When I fought sephiroth he rushed aerith at one point and I freaked out and blocked his attack with cloud. She actually said "Were you worried about me?" 😳
@@Sagarderian「 空。。。嫌いだな」just means "I hate the sky." Or more literally, "The sky... I hate it." Your translation takes a few random liberties, like "as I thought."
FF7 remake, the retold tale of aerith and tifa trying to keep cloud straight while sephiroth attempts repeatedly to seduce him with the power of his kissy lips.
It's optional, I got Barret instead on hard playtrough! Its based on the chapter 8 and 9 actions! and all the dressing stuff. Also in the sewers, you can pick tifa instead of aerith Basically, don't give aerith any love, and Barret will show up then hahahaha It's the same as affinity relations in others rpgs
Sanctuario Gamer it’s actually a point system for when you are fighting the harbinger certain things you do during the fight can have a character gain points. You get points for using an ability/spell/item, using a limit break, reducing any whispers health to 0 and staggering them, or finishing of whisper Bahamut or whisper Harbinger. The number of points obtained are different for every character but in a way you can have whoever you want to fight alongside Cloud for the Sephiroth fight.
The answer is often wind for sephiroth also you can counter everything the throws at you with well times blocks and counter stance. Use chakra for easy no mp cost healing. Can use mp absorption spells. Parry materia deadly dodge materia and many other purple ability materia for advantages. Dont select comands for your part members by switching to them. While blocking with someone use your triggers to pause time and activate non active player abilities so they can land and not be countered by sephiroths deadly attention. The best trick is to use cloud blocking activate party abilities while still in control of cloud use chakra to heal with atb and steadfast block to allow more atb charge for blocking. so the ap of party members is staggering him. And clouds is mean for control.
Broken Lord Of Cinder there is multiple versions of omnislash tho, sephiroth actually blocks the original omnislash in AC stabbing cloud in his shoulder to counter. The omnislash that finishes him ends up being a newer improved version, As OP mentioned sephiroth blocked this omnislash implying this seph has knowledge of the events that occur all through ff7 to AC
Oh my god. This isn't just any Sephiroth. This is Sephiroth from the future! The guy we have always fought in the old games. That's why he absolutely trumped Cloud's Omnislash at the end, where in a similar scene in the old games with him shirtless we actually beat him with the Ommislash. Yet here Sephiroth blocked every blow, as if he had already experienced it. Just... Holy shit this game!
Sephiroth is part of the lifestream. He exists in the planet's very essence, and shown off by this entire game, it's entire history. Sephiroth literally reloaded his save with all the experience of future scenarios.
This Sephiroth is LITERALLY future Sephiroth, the one Cloud has beaten multiple times (may be the one we see in the movie too). He is literally reshaping the history of FF7...
Cloud: Come on, Sephiroth. Let's do this. Sephiroth: Defeating you like this, has no meaning. Heal your wounds Cloud, get strong. After that we'll settle the matter. *Flaps his black wing and flies upwards, but before he goes* Thank you, Aerith.
This is the most wholesome playthrough I ever seen. With channels filled with fake reactions, distractions by chat or the viewers, this is so real and pure. Even after I finished the game I watched the whole thing since I couldn't catch the stream. Thanks Max.
Yea, a geniune fan and able to show it with passion. Some streamers cant even stay focused on the game since they kept checking their chat every 5 seconds.
Yup, and the only being choked up is for all the right reasons...not just crying at random bits of dialogue where characters are just talking. It's always refreshing to see genuine appreciation/love and not someone jumping on a bandwagon.
My favorite part of this whole sequence is the very end where cloud duels at the edge of creation. It’s an exact short for shot recreation of the final dual from FF7 OG, except sephiroth now anticipates his every move and blocks every omnislash blow before telling him “not yet”. He’s seen it all before. The value from subsequent play throughs is awesome in this game. So many layers.
Also, at the opposite of the original scene where we faces Sephiroth, camera goin' behind the shoulder of Cloud... We were put behind Sephiroth's shoulder this Time. Minor change, but might be though too.
