For all those asking as of May 30th 2024 this build is very fun and functional. It DOES take some time to set up and get going. You NEED coronet and star aspect to have a chance. CDR is massive or you're stuck with no buttons to press. Im 91 doing pit 40 comfortably (not quickly, but possible) I an not optimized yet and still trying to find a decent ammy.
@AlonsoTherion he does mention it's not optimized either, I just got all my glyphs to 21 and finally getting some optimized gear for it. Gonna play around with paragon and see what I can push

Wish i would of read the comments before building n spending the time farming for items and tempers. Built this almost exactly the same with even all tempers correctly. Wasnt working for me. Thought it was maybe mob density issue or mob levels. But still didnt work, went through my build making sure it was all the same but still couldn’t spam meteor. Any tips or is it just actually nerfed
one you need to have a 6 second count on the helm. and the cool down reduction is also needed. i dont use xfals and i use blizzard ixe spikes insstead of frost nova for damage and damage reduction "while in i your blizzard you take 30% less damage and the ice spikes add more damage. i use the glacial aspect on one ring.i dont suggest you deviate as far as i did. get the 6 sec on the helm and massive cool down, on your necklace he uses xfals and the other ring for there cool down so upgrade all of those so your cool down is massive..
@@jwilliams1er do you use a dagger? in the build planner he has a dagger with intel, max life, and attackspeed. there is no attack speed affix in the possible outcomes so I'm a little confused.

According to the build link on this, i seen that attack speed is a required roll on the weapon and offhand, how do you get attack speed on the dagger? I dont see that being possible given the list of potential rolls for it at the blacksmith.
its a mistake, you do not have att speed on wpn, or the offhand. So the planner needs an update, or at least give us the source to the author of the build ye. I was asking for it, but no reply. so
This seems more like the kind of build for me, I was doing an incenerate build while I was leveling up and fire is fun. I tried switching to a frozen orb build but I'm always running out of mana
I'm done all the stuff at lv80, the key passive here rather choose Shatter instead, cuz all the mobs freezed anyway, total damage with critical strike while they freeze explode when they die is huge. The problem of this build is when facing just 1 or 2 mob running around :))
I need help, I have all the aspects and items now, I'm farming the pit since I have all paragon, but the cooldown on meteor is just to high... I haven't maximized all items tho
this build is sweet, reminds me of telrasha from diablo 3, tbh tho before they start making harder content they need to fix build diversity and stop nerfing shit like frost nova build before the season even launched, i get it they want stuff to not be broken but at the same time there is a reason POE is just a better game, it has hard content and there are literally hundreds of viable builds that all feel unique and this game super limits you on what you can do, some builds are just way to weak some get dumped into the ground like nova did and thats not considering that there really just isnt many builds per class to begin with.

I wanted to point out that for the dagger and focus you have in the planner to roll an attack speed affix, which is literally impossible. Really wanna try this build but I spent 40m rerolling affixes before I checked to see if it was even possible. Please fix the build planner
Hey rob what do you think of using the conjuration amulet on this build with frozen orb enchant to spawn more ice blades and reducing the cooldown of meteor even further with it? you would also get dmg boost from conjuration mastery
@@Rob2628 The idea was more of using frozen orb enchant for this while keeping the skills, so you would lose standard amulet and teleport/meteor enchant
Should check out arccueid's frozen orb build for sorcs if you wanna see fast. Think they were getting close to sub 1 min clears on pit 200. Looks nuts. Had new ubers either so definitely could be even faster
How much CDR and Attack speed do we need exactly? Trying to get my cool downs to reset as quickly as shown in this video and it just isn't happening. I have 34% cooldown reduction and 11.3% attack speed bonus (1.2 weapon speed).
Only way to attempt is now to use accelerate aspect and the ancient flame aspect since mastery skills (meteor) act as core skills now to raise attack speed. Then roll damage on weapon/offhand. It might get you close but it’ll be sorta inconsistent since that attack speed bonus isn’t constant
Still roll CD reduction and attack speed and masterwork your gear. This build is still viable if you're committed to it but don't expect it to be easy.

