Luang Prabang, Laos🇱🇦 Morning Market and Monks Giving Alms (4K HDR)

The city of Luang Prabang is a World Heritage Site with a thousand years of Buddhist tradition. The monks eat only one meal a day, refrain from alcohol and meat, and do not eat after lunch. Every morning they perform "alms giving", from 5:30 to 6:30 in winter and from 5:00 to 6:00 in summer, depending on the time of daylight in winter and summer. The monks will wear orange robes and carry bamboo bowls and go round in the direction of the clock for about one hour to represent the fulfillment of wishes.
