Growing up in Africa and being fortunate enough to have water and basic necessities, this broke my heart and made me cry. All of this is because of corrupt governments who do not care about their people
What's crazy about this video is that he did all this within a months time but the leaders there couldn't do anything to help.
And more crazy about this is there're a lot of African-Americans RUclipsrs that are also successful in life and don't even think helping the unfortunate in Africa
AND THE SADDEST PART IS THAT THESE YOUNG KIDS WILL GROW UP THINKING A WHITE MAN IS A SAVIOR
@@jomariebelen2374 well if they aren't from Africa they likely don't care. Just because some of their ancestors were there doesn't mean they feel a need to move back to said homeland and fix it especially if they were born in America where they don't have to do much harder work.

The sad truth is most politicians over there pocket the money for themselves, many parts of Africa run rampant with corruption, in the grand scheme of things, Mr. Beast isn't even that rich, I don't think he's even a billionaire, so with only a few million bucks, he built 100 wells, and even built solar power plants for some of these villages, imagine what billionaires could do and they don't.
Jimmy really was the right choice for the RUclips community to elevate to the heights of success; he doesn't squander it and only try to grab onto more and more and more and more. He uses it actively to help more and more people as his influence and his partnerships grow, globally. Mr. Beast is, to this day, the best example of how to do it RIGHT when you get big. Right up there with Keanu Reeves.

it costs under 10k to drill and build a well. There's no reason why governments couldn't have done this at any time. You also have to question where all the Christian missionary money is going and why none of these charities are doing this.
thats why I believe it’s a good thing he films this, because it gives some accountability to where the money is actually going and the results it provides.

Students in africa sometimes have an enthusiasm to learn you dont see in the west, the african student population has been rising in the uk, one of the smartest people i ever met was from kenya.
Back in the 40s when my Grandaddy was a kid, his family was poor. Middle of Appalachia, no indoor plumbing poor. Even then, they still had a well that gave them access to clean water. It's sad that there are places out there that don't even have that. I'm happy to see someone actively doing something about it instead of just using a # or changing their pfp.

When he first got some real money,he bought the $1000 shirts and so forth because he thought that is what he “should” do. Then his house got robbed. He said it was a relief. So what you see is what you get pretty much. T-shirts and casual pants. Except for a love of fancy cars, he’s very down to earth.

It doesn't cost that much to drill a well & set up gravity fed lines. Maybe $1500 USD. So why didn't the Gov or NGOs do it? He did basic low maintenance wells. So they don't have to worry about costs to fix the wells. MR.B. MADE A LOT OF PEOPLE WITH MILLIONS LOOK BAD. THAT'S WHY THEY'RE MAD.... They should be ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES...
Many people are missing the point. His intention is maybe to help or to perpetuate the stereotype of Africans as unable to help themselves or both. Africans are hated and discriminated against all over the world because of these charities that are actually a drop in the ocean but does a lot of damage. If the intention is only te help Africans, why not also help other people in other parts of the world who have the same problem of lack of clean water and other issues? There are people in Asia, Latin America etc. that are poor and without acess to clean water. So all of a sudden, the white people like Africans more than other people in the world. We know that is not the case judging by the racism towards Africans in western soceities. Why not give Africans 30 wells, Asians 40 wells and Latin America 30 wells? Why is Africa the only place they will be doing this kind of charity?

Where the fuck has the money that me and millions of others like me have donated over the years gone? It took Mr Beast less than a month to provide CLEAN WATER to half a million Africans.. I have donated atleast 5 grand in my short 30 years of life and it only cost 10 grand total to drill and get wells into these Villages????

Denmark and Scandinavia here. One of the reasons why we are rich, have an excellent infrastructure and seem to get things done fast and efficient has actually to do with the cold weather, that force you to keep active and makes you less tired and less "lazy", unlike the heat. So it has nothing to do with the color of skin, though obviously white people live in colder and darker places, because that is how nature is.
In fact, you can see how this works in "white" Europe, because Scandinavians are the most active, wealthy and efficient, then the European countries get less active, less rich and less efficient the more south you go, because of the heat.
Africa has plenty of money to put wells and electricity everywhere but people in charge are greedy

How is Mr Beast a "colonizer" ? Kenya became independent from Britain in 1963, 60 years ago, and Mr Beast is 24, and an American. And if you watch the whole of the original video, it shows projects he has done in other African countries. And Africa is not the only place in which he is doing good things.

Africa is a poor continent. Even South Africa is considered third world. They have rolling blackouts of 6 hours per day because their power grid is so old. African leaders do not care about their people. Some times outsiders have to come in and try to help.

You’re seeing it from a negative perspective. Reality is it’s an exploited continent and locals have no access to resources to do much of anything.
These wells alone are unrealistically expensive for any local.
Not only is it an exploited continent from the past but also present by world corporations and governments.
The governments in the African countries themselves also exploit. No funding. On top of that the crime as well.
Not enough educational funding. No trades. No resource access. No infrastructure. No leadership. No proper foundation.