@@Devilchylde I understand that, but getting raw attack speed on your other gear seems to be fine enough if you get lucky with greater affixes and master working that boosts it by 25% that I got. still getting the same CD resets seen in this video

It will still be viable after the pit difficulty increase. It will just take longer to clear. Same goes for pretty much every build. They can all clear, just depends how long it takes.
I’m using raiment with this build… you need to change gear a bit. Get armour on boots and you can drop juggernaught and still armour cap…. Drop devouring on amulet and gain increase movement. Need that 9300 armour. And master craft pants to get that armour

Attack speed is gone, but you can roll the accelerate aspect on a piece of gear for 9% attack speed on core skills (mastery skills now count as core skills) and possibly the eso’s attunement for 34% increase attack speed when you have both eso bonuses up. Then roll pure damage on wand and offhand

Not killing 200 lvl Boss in 3hits like other OP builds, even ice build melted his health bar faster. Lack of 10M+ hits but solid fun meteor shower build. I like they don't kill other build buff only some to degree when is op and no one want to play weak builds.
Curious... can you use the new frozen orb amulet and have frozen orb as an enchantment to cast when you are casting meteors... which summon conjurations and cast more frozen orbs and give even more cdr to meteor?
it does look fun everyone loves a starfall build. i do prefer having a mana spender in addition to meteor but its often inefficient to boost 2 spells. fireball/firewall would be my top 2 followed by incinerate (LOL) or blizzard
This what always kills me this is a range class using no mana… doming abilities as range yet melee classes have to be in close use more resources to use abilities than any other classes and you have to commit so much to get even decent resource regain compared to Range classes/casters
So I’m not having problems with any of the build per say but I just can’t seem to get the cdr and as on one item especially when I need to then get meteor on the boots lol then I gotta hope I roll the right affix’s on the godly found item. Like I said I love the crap out of it but it definitely takes some time to hunt the necessary items with the perfect stats on them. Wish me luck I love the way it looks and I’m on my way.

Thanks a bunch for sharing this! :) Was just wondering though.. considering how crucial attack speed is to the Ice Blade cooldown reduction engine, would Aspect of Ancient flames not be more worthwhile than say a flat 25% damage multiplier from Conceited? Considering how quickly you kill enemies, it doesn't seem like uptime should be a problem, and looking at the stats in the builder, I don't think you would be hitting the attack speed cap right? Looking forward to hear your thoughts. Thanks again! :)
Better to use the elementalist aspect and drop off crit chance from Amulet for attack Speed. That gives you 4x attack speed affix for 60% assuming perfect roll so 87% if you are 12/12 masterworking, assuming NO bonus 25% on masterworking 4-8-12. You can also get a greater affix for 1.5 so getting 60% before masterworking is for sure doable. If you get some extra 25% on masterwork you can hit 100%. Or drop Xfal and go with a ring for attack speed there.
Played it in s3. Feels similiar to blizzard. But lag of the delay and dmg and cc. So I went back to blizzard. So meteors need some adds to compare with blizzard. Blizzard is even a blast at helltide events. Meteors cant compare.
I got my meteor to spam quick on Season 3 with max cooldowns and 110 per cent lucky hit chance. With the new changes cant wait to rain hell on my foes!
Make sure your starfall coronet has a 6 sec roll, you need cooldown reduction on every piece that can get it, i ran this buod last season and had toughly a 3.5 sec cooldown which was fine once ice blades gets to work, 4.5 sounds rough though, there would definitely be windows of no meteors
Blizzard, give us something challanging, not something that 1 hit us, but something to work on, and only something you can do when your max lvl,so we can have something to look forward to
I got frozen orb and got the helmet for meteors last night. I got 3 scrolls of amnesia I'm debating about switching build but not sure about the paragon board for meteors
@@Rob2628 Rob I noticed with this build the attack speeds doesnt roll on weapons I’m thinking the best option would be to swop out vulnerability aspect with. Core increases attack speed 25%. You can also drop chest with juggernaught and use raiment to telestomp. It’s what I’m doing. You loose a bit of damage but you can still cd spam a lot.
Now that's a good meteor size :D I love meteor build, and now it's not only looks good but also play good. Nice :D S4 will be the best sezon of all, this new powerfull itemization system is awsome :D That's a Diablo IV I want to play :D
The helmet chance meteors from mana cost to CD like conjurations. It requires no mana this build pretty much. You need the unique helmet tho. easy to find and cheap to buy
Can you put those skill on the 1-4 skill bar on a Macro so they all hit for example every one or two seconds so one does not have to Kill my Old fingers haha?

i play tal rasha meteor now on D3 S31 and can't relate to what you're saying. The meteors are quite big here. Take into acocunt that he is using the zoom out option so the screen is 20% bigger than in the live D4, and D4 has a bigger area size on the screen than D3 has, so if you compare just how big they are compared to the screen, it is not a valid comparison. Compare how big they are compared to the character. Heck they are the size of the Chief marauder boss.

Level 83 with coronet and critics optimised but cant doo more than 677k damages at most...
I'm telling you that you can't go over pit 70 with this one.. all my equips lvl 8 for now, char lvl 100, everything with CD

Needs a perfect roll on the Starfall Coronet and CDR on everything. You can't half-play or half-equip this.
You have to run Ancient Flame for Esu's Ferocity or you can't keep Meteor off CD continuously.

