    Seeing and hearing you go across that field reminded me of Steve McQueen in The Great Escape on the Triumph. Neat bike!

      Yes it is a parallel Twin Engine. Yamaha XS650 Air cooled

    Hi, I love what you’ve done here!.Can you tell me what other bike parts you used. I read Kawa KLX swing arm,Yam YZ forks.
    What wheels did you use.What alterations did you have to make?. Cheers

      Hi Kevin, there are a lot of alterations at this bike. Sorry for bad Englich first.
      -Frame cuted all unnessessary parts like footpeg mounts
      -totally new mount for the twinshocks build and welded
      -cutted the main frame tube and restored it with two sid tubes for use single carburetor
      -fitted the kawasaki swing arm
      -made a new steer tube axle for fitting YZ Fork in XS Steering Tube
      -Homemade Air Box
      -homemade 1in2 suction pipe for Single Carb with with two Cylinder
      -homemade exhaust pipes
      -new gas tank mounts welded to fit YZ Gas Tank
      -new milled Motor Mounts top and front
      -Motor cover under frame
      -contacless electric ignition
      -other starter wheel (the original one is piece of shit you hear this at the beginning of the video)
      total building time abaout a year
      I have done a lot of pictures, have to do a documentary about this from beginning to end.

    Is the stock electric starter used on this bike or did you find a much lighter replacement?

      The stock electric starter is used but with lithium batterie for more power. In the Video you can hear the rumbling of the starter cogs until they have no contact. I replaced the starter cog with a better one for smooth starting without damaging the crogs. The ignitions runs also on the Batterie. So there is no alternator mounted.

      it is a Yamaha YZ 400 Tank from 1976, Front Fork Yamaha YZ 125 1983, Rear and Front Fender ACERBIS, Modified XS650 Frame from 1976
