"For the same reason I will probably never go the 3d printing route..." That surely aged like milk, haha. But I do love that your focus is still recycling random bits from anywhere, love the content!
Maybe your channel is small, but your work and editing is huge, really love this diorama, and I think that the final result has the spirit of the movie.
Wow! That is adorable! I love how you use random junk and left over bits and pieces then turn them into something amazing! Both you and Boylei Hobby have such great creativity and imagination!
I think you really captured the spirit of Wall-E by using scrap pieces to build him. It was cool to see that junk pile come together too. The video production quality is top notch! And I can’t wait for the croc tower! I’ll post a pic of it on display
This is by far, the BEST Wall-E scratch build I’ve seen…. I adore the end result, it’s beautiful! I imagine your friends were over the moon with it! 🥰🤩 Totally agree about the whole 3D printing thing, it’s not scratch built if you’re using programmes to build it for you! It definitely takes away the charm too. I know of some fab artists that work with 3D printing and it’s great in its own right, but I much prefer this type of art. Keep it up, you’re truly talented.
I came here from Boylei Hobby Time and I should thank him for showing us your amazing channel! I have no doubts this channel will blow up in a short time (I mean in a good way). Amazing build and great editing!

Yeah, I'm with you there on the 3D printers. I feel like there's a certain level of precision and detail that is very difficult to achieve without it, but there's so much charm in knowing that everything is done by hand! Thanks!
The Smugglers Room brought me here and so happy they did! Fantastic videos and projects. Now I’ll go back and watch from the beginning. Thanks for the great content! Subscribed and rang the bell!
Some LED lights in his eyes would have been awesome! I love how it turned out though, so glad i found your channel. Very underrated, you remind me of Studson Studio.
a mix of traditional building and 3d printing is the way I've gone I made a diorama of 7th heaven from final fantasy 7 recently and I crafted it mostly by hand but I 3d modelled and printed some of the detail pieces I've also modelled little houses and trees for a diorama but made the base from scrap
I love scratch building. I lack the skill and patience to deal with 3d printing myself, even though I do own a 3d printer. However, I think it's a great tool for creating details that would destroy your soul due to the tedium (like railings, window frames, things you need to make a lot of etc). Same for laser cutters.
I was super happy to come across one of your videos that I haven't seen yet, YT was being nice to me. Lol. I always love your videos, the commentary and just watching how you create awesome pieces with random bits, that takes true talent. Once you hit that with paint, it totally comes to life and we get a nice visual present. As for 3D printing, I would love to get one just to build set piece's for my Star Wars figures, but I'd have to have room for it first. Lol. Awesome build as always. 👍
I'm amazed that this Wall-E was made with chipboard and pencil parts, from the thumbnail I'd have sworn it was a plastic kit. Incredible details and the painting is spot-on! 👍👍 Speaking of the insane level of pencil parts you use in your builds. I am pretty sure that you must have put at least one of the stationary store owner's kids through college and bought the other one braces. 😅 FYI - I watched your "Flea" video and had to immediately subscribe. Now I'm working my way through your other videos and can definately see the progress you've made as you get better and better with each one. Keep on keeping on!!
Just discovered this change and have been watch bk you’re other builds but this has to be my very favourite. If u ever want go get ride of this diorama I would love to make it home on my desk
You do such great work, I just started diorama building recently and love watching your videos. Your editing and commentary are wonderful. Hoping one day I could get to your level. 👍
Am a model builder I have been doing it 45 years I dont like 3d printing it's just not the same you are right it takes all the fun out of building model kits you have a great day be safe
Very glad you won’t go the 3D printing way. As you said, it takes the challenge away + watching a machine go up and down is tedious to watch. Fantastic Wall-E, by the way. 👌🏼👍🏼🥰
I am one who believes that scrap building is not "scratch building" when 3D parts are used. If you are able to make everything that you might need, then it does not become a scrap build. I do feel that SOME 3D parts are very helpful, I can't bring myself to just make my parts to achieve a build. That's where artistic license becomes relevant.
Yeah, I totally get how you feel. However, having done a lot of things from scratch, and having kit bashed many more, I've come to accept that there are some things that are just far more practical to design and print. The skillset just shifts from building it manually to building it digitally.
I thought exactly like you being a modeller I was always against 3D printers but now I have 4 resin printers and can't imagine my modelling hobby without them now! Just opens up a whole new door for the hobby! Excellent content mate , loved all your videos so far , you are very talented/creative, subbed. Can I request some more scratch built stuff from plastic waste as that’s my thing that I do and I need all the tips I can get , keep it up
As someone who models a tad and has a 3d printer, I don’t think it’s exactly cheating or anything. Because almost no matter what, you’ll always have to paint, and painting is arguably the most difficult part.
Interesting take! For me the building is definitely more challenging than painting. Sometimes I'll have to mull over a project for weeks before I even start because I'm trying to figure out how to do all the different parts. The painting usually goes pretty quick, and I'm so relieved that the building is finished that it's very enjoyable!
Fantastic build. You do wonders with chipboard. OFF TOPIC: You said at some point in your video that you bought scrap model bits off of ebay. I haven't had much luck doing that-- any clues where to look, and maybe what search parameters to use?