That’s a decent alternative but you lose 1 spell to take in frozen orb so hard choice to drop

i just tried this too, i cant seem to make the same as in the video, the cooldown is just still too long to spam the meteor...

I'd drop the teleport enchantment and switch to arclash (stun surrounding enemies for 0.5 seconds on cooldown use)
Havent got to check out the ptr but im extremely curious about nonshape shift druid builds, i hope some really good ones pop up with all the changes

Have not tested it but normally Procs dont proc Procs, so if it is not bugged only self cast Orbs should summon conjurations.
I tested it and the frozen orb enchant does not proc the conjurations sadly

Yes you can, just do the normal build without the unique items, you will just have cast the skill, and build mana regen.

Yes good alternative. Incinerate is slowly creeping up to be a somewhat decent option 🔥

Was just wondering though.. considering how crucial attack speed is to the Ice Blade cooldown reduction engine, would Aspect of Ancient flames not be more worthwhile than say a flat 25% damage multiplier from Conceited? Considering how quickly you kill enemies, it doesn't seem like uptime should be a problem, and looking at the stats in the builder, I don't think you would be hitting the attack speed cap right? Looking forward to hear your thoughts.

Better to use the elementalist aspect and drop off crit chance from Amulet for attack Speed. That gives you 4x attack speed affix for 60% assuming perfect roll so 87% if you are 12/12 masterworking, assuming NO bonus 25% on masterworking 4-8-12. You can also get a greater affix for 1.5 so getting 60% before masterworking is for sure doable. If you get some extra 25% on masterwork you can hit 100%.
Or drop Xfal and go with a ring for attack speed there.
this is the build I really enjoy in season 3, it looks super cool now.
u should add PTR to the title, this isnt working as well in S4 and ive spent billions for optimization

Played it in s3. Feels similiar to blizzard. But lag of the delay and dmg and cc. So I went back to blizzard.
So meteors need some adds to compare with blizzard. Blizzard is even a blast at helltide events. Meteors cant compare.
Yeah meteor is slow AF to drop.

Meteors need to fall faster, the delay is too long.
There is a rune for that, but for most builds you prefer immobilize for faster stagger especially against the bosses

It's still sad that it doesn't hit that hard. For being a delayed fall ability, it should hit pretty hard. Damage was just okay.

I got my meteor to spam quick on Season 3 with max cooldowns and 110 per cent lucky hit chance. With the new changes cant wait to rain hell on my foes!

Make sure your starfall coronet has a 6 sec roll, you need cooldown reduction on every piece that can get it, i ran this buod last season and had toughly a 3.5 sec cooldown which was fine once ice blades gets to work, 4.5 sounds rough though, there would definitely be windows of no meteors

Blizzard, give us something challanging, not something that 1 hit us, but something to work on, and only something you can do when your max lvl,so we can have something to look forward to

I got frozen orb and got the helmet for meteors last night. I got 3 scrolls of amnesia I'm debating about switching build but not sure about the paragon board for meteors
that build was cool when it came but was bad damage.. looks like thye made it a lill better

A little dmg increase would be nice. Instead of 5 items with size increase. Or at least some higher dot
@@Rob2628 Rob I noticed with this build the attack speeds doesnt roll on weapons I’m thinking the best option would be to swop out vulnerability aspect with. Core increases attack speed 25%.
You can also drop chest with juggernaught and use raiment to telestomp.
It’s what I’m doing.
You loose a bit of damage but you can still cd spam a lot.
Small tip ik it takes away a little but i feel like Ramient would work very well with this build
I played Metoer in ss3 I feel pretty good. this is insanely better
It does looks better and stronger, however Meteor takes forever to drop when pushing higher end builds making frozen orb the s tier build
Why not temper a posion/shadow dmg for another tal rasha stack?

Now that's a good meteor size :D I love meteor build, and now it's not only looks good but also play good. Nice :D S4 will be the best sezon of all, this new powerfull itemization system is awsome :D That's a Diablo IV I want to play :D

The helmet chance meteors from mana cost to CD like conjurations. It requires no mana this build pretty much. You need the unique helmet tho. easy to find and cheap to buy
Can you put those skill on the 1-4 skill bar on a Macro so they all hit for example every one or two seconds so one does not have to Kill my Old fingers haha?

i play tal rasha meteor now on D3 S31 and can't relate to what you're saying. The meteors are quite big here. Take into acocunt that he is using the zoom out option so the screen is 20% bigger than in the live D4, and D4 has a bigger area size on the screen than D3 has, so if you compare just how big they are compared to the screen, it is not a valid comparison. Compare how big they are compared to the character. Heck they are the size of the Chief marauder boss.