In the original translation, he is saying closer to "not enough" which changes the contexts of the fight. interestingly “but what will you do with it" line is quite different to the Japanese line where he says ”but we can still make it in time, the future is up to you, cloud.”
Yeah they can add all this and say, conceptually that this all existed. PS1 was limited compared to what we have now for storytelling. Other platform releases expanding the story, allowing for the remake to piece it together. The OG ending Cloud mentions his understanding, from the planet, that he can meet her... there. A sign that Cloud had a vision, we just have a lot more now. Cloud coincindetally showing up at Shinra HQ with Avalanche the same time Sephiroth did, while Cloud was convinced that he was dead. Now we can say that the whispers were the reason why everything lined up so perfectly. In the OG we just played the outcome of failing at defeating Whisper Harbinger. As Red XIII points out the vision of him, "what happens tomorrow if we fail." It can still happen, OG ending = bad ending now. We get an opportunity to expand on what else might happen. Which is sick! Any more exposure to this world and these characters. Milk me all you want Squenix, I am just super grateful we got a remake. What would have been interesting is if they implemented a one chance fight at the Whisper Harbingers, if you fail, our save data continues on through the releases to the OG ending. And if we beat them we get what we are getting now.

@@akly1379 1:02:54 Sephiroth casts lightning infusion and then a few moments later right after he casts ATB Ward with Aerith he casts thundaga and it heals him
My brain exploded during this fight because Max hit Sephiroth with thunder during Thunder Infusion and healed him for like 2k. Then he goes Fire Infusion and then immediately Max summons Ifrit. He was actually super lucky that Sephiroth almost immediately went Wind Infusion.
1:09:13 I love how cloud got smacked to the right and then immediately smacked to the left XD I don't know why I love that so much but it made me laugh
I find it hilarious because of the camera angle lmao. I also lost my shit when Cloud got thrown the first time and Aerith just gracefully spins to left to avoid his collision.
Yeah I think the point of the ending was that they fought fate/destiny itself to change the events of the first game. This makes sense because multiple times in the story Aerith had premonitions of the future, such as when she gave directions to a place she’d never been to, or when she knew tifas name before she even had met her. T I M E T R A V E L
Stuff like this is so fucking epic when done right. I never played the original so just learning about everything surrounding the story and the ending, holy hell, this is a masterpiece. Can't wait for part 2
My theory is that Sephiroth wants a do-over. Think about it; he would’ve totally won if he didn’t kill Aerith. How he actually DID it though I have no clue. How he was able to go back in time is super unclear to me but what is clear is he dragged Aerith with him. Maybe not intentionally though. Or maybe she’s just that attuned with the planet and the planet is helping guide her to the truth of it? Either way it’s SO much more interesting than a shot for shot remake.
Something that strikes me as interesting is that, when Cloud refuses to help Sephiroth, Sephiroth looks actually frustrated for a moment. He's always been cool and composed, even when slaughtering people. It makes me think that he might honestly need Cloud's help and yet doesn't understand how to express it. He, a person who cast aside his humanity and all such connections, has to reach out to someone else.
I’m still very curious as to why he needs Cloud on his side at all. I guess that alone is proof that it’s not the original timeline Sephiroth, since that Sephiroth didn’t give a shit about Cloud, besides his Jenova cells I guess.
@@huzino7716 Thats the Thing. He can only control him. Only him. Not the others as it seems they might also be Sephiroth but… Cloud is the Key for him to… i dont know how to say it… do more more Things. Thats why. Why exactly? Is another Question i dont know the Answer. It could have to do with the Fact that Sephiroth has a deeper Conection to him then to anyone else. But it could also be the Fact that he has a deeper Connection to Aerith. (We already know that he needs Cloud to get him the Black Materia later but there is more to that after that too i think). (The Chapters from A Way to a Smile did bring me to the conclusion that Sephiroth can be himself as long as Cloud lives. Thats why he „needs him“. Or as he said in this Game. „Run Cloud. You need to Live“)
FINALLY, someone else who caught that as well. I’m not sure what Sephiroth was trying to convey or what he truly wants out of it, but he seemed, for that moment, he was genuinely disappointed.
