of the rare, hard to find catagories except the Echeveria Perle Von Nurnberg and Bird of Paradise (Strelitzia reginae), which I hope eventually flower.
I had so much fun watching the whole video and now I need the flowering plant that you said smells of jasmine tea lol
i love how you say you can't stand your roommates pop funko dolls but your apartment is being literally overrun by plants!! lol i love your collection!
I wanna live in that bathroom 😍 the whole house looks gorgeous❤cant imagine what moving would b like. But can anyone imagine what he would do if he had a house with a yard?! 🤩
I'm so jealous....thanks for sharing your garden!
Amazing. Such a beautiful diverse collection. Your ability to recall all of their names is equally impressive.
I am impressed that you know the names of all the plants and can prounced them all
Wow!!! You are legit!! You have a new fan from Vegas!
I’m a succ&cac kinda girl but your home is so beautiful and inspiring... love that you don’t say this is a very rare and expensive plant.. very classy👏👏👏
Love your plants and a very cozy home. Even the little people at the end. Lol they made me chuckle. I have a few wierd toys kids leave on the ground and i atach to my plant stand or in a pot just to give a pot something weird
Your the Professor of flowers. Just love this
Extremely beautiful plants. Very healthy plants. Admired the way you maintained your plants. Awsome that you explained each plants name.
wow rare houseplants thanks for sharing....God bless..
Please please make a video on how you care for/water these beautiful plants❣️
Hats off to you for keeping them all alive! You've introduced me to my next plant. Zz Revan. 🤩
this person really connected to his plants no wonder he can memorized all those scientific names of these plants.
Love all the trailing plants & the way your plants are growing towards the light💗 I always had a couple of plants in my house & now starting to bring in more currently @ around 35 plants. Lovely to see your collection. You have a beautiful apartment!
Enjoying Nick's house tour and commentary as usual... while adding several peperomias/hoyas in cart lightening speed
take a shot every time nick says "don't judge me" xD
This is just so mind blowing to watch these tours. Greetings from Finland!
cool apartment, LOVE all the plants you have.
Had to rewind 39:30 and rewatch 3 times🤣 .....you’re adorable.
This is my new fav channel. Thanks!
I can see your green thumb hobby is new since you don't have any montrous size plants which needs to get trimmed and/or cut down completely. Thumbs up from another green thumb from nothern Europe!
Loved it!! 💚😃Amazing collection!! 😍
Nick I really enjoyed seeing your home and collection. A lot of the home tours I watch have clear themes of one or two specific families and then only a smattering of other varieties of plants. You definitely have a peperomia theme going on. After that your collections is unique in that you have several other families of plants well represented. I loved seeing your epiphylliums. I have a couple and would like to have more when I have room. Only one bone to pick with you: Please get the little sansevierias out of the dark crate. If you don't have room for them you could send them to me. ;)
Thank you so much for sharing your lovely jungly home. These are actually my favourite videos. I feel like you've taken us on field trip 😊🤗
OMG you just made my day! Gonna zoom through my emails, get another coffee & enjoy!
Enjoyed your video very much!! It’s good to see your succulent and cactus collection!! Beautiful plants!!
This is the 3rd time I've watched this video , and I still love it and will definitely watch it a 4th time .
So jealous of all those cebu blues! top of my wishlist. And I can't believe you remember all those names, that's dedication!
