Hi there. So action is a personal preference. Some like a higher action whilst some like a low action. All we will say is be careful not to go too low as this will cause fret buzz and notes won’t ring properly. Just turn your truss rod a quarter turn at a time, tune your guitar and see how it feels. Keep doing that until it’s in a place where you feel it’s the most comfortable for you. Hope this helps.

Hi Rob. No it depends what the position the neck is in to start with. The truss rod can turn in either direction. For instance with the translucent blue guitar the neck was straight so I needed to put a slight bow in the neck to get the desired position. I hope this helps.
