I got my first panic attack when I was 38 years old . It was a major panic attack, that happened a couple days before New Years , 2021. It's been 2 years of hell. Everyday I would get panic attacks and bad dizziness ,and all types of weird body and mind symptoms..that would last most of the day.. I'm still dizzy everyday, and my body's all shaky all the time..My fight or flight is on all the time, and I always have a major fear feeling all the time,i feel like im gonna die all the time, heart beats fast . I guess I have a anxiety disorder.. I haven't been 2 a Doctor yet ,I've just took the misery..I'm gonna have 2 see a Doctor soon and see if I have a anxiety disorder ,or a health problem..I can barely function.. Some days are worse then others, but I'm always dizzy ,and feeling weird in my body..

Same symptoms with me, once you are done with your checkup and proven that you are suffering with anxiety, you can check sir martin vids about panic anxiety and healthy anxiety on his playlist, it helps a lot with me. I hope it will also to you. Slow process but effective. Good luck mate, we can do it! (Btw I'm still suffering with my dizziness everyday, but not as bad as before, also my panic has been reduced significantly)

I suffer from anxiety and have watched and listened to a lot of different RUclips channels seeking help. This channel has been by far the most helpful for me. Practical advice and I appreciate Martin's calm, compassionate, yet no-nonsense delivery. Thank you Martin for making these videos, you are helping more than you know.

I have written them up and made a promise to myself to implement these resolutions day to day and be kind to myself when there are times that I can't. 3 decades of chronic pain and crippling anxiety will be overturned this year as I work hard at loving-kindness and rewiring my brain. Thank you for all your ideas, explanations and support. I have found many, many of your videos very helpful and reassuringly positive. 😊

Thank you for the helpful videos you provide! I really wish that, in the new year, I would get rid of the fear of going to school because of paruresis and enjoy being with my teachers and classmates, not being worried.
I really want to get rid of paruresis!🙏

Thanks Martin, your videos have been such a blessing since I found them this summer. I really believe they are the best on the internet. I don’t bother to watch anyone else’s anymore.
Could you do a video giving more tips on how to be more positive? I know to be more positive but it just doesn’t seem to come naturally.
And maybe you have made a video on this already, but it would be great to have one specifically about accepting uncertainty.
Happy New Year and prayers of thanks for you on this holy feast day of the solemnity of Mary, Mother of God.

Hi Angie. Happy new year. Its very difficult to make yourself think positive but I will give it some thought. I do have a video on tolerating uncertainty though. Heres the link ruclips.net/video/xUF_fgD_dIk/видео.html

@@TheAnxietyAttic so glad you are willing to think on how to get one to think more positively. I do think that reading the comment section on certain RUclips videos really can put negative suggestions in ones head. Covid times were a prime example . The news was extremely negative and people became super negative. In Canada there was a lot of pretty vile mud slogging going on in comment sections and I kept reading them. I still read the comment sections of political commentary for reassurance reasons. I think it’s really bad for my brain. We are pretty politically plugged in so there is no need for me to be be doing this. I can also replay negative things people say over and over in my head, and that probably doesn’t help either. Obviously googling health things is not a positive experiences. The first things that popped up when I researched my sons chronic hiccups was cancer. Scared me until I found out that only 6 teens get diagnosed with this type of cancer in the USA a year. Just an example of how Dr. Google is not a positive guy. Interestingly I am one of those people who can at times spend too much energy trying to overcome anxiety. This probably comes from a place of negativity, that I will never beat my anxiety. I am looking forward to seeing what your thoughts are on this.