@Split Dimension idk anything about ff7, but in one of the couple top comments, someone said the 7 seconds was the amount time Sephiroth took to kill Aerith. They go more in depth about it with timelines and stuff. It should be easy to find it.
@@Shephchan I'm actually quite afraid if we get a too much "happy ending" with everyone alive in the end. Like yeah i wanna see aerith survive and see zack be happy with her and get to have more interaction with cloud. even angeal and genesis would be cool to see. but will that still hold the original message and the power the original story had ? I'm not against having something completely different than the original game, i'm not that nostalgic over it since i've played it for the first time only a few months ago. but it still had some reallly powerful scene and moments. I just hope nomura doesn't do us a kh3 where even sephiroth comes back from the dark side and regain his sanity/ control over jenova. or worse, that they make jenova the main antagonist, put her into a body and give her a voice. that would just ruin her character as an alien parasite and the mistery around her powers. (kinda remind me of "the thing" from John carpenter in some ways) Or making shinra the main ennemy. In the end, I'd rather see aerith die again for a good plot (like something we change our fate so this has some impact, but there are some things that needs to happen and some things that even WE can't control and have to accept) rather than having her survive but it's some bad fanfic level bullshit. Did anyone notice the part when Sephiroth knocks Cloud’s sword out of his hand, it lands in the same way (in the same rocks) as the New Game / Continue screen? Just a nice little nod.
5 months late reply but here. That which lies beyond does not yet exist. The edge of creation, where this story may begin; The edge of creation, where you may choose to end it.
It would've been funny if they walked through the portal and just got spat back out of the portal and didn't go anywhere because Sephiroth was just trolling everyone.
I always get mesmerized by the way the handled the music in this game. It gives so many cues. And specially in this final segment the music tells so many stories it is crazy. Like the way they meld Aerith and Sephiroth's themes before they enter the portal, as a way to show Aerith's struggling to protect the party from Sephiroth. It is really intense.
@Split Dimension most definitely! It is jawdropping to see how much care was put into every single part of this game. Really shows the love, passion and dedication of the team and respect for the source material, specially given that the core devs all returned. The OG FFVII was known for its themes having a lot of texture and being powerful tools to set tones, and they pumped that to eleven in the Remake, thanks to Hamauzu and Suzuki fantastic job on the arrangement, breathing new life to Uematsu original pieces.
I'd love to see a breakdown and in depth analysis or essays on the music of FF7 just as there have been for Dancing Mad. Just to get the juicy in depth details hiding in the music. Who knows, maybe more info from there will provide more Insight, open our eyes and get us even more levels in then the current Lv 4 we're at. @@darthcerebus basically confirming the theory that, Sephiroth in the Remake is from the future. He came back from death, used the Lifestream to travel back time, and then change his course of actions so that his plans will succeed this time in new timeline
I think my favorite part of the Sephiroth fight is that we were getting a remix of the theme, until Aerith came in. As soon as she showed up, the classic One Winged Angel starts pumping through the speaker.
1:02:21 Yeah, when he shows up his one wing the actual One-Winged Angel theme starts. I was just going to comment that, I'm happy that someone else noticed it!
it depends by the choices of the player who goes in at that part. So he doesn't reall matter if it's Aerith or others, one thing tho, is that when Sephiroth is fighting against thee three and he attacks Aerith he says "Ahhh, the memories...". He knows... (edit, it's not just with Aerith, he says that randomly even with Cloud or others)
you've got to pump it up, you've got to pump it up, you've got to pump it up, you've got to pump it up, you've got to pump it up, you've got to pump it up, you've got to pump it up
Sephiroth's animations during this fight are so damn good. You can see the after images of the sword swings when they multi hit & his parries against Cloud's attacks flow so smoothly.
And what's funny is that in reality for me it was one of (if not the easiest final boss fights) in FF history. I didn't even see a game over screen. For the first time ever in a FF game I beat the final boss in one try.

