This was amazingly helpful! Thank you for doing this! Starting my native cottage garden & I was lost on how to start planting everything-now I feel like I have a footing!
Oh I'm so happy to read this, thank you for taking the time to leave a comment! I am glad you found this helpful, I was so overwhelmed when I first started landscaping with native plants but now that I have my process down it's been so much fun!
This was brilliant, Anna. I started my native gardens two years ago and they look like I got drunk and scattered seeds everywhere (to be honest, that’s probably accurate), but the bees don’t seem to mind. Native plants are a journey of discovery. Even scattered gardens are far more beautiful than lawn. Keep it up! I’m hoping to visit when we’re camping on Elk Lake next month.
There are soo many different styles of native gardens you can try, and a wild meadow approach is still fantastic for the bees and humans alike! Thank you for watching 🌸
I love it when clients have colors they really like that I can bring into the garden.
Agreed! Show me those Pinterest boards! Hope you've had a great season this year :)

I love this! Extremely well done and makes it so much easier to visualize these types of garden designs with our native plants we love so much.
Thank you!! This was my favorite design of the summer, sooo much time went into the planning process. I can't wait to post an update next summer!
This is so helpful, thank you from a newbie cottage gardener! ❤
