i really want a way to locate your villagers. like asking another villager “have you seen________”. sometimes i find villagers wandering behind cliffs or in un walkable areas
the game has only been out for a few months, u don't know for certain that nintendo will not give us updates like this. while i doubt they will give us every quality of life feature from these videos, they did say that they will be updating the game for about 3 years so updates like this are very likely.

Honestly there's no reason why they shouldn't be able to indicate whether you've cataloged something or not. In the DIY menu it tells you if you've made the item before AND how many are in your inventory or storage
Items you haven't catalogued yet could have a little sparkle on the corner every now and then, kinda like watered flowers, so you don't even need to inspect them.
I want a 360 degree view of the island like we have in our house. I also want to be able to move the resident services building along with the changes in the videos.
New horizons music is certainly not bad but it's really not good either. Its only OK. The music for this franchise has been going downhill since new leaf

For context for the original comment, in Nick's streams of him making this video, he mentioned that he likes most of the tunes in this game, but the synthesizer melodies ruin many of them for him. In my opinion, the synthesizer wasn't the best choice, but the tracks are still really good even with them.

They should add 2 villagers modes: Normal mode: They have more personality, and can be rude, like in the old game. Chill mode: They are nice to you at all times, like as of right now. These modes are allowed to be changed.

I would love that if my villagers would tell me to stop talking to them so many times, but if it is added then it should be able to be different for each resident so a younger person who plays on the same switch wont be told to fuck off by their favorite villager

ftr, there are reasons why they dont have some of these features. you cant decorate/terraform while guests r visiting so that you cant trap them. but most of this is... wow. like youre literally telling them concisely what everyone thinks is wrong with this game and nintendo is just like "Actually we just made it harder to make money" like. why. WHY. this is supposed to be a fun zen game not a challenge
Another thing is that you can't customize your airport because it's vital to some of the mechanics. Different coloured airports mean that you will get certain exclusive colours on items in nook shopping.

the two things i want are: when you craft something, in between the “keep crafting” and “done for now” options, there’s a “customize it!” option if you just crafted a customizable item. you should be able to put trees, bushes, and flowers you dug up into your storage. seriously, i can hold five fountains and a whale shark in there but not a tulip?

Nah, Nintendo won’t do that, New Horizons is an island builder, and they ignored the “Animal” part of Animal Crossing, the animals now just feel like complete shells and dolls, purely for decoration, and that isn’t my cup of tea. I hope they change it, but I doubt that they would.

I need that DIY house storage so badly. I have 2 fully maxed out houses with every tile filled with DIYs. Been having to mail the DIYs to the mailboxes now. Still holding on to them all out of the faint hope that DIYs could be stored and searched for just like spare fossils can now.

That design editor one--I've never understood why the touchscreen doesn't work with it.
I had bought one of those pencils that work with touchscreens the day I bought ACNH cause I knew I would do a lot of designing. Wasted 10$

Time.W Thomas most of the people complaining never played the previous games. There are a lot of things I do want to Improve but understanding where it originally came from, I’m somewhat content. 🙂

Even if you have all "cute" characters, they most likely have different personalities...but they're still the same of 6 different personalities that all of the characters in the game share. They're saying they want a little more variety than 6 different cookie-cutter personalities.
@@Shademastermcc & that the 6 personalities is kind of all you get with the villagers. Where is the personal growth? The most I get out of talking to my villagers is them asking to call me mountain. There is no development in how they talk throughout your "relationship" with them, just cookie cutter meaningless lines that are so, so repetitive.

This is cool and all, but will Villagers finally stop repeating or even sharing the same dialog? People (including myself) find that old after a while and it takes away from how unique they are as characters...
Nah, Nintendo won’t do that, New Horizons is an island builder, and they ignored the “Animal” part of Animal Crossing, the animals now just feel like complete shells and dolls, purely for decoration, and that isn’t my cup of tea. I hope they change it, but I doubt that they would.

I need that DIY house storage so badly. I have 2 fully maxed out houses with every tile filled with DIYs. Been having to mail the DIYs to the mailboxes now. Still holding on to them all out of the faint hope that DIYs could be stored and searched for just like spare fossils can now.
You can also send the extra diys to the recycle/lost and found box in resident services!
I restarted my island so if u are willing to let me get your diys i would be really happy >_

As far as I know, the Smash Bros. Direct had a japanese meme reference. But well... it was a Smash Bros. Direct, not a Nintendo Direct.
Nintendo actually references memes a lot in both Directs and actual games.
They did add the storage idea in the video, but I’m confused why that was the only one. All of these ideas were awesome and would probably make ACNH a much better game. This stuff looked like it came out of the news section on my switch!