I'm so glad Max enjoyed this as much as he did. As an OG FF7 person myself, I'm EXTREMELY happy with everything that is going on, and am EXTREMELY excited to see where things go. It's no longer "I know what's going to happen and I can see it in high-def!! :D", I'm back in the childlike wonder of not knowing what's happening next in FF7.
I see alot of people acting like the original is sacred, and bashing the remake for not being an Actual remake. But people often remember things from their past, especially their childhood for being greater than it actually was. I love the original game as well, but it had plenty of flaws. The other thing people do is portrait SE as if they're doing everything possible JUST for MONEY, as if they didn't create the original game because they wanted to make money.
I love the defy destiny bit. It totally makes sense now, they can take the story where they like without backlash because that whole fight just changed the narrative completely! Its brilliant when you think about it. Obviously they'll keep the world the same but certain events will change or be entirely new which gives the remake a breath of fresh air instead of following steb by step from the OG.

That line where Aerith says ''Freedom, boundless, terrifying Freedom.... Like a never ending Sky'' she seems to be talking about the open world at first, the world without the plate above... but holy shit, she knows that once the Plot ghosts die there won't be anymore fate nor watches to rely on. what I mean by this is that we're shown several times throughout the game that these things kept the party on-track and alive (like saving aerith from falling down at the church, or literally resurrecting Barret and the most obvious for me: saving Tifa, Aerith, Barret and Red from crashing in to the chopper that cloud takes down on the highway) she knows that beyond that wall, there's no guarantee the party will be safe. and for all we know, the original script of the game where everyone dies might now be a reality
I'm wondering if those Arbiters were their future selves. The one's that return, but from a darker fate. XV went berserk when Noctis's form was the Bahamut at the end... This ending, this game absolutely destroyed everything the original story stood for and what made it so good. There’s no feeling of impending doom, no atmosphere, nobody dies, there’s just no weight to anything. It’s just cookie-cutter Disney time travel bullcrap again. This game had it moments, it looks great but that’s all it has sadly. It feels so fake and forced mostly. This is what Sephiroth should be, terrifying, strong, charismatic with a bit of that insanity present. He's my favorite villain in FF and I'm excited to see what Square is going to do, the only issue I'm actually worried about is how they're going to top a fight like this
I predict, even if the sequels go 1 or 2 games, the last Sephiroth fight will be a dick-twistingly hard Safer Sephiroth. If they went this hard with plain one-winged angel Sephiroth, imagine how they'd go with Safer Sephiroth.
Wow, it just occurred to me that Zack really is alive in that timeline. I feel like the rain is an indication that he's dragging Cloud to Midgar at the moment he died in Crisis Core, because the rain started falling when he was dying, and I doubt it's a coincidence that they show him walking with Cloud toward the city when it's raining this time around. Might be subtle confirmation.
It has a different timeline, Aerith references earlier in the game that she remembers eating the whispers tell her when Zack died. It's almost like 2 timelines are in play.

It's what the Watchers were doing. They were trying to keep everything on track and because of everything going on between the main party and Sephiroth, fate and destiny were coming apart because of what Sephy was trying to do. And because of that, time was warped, and the 2 timelines became 1. Zack survived to bring Cloud to Midgar, and the remake's story still happened. The Watcher barrier being destroyed is what triggered the timelines becoming one, and Zack is now alive in 7. Back in 2005, I DREAMED of games one day looking entirely like a pre-rendered cutscene. I still can't believe IN-GAME engines now produces stuff better than Advent Children did back then. What a time.
