  • We give you a walk around of the EPIC build of The General, a 2021 Diesel Jeep Gladiator!! This thing really is a monster! Built for every adventure we could possibly get ourselves into! The idea behind this build is to be able to rock crawl and then still be able to overland using the same rig! I can't tell you how many times we would rock crawl to a spot and then not be able to camp out due to not having the right set up! Here she is...finally!! Huge shout out to Equipt Expedition Outfitters for getting this top on for us and the Goose Gear Installed! We could not be more happy with how this all has come together!! Enjoy! #gladiator #jeep #jeepgladiator #overland #overlanding #rockcrawler #adventure #rockcrawl #monsterjeep #beastmode #overkill #diesel

    10k # winch on a loaded 8800# rig? Kinda small. Remember, thats 10k of pulling power at a single layer of line on the drum. Gladiator is overall super super incredible. I am jealous, lol.

    One of the best builds i've ever seen. Pretty close to the one I'm having built now. My understanding is that 43" MT are not street legal. But, you do run 42's on long trips. What do you use to air up and down? Do you have Banks Derringer and Pedal Monster to up the HP and torque. Fusion and EVO are the best. And, you are so well spoken. GREAT!!!

    • @adventurefurtheroffroad
      @adventurefurtheroffroad  Год назад +3

      The MT PRO XS 43s are dot street legal. They make a sticky that’s only a pro X that isn’t. We love them and are building another one as we speak that will doing a review of shortly for our trips. We most def for long trips run MTR 42’s and get about 18 MPG. Depending on the trip we take we use a power tank to fill up. Def the fastest by far. Otherwise we have a suitcase ARB compressor with a tank that plugs in under the hood we use as well. We modified the motor for increased power but didn’t do the banks kit. If you want more info PM us on instagram. I’d be more than happy to share some info with you. Thank you for the kind words.

    I am also interested in an auxiliary diesel tank so I will be excited if you hear anything. Have you heard anything for snorkels? I saw the hauk off-road but it looks like they were discontinued and they don’t look good. Lastly have you heard of armadillo bags? You might like them as a root pack replacement

      It took a little bit to get used to. At first without its def different but now no issues with it at all. The axle width helps a lot with stability and handles great! Sway bars are the key to I think!

    • @adventurefurtheroffroad

Have put it thru its paces and held up very well. Unfortunately I don't have any referral for you to purchase one. It was one of 5 built and no longer doing them anymore.

    This is an unnecessary money pit…just because. I’m a Gladiator owner. I bought a Rubicon with a manual and saved $5000. I don’t understand these builds. I figure my Rubicon can run about 95% of any trails out there, stock. And I’m using it to help make a barn into a residence on 8 acres I just bought.
