3 more - that box will pay for 20 more - no way that Serialized will go for anything less than 10-20k - about 1 in 5000 collector pack odds
@@adamclark9174 If you think there are that many people in MTG that will pay that much for serialized, you're incorrect. This will be about $2000. The better the number, the higher the cost, but from people I've talked to, the floor seems to be about $2000. Even the /4 and such cards are not commanding tens of thousands.

The odds are, based upon some napkin math by a BAN member is one in every 175 boxes, per each 125K of the print run. So, if the print run is 125K, it's 1 in 175 CBB's. If the print run is 500K, its one in 700 CBB's. Since we do not know the actual print run, this is the best that can be done.

It may not be his card. It belongs to his business. If it's an LLC, the card is his. If it's a corp, then transfer of ownership is more involved.

At least somebody opened a good box of modern horizons three. All the boxes we opened were garbage.
My boc had a foil etched emrakul, a foil borderless non serial ulamog and 5 fetches. There are definitely bad boxes but ive personally seen some great ones. Obviously never like this tho. Crazy.

The one thing that sucks about this is, you know the odds of pulling serialized from this store's inventory just went to zero. That's gotta be rough for anyone watching this who pre-ordered from them.
Actually we get our boxes from 4 different distributors, so there's boxes from at least 4 different pallets, there's still a great chance for our customers to get another one.

Pringles are not a defect. It is completely reversible. It's a total non issue.
Unless, of course, you are ignorant and refuse to learn new things.

@@clearasil11 First we need to understand the cause of pringling/tenting. The cause of pringling/tenting is water absorption/loss from the paper. The foiled side of the card is sealed, meaning no water can be absorbed or evaporated from that side. This means it cannot stretch or shrink as water is absorbed or evaporates from the paper.
Keeping this in mind, take the card and lay it on the table so the front (foil) face lies upward. If the card creates a tent, that means that means water has evaporated from the card, and the back side has shrunk. Since the front can't shrink, it pulled in toward the shrinking side. This means that the climate where you live is drier than the climate in which the paper was manufactured. To fix this, put it in an area of the house that is more humid. The bathroom will work, so long as the card will not be damaged. It is important to note that you must not sleeve the card in any way.
If the card curls upward, like a pringle, then the card has absorbed too much water, and the back side swelled up. The front can't stretch to match it, and your climate is more humid than the manufacturing plant's climate. To fix this, you need to put it into a drier climate to let the water evaporate out. It's harder to find a drier climate, but it can be done. Obtain a waterproof box, put some oxygen absorber in it, and seal the card in with them. Again, do not sleeve the card.
Check on the card every day until it is straight enough to your satisfaction. At this point, double sleeve the cards. Do not open the box if you are dehumidifying a card until it is finished drying out, you are exposing the now dried air to replacement by new, humid air, and your oxygen absorbers now have to start all over again.
My foil cards will always tent, because I live in the US western desert. The water evaporates out of the open back of my cards and since the front cannot shrink equally, they tent really badly. A little exposure to humidity, and they go right back to straight, the way they should, and I find double sleeving them seals them enough it's not been a problem. Any foil cards I order that arrive already straight, I double sleeve immediately, and I have never had an issue.
In the desert, I have had no problems with nonfoils, nor have I had any problems with double sided foils.

WOTC are purposely trying to gouge their audience by allowing sellers to make their own MSRP lol, they don’t deserve that respect.
Imagine paying the premium for this box for your foils to still be bent as shit and some cards being cemeteries terribly.

i want to. I prefer an honest critique to all the other RUclipsrs who mostly tell you how awesome everything about this product is and start asking if the box prices will go up? They only generate childish hype and FOMO, which sucks. The price point is barely digestible already...
Just an opinion, but it really brings down the excitement of new openings when you complain the entire time. Try to atleast hide it rather than just dog it the nonstop. But that's just my opinion.

How is it unfair? There's a reason stores get these early. They need to open them so on Friday morning you get met with rows of shiny cards. Otherwise, they'd have to tell you, 'Sorry, we weren't allowed to open any packs, so we have nothing for you. Maybe Monday!?
It's not like they get to know all the cards before you do, or gain any kind of unfair advantage over you. They just get to be prepared for dumb idiots like you who have zero economic or free market knowledge.
Do you complain about retail stores having all the latest video games days and weeks before you can buy them, too?