The face Max makes when he hears the One winged angel theme start at around 56:08 is probably my favorite part of this whole walk through. The sudden thought of "I'm not suppose to be hearing this anytime soon"
@@jpteknoman nah, some people just isnt great at video game. Max is entertaining to watch but doesnt mean he is good at games(well except for maybe fighting game)
@@zzskyninjazz1821 One thing which I love about that. In this final Chapter Aerith says that you can hear Cries. So Barret was right about hearing the Planet crying
So, with the Ultimania out something came from it that leaved me with even more questions than before In FF7R, there are 4 Sephiroths, but even more than that, there is 1 detail that was lost in translation since there is no equivalent in english When someone refers to themselves they use "Ore" or "Watashi", the diference being the situation they are used, "Ore" is a more informal tone to use with more familiar people, "Watashi" is more formal but also more distant way of speaking Here is the thing, in Original FF7, before the Nibelheim Episode Sephiroth use "Ore" when refering to himself, after he would use "Watashi", and that remained a constant through all the compilation, and in FF7R is the same, all the Sephiroths use the "Watashi" when talking, all of them but 1, the Sephiroth at the Edge of Creation that talks to Cloud uses the "Ore" form of speach, also if you compare the way he speaks in that scene, it is criptic yes, but he is not being the usual mad man taunting of even the scene just before, he is being very calm about it, even when Cloud pointed his blade at him, that simle he gave wasnt the Advent Children like smile, at least it didnt felt like that to me, but the one of Crisis Core when he was against Genesis and Angeal
I've seen that info being passed around online, so I think a lot of English players are aware of it now, at least the ones who are active in following the news about this game. But even if you had no idea about that, the fact that Sephiroth is acting more sane/calm in this scene and doing something as wild as asking to team up with Cloud for something, at least to me, that indicates something was different about him here. When I played the game and saw this scene, I thought he was either giving Cloud a chance to be on his side and live through his Meteor plan basically, one chance before Sephiroth just decided he would have to kill or eliminate him. I guess he certainly could have just been 100% fucking with Cloud too. We're not gonna know until Part 2 comes out!
Without knowing about the translations until reading this, I thought something similar based on how he reacted to Clouds rejection. It's the only time he almost stopped smiling. Like he expected it but was also disappointed nonetheless. Not in an angry, mad way, but in a solemn way as if he knows something and actually sought real help for everyone's benefit but wasnt being heard or believed. And I could be entirely wrong but it just looked to me that something more was going on here. That this Sephiroth wasn't acting and working towards what we're used to. Even in how he responded to Aerith when she said he was wrong, he said "those that look with clouded eyes see nothing but shadows." One could interpret that as to say there might be something even Aerith isn't seeing because she, along with everyone else, is too used to just seeing him as pure evil. So yeah. Something else seems to be going on here other than just a repeat of Sephiroth planet destruction motivations
Interesting, new to the ff7 time line so I'm a little confused. Just finished ff7r and it was amazing. I did notice Sephiroths tone change at the end compared to when I was fighting him before. Good to know.
@@infinitemartialist I thought this too. After this scene part of me was left thinking, maybe the far future Seph is actually a good guy now, or at least trying to undo the damage he caused. I still think his ultimate motivations will turn out to be bad but maybe not so black and white this time. I'm relatively certain he is going to lead Cloud to change the events at the Forgotten City.
@@ggnorekthx Maybe not good but at least more balanced. I mean, it's stated in Advent Children he only stayed alive by focusing on his Cloud hate-boner, hence how obsessed he is in that movie. But hey, fun fact. In a sense, the first person to come into contact with the Whispers wasn't Aerith, but Lucretia, Sephiroth's mom. After Sephy was taken from her by Hojo, you'd think she'd try to get him back, what with her own connections to Shinra and a metric ton of Jenova juice powering her up (enough so that it literally won't let her die in FF7). But she doesn't because she is driven insane by visions of Sephiroth's future actions. That's right, visions of the future. Just like Aerith in remake. Maybe Sephy just wanted revenge for his true mother. He always was a mommy's boy.
