I'd put a bed in there. You wouldn't imagine the places I've managed to squeeze beds into at Nordhagen. There's so little space because half the settlement is taken up with a Space Launch platform.
the thing i loved most about megaton was how the foundations of the houses were essentially the houses were bellow them i hope thats what youre gonna try and do, also inside the castle walls you could make a kinda slum area similar to the slums down in riften in skyrim
this build is coming along quite well. honestly, I've been quite confused about what your mid tier was going to be like, but I can kind of imagine what it will be a bit better based of this. I'm excited to see what you do with what space you do have available.

I'd like to see a mod that makes settlers freakin' relax and stop playing musical chairs every time there's a place for them to sit down. Do they have to try every single freakin' chair? Really?

He's a content creator. While I want him to have fun and I think his builds are lovely to look at, he should also accommodate his viewership. He does timelapses when he builds for the same reason.
By that logic maybe he shouldn't use mods at all to acconmodate those that aren't. It's up to him how he does his builds ans as you say, anything he does with glitches can be done with Place anywhere so it doesn't make a difference for the viewer if he uses the glitches, even making it better for those that doesn't use mods like that to copy his builds if they want to
