Hello dear friends,
For this month’s project I have created a diorama showing the famous ship RMS TITANIC at the moment she hits the iceberg in the North Atlantic Ocean during her maiden voyage.
To create this diorama I have used the Revel Titanic plastic model kit at a scale of 1:1200 and epoxy resin. I have made the iceberg from polymer clay and then created the diorama inside epoxy resin tinted with a blue color. I have then created the sea surface and the waves with transparent and white silicone.
In order to illuminate the diorama, I have used an LED strip. I have passed the electric wires from inside the ship to the bottom of the base through the iceberg and then connected the wires with 3 AAA batteries.
I really like this diorama/lamp and hope you will like it as well.
Until next time I wish you all the best,
Many thanks

I have commented on this before but a few days ago I had a sweet older patient who was heading to his forever home and was very distraught..(this is quite normal in the last days) as I sat with him I pulled my phone out and your video was the first one in my list..so we binge watched 4 shows before he fell asleep. He was so enchanted with your work! See..he was the man responsible for many of the details on fighter planes! Thank you for being you and for bringing him so much joy in his time of need! My heart breaks every time I lose a patient but what keeps me going is knowing that I can bring happiness and peace at such an important time in life ♡♡♡
Thank you Jennifer. Your comment means a lot. And what you do is wonderful so please keep helping and bringing comfort to people in need. May God bless you.
e
So beautiful
in my last days I hope I am treated as your patients are, you have moved me to tears......
3:10 removing watertight bulkheads. What could possibly go wrong?
Lol
Good one! lmao
Best comment lol
Exactly what I thought.
Didnt even put that into factor. Well played lol. I guess the biggest pun is that they could have had 4 more hours had they been left open or even non existent.
As a member of the model making team on the 1996 film I can say well done!
Wow. Thank you very much 👍👍
I think you meant to type the 1997 film? James Cameron? Kate Winslet, Leonardo DiCaprio? Heart of the Ocean?
*1997 film
1997 you mean
@@danieldoo1821 Bruh why does nobody know about the 1996 titanic miniseries
As someone who is from Belfast and also lives in the town that Thomas Andrews came from, your model is absolutely stunningly realistic. The lighting of the ship and the iceberg makes you feel that you can see it moving towards its fate and want to warn everyone.
Thank you for giving your talents to immortalise this breathtaking ship!
Thank you from Northern Ireland 💚💚💚💚💚
This is truly amazing. You should construct another one with the ship sinking and the lights stiill on underwater...
Leonardo Lupini ha I was thinking the same thing !!!
Yes that would be interesting
maybe with flickering lights
Give this comment some thumbs, I want to see this idea too =)
It looked amazing! Though I would see if you can tone down the deck lights some… That deck just looks a little too illuminated, or it could be the camera. I don’t know
It's the lighting that makes this diorama stand out.Set this up in a darkened room would be very impressive.
It looks very nice during the day as well. But when you light it in the dark it is truly amazing. Many thanks 😊👍
I believe that this is an outstanding model of the Titanic.
This is absolutely amazing
Genius idea, brilliantly executed by an imaginative, skilled craftsman.
Thank you very much 👍👍
For My, the water effect in The night is splendid
Yes I love this too . Thank you 👍👍
He put blood, sweat, and tears into that
He literally put blood sweat and tears to the project 🩸💧🩸💧🩸💧🩸
Those ropes would have ended me. Patience at its finest.
dont forget the drilled holes!!
Wow, the moment the LED turns ON...😲😲😲😲
Too Much light
I want to buy it. Even the damned iceberg looks amazing with the lights..
@@kris623 Agreed. Way too much. The underside of the top deck should have been painted to prevent the light leaching through. The top deck and chimneys look like they're lit from inside.
You said it perfectly when you said "It is Frighteningly beautiful"
A True Work Of Art and an (Heirloom) worthy of being passed down to future generations
Thank you very much for your kind words 😊👍👍
That turned out amazing and plus I love how you added the history about the Titanic in there very well. It was definitely worth the wait thank you
Thank you very much 👍👍
the music, the diorama set up, the illumination, making me feel sad about the disaster as well as appreciating this wonderful work of art
What a creativity and what a talent. I've seen a lot of masterpieces but this one is amazing! Nice work Sir, greetings from Austria!
This looks great. I can only imagine how it would look if you go back and get a model twice as large. I had a large Titanic model like that some 50 years ago. Without the resin sea and lights, obviously.
This is something realy beautiful.... amaizing, specialy when you light the LED's... is more that brilliant .
This is just beautiful... I have the exact same Titanic model on the shelf but I made that when I was 11/12 years old and at that time I was completely unskilled at building model-kits. The colors are a bit blurry and I didn't attach the ropes and all that kind of details. To see someone build something this beautiful out of this kit is just amazing and I think that by now I could do a much better job than I did seven years ago with all the stuff that I learned in these years.
Thank You ❤
You must have had the patience of a saint to complete this magnificent artwork, it really is a masterpiece.
I don't know why, but this diorama make me feel sad. Especially the illumination part is really breathtaking...
When the light were on it reminded me of the titanic’s last night and I wasn’t even born yet
Rip titanic
😔😔
Me too.
Same
The warning at the beginning made it seem like I was about to watch how crack is made
🤤🤤