When you play this game often times you don't read the name because you're so focused on fighting plus the text is small lol. I only knew because I assessed him when I played it
Not only did you make this battle look the most interesting with your struggling, but you kept clouds buster sword, which is a must for preserving the games aesthetic
I love how Sephiroth casts Supernova and just looks at the camera like “you know what this is 😏” EDIT: wow almost 500 likes 😳 also yes ik its not supernova, Ive already been informed lol
Hahaha. As soon as he casted it I was so terrified (I mean a boss gauntlet and then s big super boss gauntlet) i assume it was Supernova.....what with the BIG animation and him counting down (I got down to 4)
My take on all this is this: That vision we got at the end is more of a snapshot into a possible future given the events that played out at that moment in time. From there on out, the story will literally be in the hands of the player. The choice mechanic that popped up at certain points will be expanded in the next game to facilitate that. Every decision you make will influence future events meaning that some canon parts of the original might not even be there, reversed, or replaced with entirely new scenarios. So in the end, that little picture we got of the future might look radically different at the end.
I really hope this is the direction they go. I miss the old JRPGs like Ogre Battle that had 5+ endings. I don't need THAT many, but I'd love it if there were 2-3 different endings for FF7 Remake. My preferred ending would involve changing the events at the Forgotten City.
What I love about this game and it’s “fighting and changing destiny” is that we always dreamt that we could when playing the original game and it’s compilation. And now...20 years later, we’re finally getting that chance to fight and change the destiny of Aerith and Everyone. It’s not an exact replica of the OG game and some ppl might be mad about that, but it’s amazing. In my opinion.
I'm inclined to agree, while the OG game focused heavily on loss, this game is quite the opposite. We're still in the dark as to what's to come of course, but that's still a better shot than what we know was supposed to happen in the timeline.
I really do think Aerith needs to die though. It was such a huge moment in gaming it would be a shame to lose it. I wanna see it all happen in this remake
@@richardbarrett4537 they will definately change it. My guess is that aerith wont die where she died in the original. She ll live trough that. This gives the audience happyness and hope. And then, after they have give us the hope that we always wanted seeing aerith live, then they will kill her more towards the end. This way it Will be even more impactful that the original =)
@@user-kg4li5ge1c I agree, I very much believe that they're really pushing the sense of making you think that you can really change things and she lives. Yes, thank you so much.
I loved that scene alot im excited about whats to come
In the original translation, he is saying closer to "not enough" which changes the contexts of the fight. interestingly “but what will you do with it" line is quite different to the Japanese line where he says ”but we can still make it in time, the future is up to you, cloud.”

I mean I don't get it can't he just control clouds jenova cells ??

I'm really happy with the "Remake" Part 1, nervous because there are so many ways it can be handled poorly, but genuenly excited for the continuation.
Obviously they'll keep the world the same but certain events will change or be entirely new which gives the remake a breath of fresh air instead of following steb by step from the OG.

but holy shit, she knows that once the Plot ghosts die there won't be anymore fate nor watches to rely on.
what I mean by this is that we're shown several times throughout the game that these things kept the party on-track and alive (like saving aerith from falling down at the church, or literally resurrecting Barret and the most obvious for me: saving Tifa, Aerith, Barret and Red from crashing in to the chopper that cloud takes down on the highway)

@@MageBlinkan or it's just a flashback to show Zack and Cloud made it to Midgar and the party is actually in the timeline where Zack survived. My theory is that the party travelled through the portal on the highway and it took them to the alternate timeline where Zack lived.

It's what the Watchers were doing. They were trying to keep everything on track and because of everything going on between the main party and Sephiroth, fate and destiny were coming apart because of what Sephy was trying to do. The Watcher barrier being destroyed is what triggered the timelines becoming one, and Zack is now alive in 7. The question is, did Sephiroth do this on purpose to show Could that destiny is better off defied so he can get everyone to inadvertently help him defy his fate of always being stopped by Cloud so he can finally win?

