I love that the bikes have extended seats, it means each bike can carry an extra passenger. I remember sitting on the back of the bike a lot when I was child when my dad or one of my relatives were going places.
Some of the hate I’ve seen for Jimmy is people saying that it makes the African people look helpless, that they are to be pitied. For me personally, I find these people, even the small children, as admirable people to look up to- not pity!
They are strong, they have values, they are kind, generous and hard working. They take care of what they have, as well as having goals for their futures, taking their studies seriously, taking their responsibilities seriously.
How many American children skip school, don’t apply themselves, or drop out? I didn’t drop out, but I’m guilty of skipping classes and not applying myself.
They take care of their land, their families and their animals.
They walk miles just to get to school for the opportunity to learn. Yet we’re (including myself) are lazy and take things for granted.
That’s just a few points I wanted to make to say why it upsets me that some people are saying Mr. Beast’s acts of generosity makes Kenyans look helpless and to be pitied. I myself find these incredible people as ones to look up to and learn from.
The people who are hating on Mr. Beast are just miserable and jealous. They are the ones to pity.
The question you should ask is: Where did all the money/all the donations go over the last decades? All these "help organisations" and governments raised so much money for Africa. What did they do with the money? And why do the governments in Africa seem not interested in doing this (building wells...) by themselves?

Even better to show work in progress or completed so that people can see where their money goes or the types of projects and quality that they can expect. That’s how a well ran philanthropy works. With the advent of social media it just gets quality video out to a larger audience faster and quicker.

The youngest of these countries, by 20 years, is Zimbabwe, all others are 60 years old, you might think that within 60 years their governments would´ve been able to do something for the basic needs of people, but it didn´t happen.
And then some "aspiring" politicians (aka "some people") make their misplaced pride the center of attantion of this story.
I am german, and when WW2 Ended my Grandparents, like so many germans, welcomed the foreign soldiers that fought in it and helped keep the battered post WAr Germany safe.
After all that happened, they just swallowed their pride and shame about it and were THANKFUL.
Yet some politicians and Activists as well as privileged nobodies on twatter get mad that this man takes his money and does some way overdue good with it.
It´s quite frankly disgusting!

I love this but am a bit disturbed by the fact I know of 1 of many charities in the uk that has raised money for “this” for 30 years along with others and the government have donated resulted in billions being sent for this and nothing was done yet 1 man with millions not even hundreds of millions has and I know multiple other European countries do the same so what has happened to the billions that were meant to help I makes me think of how many people would have been helped and possible the amount of people who would still be alive if the money actually helped people
If you guys find an address to send supplies to donate, would you share it with us? I have a lot of clothes I could donate. I saw a lot of torn little dresses on those children. I have friends with kids. Id rather send these hard working people my things than send them to my local consignment shop. I don’t have an income right now, but I live in an expensive small town. Id rather have my things go to someone who appreciates it than some rich lady who might never wear it and throw it away.