Lol
Yef! very funny
*FBI open up*
I love this kit, have done two or three separate ones. Oddly enough, the one I did as a little kid is still the best.
One thing I've found so you dont get a lot of bleed through of the light on the upper decks is coat the underside in a grey or black paint. Grey will reflect it and wont shine through and black will dim it and wont shine through as well. Just a little trick I've found. It looks truly amazing!!
The is really cool. That was a great idea with the lights.
Thank you. Indeed it turn out very cool 👍
It is amazing this is truly a masterpiece I’m sure those passengers and crew who lost there souls would appreciate this
Amazing. Gives me goosebumps. 100% captured the feeling of the situation
This is the best Titanic Diorama I've ever seen! Makes me wonder how much it would cost to make one...
Mostly time😅🥲
I wish I could buy this! I’ve been studying Titanic for 19 years and this diorama lamp would be such an excellent addition to my collection of titanic things!!! I want one!!!
Thank you. I do limited commissions. For business inquiries you can contact me on my Facebook or Instagram page 👍

@@4THECRAFT Splendid craftsmanship. I have built many models in my youth. Love your creativity.
Who in the hell studies titanic for 19 years?get a life man.
4THECRAFT I’ve been obsessed with the Titanic since I was 4 and this is by far the best model of it, I’ve ever seen.
In fact if you on plan on selling it, I along with plenty of others, would be interested in the price.
Great job. I always enjoyed making models. This takes it to another level.
Thank you. Actually I have made only a few plastic models in my life .
I built a 1:350 Academy anniversary edition model and it was my first build... I added lights just like you did... But I had to heat up a needle on a candle to make all those holes as I could not find a bit that small and did not have patience to source it lol.. When it was done I felt so proud but after looking at your project I feel I could have so much better. Love from India!
Wow. That is beautiful! I love everything Titanic. I love this, it's stunning!
Amazing model. I love it. How about a second one, where the ship is half under? Would look amazing when the illumination is still on under water....
Thank you. I agree if would be very cool 😊👍
It's both beautiful, and tragic at the same time.
Wow, the lighting effect in your model looks absolutely stunning! You do some amazing work.
Excelente trabajo! Y muy placentero ver el proceso. Muchas gracias por compartirlo.
The end result is stunning! 😍
Thank you, I agree 😊
Omg!! Please do another one, the sinking part! Or the titanic breaking! I think it will be nice with lights and etc♡ love your work
Apart from the beautiful projects its Just verry nice to watch. Relaxing music, timelapse on the right moment. Just great stuff!
Wow, a thousand thumbs up. Everything about it is amazing, but I just love the port side views, both "daytime" and at "night," and the visibility of the iceberg under "water" on the starboard side of the ship.
That's 1 of the best models I've seen on RUclips ;)
Most inspiring project, leading up to the whole narrative in the observer's mind. And thank you for not using "My heart will go on" or "I wish to sleep with a fish", or whatever that last one is called.
Absolutely stunning!
Amazing work! The LEDs add so much to the model. Absolutely stunning.
As much as drilling every. single. hole. must have been a huge pain in the ass, the results are SO worth it. Fantastic work!!
Thank you
Indeed it was worth it. 😊👍
Yes, it is truly amazing, but if not every single hole was drilled it would be more realistic, because some cabins could be dark (as if some passengers were sleeping).
Here is the explanation at 6.55 about windows drilling
ruclips.net/video/rdYE8Sl-Mh8/видео.html
Truly EPIC! 😍
Many thanks 👍👍
It's absolutely stunning and something I would love to have on display. You are certainly very skilled
Wow! Very impressive! That turned out excellent in so many ways! The depth of the sea, the illusion of life on the vessel with the lighting, and the under glow of the ice burg was a very nice touch! So was the illumination of the ship lights on the waters surface!
"-And when I press this button all the lights turn on. I also have recorded music, laughter, singing, you can even hear tiny screaming when the ship hits the iceberg. And here I have little boa- oh no, the passengers, they're escaping! Quick, don't let them get too far! They're getting under the doorway! For Christ's sake not again!"
Once again an amazing job! I can't imagine how long it would have taken you to drill all the holes.
Thank you again. Yes it was a quite boring exercise but necessary for the cause.😊😊
@@4THECRAFT Drilling holes is always boring. Cheers!
What a masterpiece! I didn’t know you could paint that well!
Outstanding work! I love the small lights from the portholes and their reflection on the sea!
I only miss a tiny musicians playing on tiniest violins in the world on the deck... 😁
Great work!
And DiCaprio...
@@Jari_Kuusisto jack in the movie was douch bag he left his friends to die for a girl

musicians were not on the deck when Titanic hit the iceberg ;-)