In FF7R, there are 4 Sephiroths, but even more than that, there is 1 detail that was lost in translation since there is no equivalent in english
When someone refers to themselves they use "Ore" or "Watashi", the diference being the situation they are used, "Ore" is a more informal tone to use with more familiar people, "Watashi" is more formal but also more distant way of speaking
Here is the thing, in Original FF7, before the Nibelheim Episode Sephiroth use "Ore" when refering to himself, after he would use "Watashi", and that remained a constant through all the compilation, and in FF7R is the same, all the Sephiroths use the "Watashi" when talking, all of them but 1, the Sephiroth at the Edge of Creation that talks to Cloud uses the "Ore" form of speach, also if you compare the way he speaks in that scene, it is criptic yes, but he is not being the usual mad man taunting of even the scene just before, he is being very calm about it, even when Cloud pointed his blade at him, that simle he gave wasnt the Advent Children like smile, at least it didnt felt like that to me, but the one of Crisis Core when he was against Genesis and Angeal
Even in how he responded to Aerith when she said he was wrong, he said "those that look with clouded eyes see nothing but shadows."
One could interpret that as to say there might be something even Aerith isn't seeing because she, along with everyone else, is too used to just seeing him as pure evil.
1:19:56 Just seeing one-winged Sephiroth standing there.... epic!
Mega flare was the dead give away that it's bahamut? I thought the dead give away is that it's literally named whisper bahamut lol
RIGHT?!
When you play this game often times you don't read the name because you're so focused on fighting plus the text is small lol. I only knew because I assessed him when I played it
I knew it was bahamut pretty much immediately I mean it looks like him just with a weird colour scheme.
I didn't really have time to think about his name because I was getting my ass beat.
@Zero Calamity huh?
1:02:39 is it just me, or might that be the pointiest sword ever rendered in a video game ever? I feel like I cut myself just looking at it
Are you sure you didn't? *double checking Sephiroth didn't manage to stab her through the fourth wall*
Not only did you make this battle look the most interesting with your struggling, but you kept clouds buster sword, which is a must for preserving the games aesthetic
To be fair clouds buster sword is still very viable late game
buster is necessary
I love how Sephiroth casts Supernova and just looks at the camera like “you know what this is 😏”
EDIT: wow almost 500 likes 😳 also yes ik its not supernova, Ive already been informed lol
can someone shows the footage if the countdown ends? im pretty sure that's a supernova
@Overlord Of Derp the countdown should be supernova, i am sure that the big sun behind is the supernova
I kinda wanted to let it happen just to see it...
Hahaha. As soon as he casted it I was so terrified (I mean a boss gauntlet and then s big super boss gauntlet) i assume it was Supernova.....what with the BIG animation and him counting down (I got down to 4)
The attack is called divine proclamation, he summons a meteor and if the timer reaches 0 he will drop it causing an immediate game over
Sephiroth never looks like he’s ever trying 😭😂
Fooly yup nothing phases him that smug attitude and confidence 😂 I love it
Sephy aint no try-hard xD
That's because he isn't & there's plot reason behind it
Dr Coomer go on.....
@@Anon_jonn the whole "7 seconds" fight showed he literally wasn't trying to win fairly clearly
Sephiroth is the kind of boss that is exactly the reason we all save our big items til the end of the game
Max: Sephiroth is Vergil now?!
Me: No, Max. Vergil is Sephiroth.
Fun fact: Toshiyuki Morikawa is the Japanese voice actor of both Sephiroth and Dante.
@@GrahamChapman Wow...can't unsee that now.
@@GrahamChapman whatttt
GrahamChapman He’s also Leon Kennedy. 🙃
EDIT: I just found out that he’s also Ryu in Street Fighter. Such solid badass characters!
@@galaxy_kitten95 he gets all the badass characters them, nice
It was just as awesome watching this live on Twitch as playing it my first time myself.
Thanks for taking us along for the ride, Max.
Sadly (possibly) they said they’re sticking to the original formula of the other parts so possibly no time travel and such
I really do think Aerith needs to die though.
Then when you least expect it, they plunge the knife and twist repeatedly. I think they really want to try to recreate what people went through in '97. I have friends that stopped playing for months when she died.
I just noticed it, but Cloud only really reacts to the visions of Aerith's death during the Whisper fight.
Max was still at level 1 here
gameplayx hadn’t broken down the doors of level 2,3, or 4 yet :)
gameplayx hahah you must of saw the other review from other RUclipsrs haha

When Max lost Cloud's Limit Break I had to laugh xD
