Also, Jimmy has won 4 awards- a Kid's Choice Award, a People's Choice Award, and 2 Shorty Awards- and that's it. His generosity of spirit is largely only noticed by the RUclips community and those whose lives he changes. He hasn't received any Nobel prizes or any other largely noteworthy awards of any kind, in spite of his work in Africa, paying for 1,000 deaf people and 1,000 blind (or near-blind) people to receive the benefits of new medical technology and procedures to restore their lost senses, his work rebuilding homes in the US after tornadoes, or his work with Team Trees and Team Seas, working with other creators and non-profits, planting over 24.5 million trees (and counting) and cleaning over 33 million pounds of trash (and counting) out of the ocean, while also working himself with his team and volunteers to clean the most polluted beach on the planet.
He deserves more than entertainment awards.

On his Beast Philanthropy channel he actually did bring electricity to a village in Africa using solar energy!
Lets remember he has also provided work for all those people installing everything. So its not just the community its the wider populous
The reason he has become so succesful is because his intent is pure, from the very beginning he was giving away and wanted to make to give it away. Awesome dude.
What Jimmy does is insanely unbelievable. I don't know how he does it and to think that he has more impact than several governments put together is crazy. Don't forget that these countries he's reaching out to have elected government with enough resources to take care of their own people, but do they have the will? Do they have the burning concern for their people's welfare? No! Jimmy is a gift to humanity.

Mr. Beast lives about 2 miles from me in Eastern, North Carolina. He is a wonderful man. Everyone loved him till they found out he was a Christian, then some people bashed him. He is a gift to the world. Thanks
I already like him immensely when I learned of his generosity. I didn't know he was a Christian. I like him even more.
As an African and Kenyan I am touched by his kindness. Governments forget people who live in the rural area and it is so important that they are seen as they are the majority on the continent
This man needs a humanitarian award of some kind for this alone.
My son, a Rough Terrain Wildland Firefighter, has a satellite linked device that can pinpoint water sources including underground wells. I don’t know if it only works with mapped sources, or since satellites can see heat sources, maybe they can also detect water sources.

I binge watched all Mr Beasts old videos in 2020 when I discovered him, kept me busy and happy during COVID, and his videos keep getting better and better. His philanthropy channel is really charitable.

They are less of the classic wells we know, and more of boreholes ... More narrow and deeper, and with a pump at the bottom to bring the water to the surface.
I swear if mr beast doesn’t get a Nobel piece prize-
MrBeast is a perfect example of someone who lives by rule 303, i.e. he has the means and the opportunity to address problems, so he does. It's nice to see him using his platform to enact, actual, meaningful changes.
If you drill deep enough you can find water almost anywhere. They were using some mega equipment there.

I love what he's doing there. The only issue is maintenance. For example the well with solar panels. Those panels need replacing now and then. But again, what he's doing is really amazing.

Most of his charity work goes directly to the communities and people he's trying to help.

I think a lot of people.... didn't even realize there is water all over Africa, it's just untapped. hopefully many think differently now.
They have geologists do a study of the are and do taps to test for water but ultimately it takes knowledge of how rocks, soil and water interact to be able to guess where they might find it then they test with small pipes to see how deep they have to go to get to the water.
Africa has a special place in everyone's heart It's our homeland for sure !

From what I've heard the governments (at least Kenya that I know of), are angry at Jimmy because he made them look bad by doing this. In his ONE trip he did more for those people than most charities or the governments themselves have done in the last couple decades.

Mr.Beast is our NEW HERO ! While we only are currently able to assist a few families in Kenya , Tanzania and Jamaica we one day hope to do as much as Mr.Beast has done ! The governments of Africa are swayed too easily from $$$ ( USA govt too ) and influence from China & Russia ! Keep Africa for Africans ! The Big Modern Cities of many African Nations are impressive & the electrical grids in the cities mostly ok ,& there is much wealth ! But the rural areas need this help to fight malaria , water borne illness , fund better medical care , fund education and provide reliable solar power so all may benefit from better lives. Climate change is already having huge negative impacts in Africa that most of the West is blind too ! From droughts to the current severe floods in East Africa & more !! Africans should not have to leave Africa to find a better life ! Imagine if all Rich people did as much good as Mr.Beast ! Do Not forget to support your LOCAL Boys & Girls Clubs in the USA as many American kids need a helping hand too ! One Love

I'm from south africa. So in Rural areas is most where there are challenges with municipal or government tap water. So a lot of households have drilled water and it Is actually a common thing and it is more inexpensive for even in the long run and as also you don't pay any water bills.

it's simple there is water underneath almost everywhere. At some spots you have to dig deeper but sometimes you just have to dig down multiple times. But like maybe a few hundred meters away from the original spot or something and you find water most likely or it can be less or the same distance but a different direction. Finding water underground is not hard at all if you have modern tools that can dig super deep and fast and can dig down 3-5 times. For example we got 2 wells recently and the guy who made it was just like: ok no water on first dig he walked 20 meters tried there,digged deeper and there was water there.
This is all about LOVE.
I would love to see Mr Beast do something about The great green wall of Africa.
I have a bit of a HOT take. Even if he did brag about what he does. Even if he didn't put in the extra work to learn what they go through. Even if his motivations were completely self serving, it's the actions themselves that matter. What he does is a miracle and a blessing, and even if he was a douchebag about it that doesn't change that what he's doing is great.
I argue that a monster doing great things is just as valuable as a hero doing the same. We may like the hero more because they are humble and go one step further, but if the monster is still getting the job done they aren't any less important.

Denmark and Scandinavia here. One of the reasons why we are rich, have an excellent infrastructure and seem to get things done fast and efficient has actually to do with the cold weather, that force you to keep active and makes you less tired and less "lazy", unlike the heat. So it has nothing to do with the color of skin, though obviously white people live in colder and darker places, because that is how nature is.
In fact, you can see how this works in "white" Europe, because Scandinavians are the most active, wealthy and efficient, then the European countries get less active, less rich and less efficient the more south you go, because of the heat.
Understanding that 99% of charities are corrupt in one way or another and the fact that government spending is ridiculous they would never help. Jimmy boiled it down to bartering for bulk in materials and doing alot of the work themselves.
1:33 back in the day people would do what is called Water divination or dowsing.
They’d take a forked stick and “balance” it loosely. Where it was naturally attracted towards the ground is most likely the best place to dig for water.
I’ve seen versions these days where people use empty pop bottles (which they balance and where they fall… you get it) 😅
But to be honest… there are now gadgets that measure the likelihood of underground water. The engineer who surveyed the borehole site for my parents used both the old and the gadget method (just to make sure) 🤣

Ironically it's people from different African governments (aka the people that are payed billions of dollars to fix these problems yet haven't) and somebody from the FACE Africa organization that focuses on building wells and stuff like this was mad because he ACTUALLY did it while they didn't and they were complaining that if they got money then they would get the credit which makes it clear all they care about is wanting to get credit for things.

Africa has a very large aquifer ocean of fresh water but u need to dig kilometers deep. For power on that mountain well site, it seems that it's very windy at the edge at the top of the mountain. They could build vertical wind turbines to catch the mountain side upwind draft to generate that electricity and needs a cluster of storage batteries to make a basic power grid.

What I have been hearing that Mr Beast is getting backlash for helping Africa. The government did not like a white male to help their problems and they wanted to do it on their own, but just except the help I want to see everybody go in the future and continue not to fight each other all the time you should just be grateful for what people are giving you doesn’t matter of the color of the skin