Oh my god that’s genuinely breathtaking.
Many thanks 👍
The attention to detail is 2nd to none. This is an amazing piece of work.
Wow!!! Another stunning work of art. And the way you have illuminated this diorama is truly a stroke of genius. Well done.
I love everything about it apart from that hole in the iceberg. It just draws to much attention to itself and makes it seem less menacing. Great work though!
I agree I could have avoided the hole. But I liked the idea of the resin passing through the hole and I wanted to try and make it 😊😊😊
6:38 should have kept the footage. Showing blood shows realism of model-making some times.
😊😊
@@4THECRAFT dont do that, or your video might get demonetised.
@@sebastiansaez4927 I think she was joking
Absolutely beautiful work! The attention to detail is uncanny! I love the titanic history and story! Beautiful!
Spectacular. What a showcase of your modelling skills. Thanks for sharing.
Absolutely Amazing, Friend.
Thank you very much my friend 😊👍
Very nice job, but hindsight is 20/20 and I would have done two things different: 1) the roping is clearly not to scale and its fuzzy look is just not right. Would use actual very fine gage metal wire instead. 2) Your lighting is shining through the translucent deck. Paint the undersides of the decks black to block the light.
I agree with no 1. Regarding no 2 the illumination is not that bright as is shown on the video. Bear in mind that the illumination is always brighter when shooting under low light conditions. In reality the illumination is closer to the last picture of the video. Thank you for your comment.
This is an absolutely gorgeous diorama
A truly great work of art I think it’s amazing how realistic it looks you did a wonderful job.
I'm sure I'm not the first person to say when, where,$$ how much and how soon can I order one Wow that is nice
Me too! Lol..
Looks great.. but i think theres too much lighting on the decks itself.. but the rest is spot on 🙂👍
Thank you 😊👍
you can paint the underside of the dack black
@@jeffreyli4879 I did but I didnt like it. It made the decks look dark. Anyway I think thats a matter of personal taste. personally I like the way the ship is illuminated.
...and omit some of the portholes driling. There's no way that all of them were illuminated at once. And to save you some work :) Excellent diorama and a pleasure to watch.
Absolutely amazing. I love it. Great job.
That is absolutely STUNNING!!
Titanic: *Sees one iceberg in a whole ocean*
Also Titanic: sLaM
(What I'm saying is that there should be more ice and stuff)
But anyways keep up the food work!
Thanks. This was a small diorama/lamp so not many room for lots of icebergs. 😊
I wish I could do this as i certainly have the patience. Alas, my eyesight and finances do not allow me. i still make models, just not to this level anymore. (not sure I was ever at this level, lol)
Outstanding! Such a pleasure to watch.
Simply stunning, and also a solom reminder of the harshness of the tragedy that took so many lives.
Why do people think Titanic is just a movie? It happened IRL.
Idk maybe they need to discover the wreckage and watch a night to remember to understand that the titanic sunk longer than you thought
@@Recongamer_2010 they discovered the wreckage in 1985
We need to remember the titanic because it's gonna disappear soon
3 words come to mind when viewing this video...STUNNING, BRILLIANT, WONDERFUL, and many thanks for showing us a very skilled artist at work.
That is awesome.. It was truly a pleasure watching a master craftsman at work
Everyone: This ship is unsinkable
Capt Smith: Hold my beer
Really dude?
subham roy yeah, gets numerous ice warnings, status at full speed, binoculars are kept locked up. Titanic was sunk by stupidity. No different than the costa Concordia incident, again it was the stupidity of the captain that sank that ship. Neither of these events happened due to uncontrollable circumstances, both were stupidity
@@mvol5973 it was normal protocal back then to not reduce speed unless there was immediant danger to the ship.
10:52 : pictures taken moments before disaster
I give you 10 out of 10 , trully amazing and haunting at the same time . The light shining throw the holes and the top looks so real .
Love it, well done!

Pompeii ashes?
how are there 438 dislikes on this vid, this is amazing, there is something wrong with the untalented haters that put a thumbs down, Awesome talent, thank you.
I guess because it's a bit macabre to make a diorama from a tragedy.
Wow! Amazing art
Stunning!
It would be cooler if there's an option for the LED on the ship to be flickering as to show the moment of impact and fading power still its gorgeous
Imagine making this and then realising you forgot to hit record
I dont want to imagine it 😁
Stunning!!
Amazinly beautiful! Great job!

It’s been 109 years. I think it’s way past being too soon.
Simply beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
I've never seen better Lighting on another model Titanic in my life. It's literally perfect how beautiful it is. I only wish the Marconi cables were running parallel that's all.

Increíble trabajo, felicidades!
Wow that’s amazing well done
I was on the Titanic. This triggered me.
How old are you? 😁
It's nice but you made a mistake for letting the whole floor of the titanic glow.
You should have put a light block on it.
Thank you. Actually it does not illuminate as much as is shown in the video. Dont forget that shooting video on low light conditions makes the illumination look more heavy. In reality the illumination is very smooth and closer to the last picture of the video.😊
I love Titanic so I love what you did with this, it looks fantastic! Very elegantly made!
Wow, wow, wow, wow! Awesome hard work!
