Given the price increase, I'm not regretting getting a '23 Custom ordered. Only took 9 months, but I'm anxious to see how much more it would have cost.
Are the HD Headlights fully functional for the US? Thanks for this. Please let Porsche know that they REALLY have blown it not having the configurator live in the US a week after the launch.
I just ordered mine (e hybrid coupé) on the 18th..build is July and delivery *should* be late September/October. Can't wait!! Of course I couldn't keep it under 100K
I’m considering some options to possibly order a cayenne coupe. Should I add this to my cayenne configuration? I don’t expect to take it off road or on a performance track. Adaptive Air Suspension incl. Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) The reviews I read online look favorable but I’m not sure how much it helps if I am driving in comfort mode most of the time. Or maybe it’s active in all modes? I’m not sure I want anything that lowers the height in normal mode but maybe I am misunderstanding what this does. Thanks for your help!
Thank you Kalle! Nothing official yet. There is a delay in the Panamera changes for MY24! Once I know the changes I will make a video as quick as I can!
are you in the US? or Canada? because I don't think that the US DoT will allow those matrix headlights. I'm able to get a Cayenne E-Hybrid (which is vastly better than the base Cayenne) for under $100k USD. I don't get any "packages" or glass in the roof, and I keep the standard 20-inch wheels (which give a better ride, better range, and more safety with bigger sidewalls). I'm still able to add in ACC and surround camera and heated windshield and 14-way seats and exterior black-replacing-silver trim for under $100k. I may add in the infrared camera to get just over $100k (though my dealership is offering me 4.5% off MSRP as a loyal, repeat customer). We don't need/want glass in our roofs, don't need a sound system better than Porsche's base sound system (which is plenty fine). It's possible to avoid all those extra options that Porsche makes tons of money on and still have a very luxurious and comfortable car with great driving dynamics. And LCA is standard now. With the E-Hybrid, you get much more hp and torque than in the base Cayenne, and you get things like Sport Chrono package standard, plus the ability to drive in all-electric locally for up to 50 miles or so. No brainer to me.
Why was the central console gear shifter removed?!? It worked perfectly fine (although definitely preferred the pre 2019 Cayenne). And it was virtually universal. This new shifter lifter button makes no sense and is a total deal breaker.
I prefer the new gear shifter; it cleans up the center console in a good way. You get used to it; it's pretty easy to use on the Taycan. You still have paddle shifters for manual gear shifting.
Thanks for the build.. Would you please help build out a Coupe under 100k ? also, what are your thoughts on a 21inch vs a 22 inch wheels on a Cayenne? confused on what would be better from a ride quality standpoint
Apparently with the 23’ and before the ride was a bit harsh on 22inches but the 24’ model upscaled the aspect ratio of the tyres from 5 units on all sizes, meaning that with a 2024 on 22 inches you get the same tire profile as on a 2023 on 21 inches, with better dampers. Given all that the ride quality on 22s might even be a little bit better than a 2023 cayenne on 21 inches
@@dawaane thanks for the information. So my takeaway is that the 2024 with 21” should not be much different than a 2024 22” .. I will probably stick to 21”s then:)
I just bought a 2024 Cayenne that is exactly the same as you configured. Love it!
No kidding! Congrats on the new Cayenne! Enjoy it!
The interior was a huge reason why I didn’t get the preface lift. Now this 24 model is a must cant wait to order one.
Fantastic! Congrats! Let me know if you need any help along the way
I always appreciate your thoughts on appropriate builds! Thanks as always!
Thank you very much for the support Thomas!!

Same here. Just got 23 platinum edition custom order. With the new pricing, a 24 would probably cost easily 15k more with same options.
Awesome! Great info as usual. Can’t wait till the rest of us can play in the configurator!
The configurator is now live!
👍🏼 good job. Very difficult to keep it under 100k.
Thank you! 🙏🏼
It's now live on the US Configurator.
Yes it is ☺️

Great Video..
Any status about the new facelift panamera?
Thanks

was looking to order a turbo gt and was waiting for this facelift - but no pan roof again is a major barrier, will be looking elsewhere now

Is this for the coupe or the standard model?

This is for the standard Cayenne model!
so, for similar budget, would you take current GTS or the new S?
I would take the new S for a similar budget! 👍🏼
@@Pcarwhisperer nice piece of advice, let me play around with the specs. thanks!

I think the configurator is released now lol
Yes! It is now live!
A Cayenne without full leather is always a mistake
Can we come to you you to build a configuration?
Yes of course! I would be more than happy to help!
Is it my imagination or did the used Porsche market in the Caymans and 911s rise 20% in the last 60 days.
Hi Mike! The price on all Porsche's has been raised across the board for Model year 24!
@@Pcarwhisperer I was referring to the Used/CPO market.
Very cool Mason! Love the new headlight option
Thanks Matt!! Yes the new headlights are awesome!
