I fell in love with the pistachio cream puff. I'm Italian and it reminds me of my family baking biscotti and Cannolis growing up. It is a very nostalgic scent for me. So many fantastic hand soaps...the caramel and bourbon, lavender marshmallow, vanilla cloud, cozy vanilla almond, and blackberries & basil are all worth getting during a sale💖💗💕
Yes to the foaming hand soaps. I'm enjoying their new scent Sea & Sandstone in the bathroom right now. The strongest I've used so far was Palo Santo & Sage. I recommend that one to anyone looking for a strong scent. I have Warm Vanilla Sugar, smells good. Yes to your purchased candles.

Love the pink prosecco ❣️ lavender marshmallow, raspberries & vanilla, the chocolate truffles one (cannot think of the name 🥴), linen and nectarines, beach weather, dark Amber and oud, springtime in Paris, Coconut Eclair. I'm loving them all!!! This is new for me so I've went a bit crazy 🙄🥴🥴 and get a tad overly excited about candles. I now hide my B & BW addiction from family and friends 🙄 geez, I probably need to get a more exciting life 😂😂 thank you for you haul, I enjoyed it!!! 💖
Omg! I thought I was the only one who hates the heat. I always say anything above 68F is uncomfortable and anything over 75 and I better be inside. Now if we are on a beach, that is different. I absolutely LOVE the dragonfruit tea candle! One of my fav’s!!!! That along with blackberry crème frosting.

Nice haul! Too bad you missed the buy two get two free a couple of weekends ago. I also purchased the SBC and Iced dragonfruit tea. Pink Prosecco Frosting had the sour note to my nose, but Toasted Coconut Eclair is so amazing that I hunted down three of them. Iced coconut milk is delicious as well. Can't wait for your reviews and Kringle haul.
I was very excited to see this video. I still enjoy watching BBW hauls. The one hand soap you absolutely have to try is smoked caramel & bourbon. The packaging matches the collection that raspberries & whipped vanilla candle is from.

Hi Melanie. Smiled when I saw your haul, for you got several of the same candles I did! I LOVE. LOVE Raspberries & Whipped Vanilla, in fact I have it burning right now. This is one candle which I purchased backups for. I normally do not go crazy with backups anymore, I am more careful with my purchases than i use to be but this one is an exception to my rule! I found it best not to trim the wicks short on this one (just fyi). Sprinkled Birthday Cake is a light fragrance with a good throw (mine that is) and burns well and I like it more than Homeworx's Birthday Cake. Pink Prosecco Frosting, mine is a powerhouse with throw and wicks burn well. I really like it, although it's not one of my favorites. I did not get Iced Dragonfly because I normally do not like fragrances with tea notes, but I may try it and be surprised because so many others have given great reviews on it. There are two I do want to mention that you may want to consider, one is Prosecco & Peaches. I own so many peach candles and recently Harry's fresh market peach so I almost did not get it. Boy, let me tell you this candle burning is FABULOUS! I like it more than Harry's fresh market peach! The other is Springtime in Paris, it is a combo floral fruit that burns so beautifully. it is one of those candles that I can see myself turning to repeatedly during warmer months. I just checked on my Raspberries and Whipped Vanilla, it is down 2/3 and the wicks are not mushrooming and I have had it burning for approx 3 hours and putting it out now. I like to keep my burns no more than 3 hours tops. This is a candle I hate putting out though because I love the scent so much! Enjoy your haul!

I immediately smelled the sour note when I picked up the Sprinkled Birthday Cake candle in the store. I had a bad feeling because I smelled that same sour note in Ice Cream Bar from last summer and that candle stunk so bad to me when I burned it. Sad, because a lot of people seemed to love it, and I thought I would too. Anyway, I purchased SBC anyway, took it home, put it under the lamp, and OMG, I could not get past the sour note. I don't know what it is about my nose that picks that up so easily, but it does (and I do not have an overly sensitive nose, I promise!). So, I called it a day - no more SBC for me. It is interesting to hear that you like it (on cold) better than Harry's... I have his Birthday Cake but haven't burned it yet. I do not get that sour smell in his though, so I'm looking forward to that burn. I just got his Coconut Cake candles, and I can't wait for the new to arrive! Looking forward to what you think once you've burned or melted it!
Yay! I have to say, I was pretty excited to see a Bath & Body Works haul from Melanie! ☺️💕 I picked up a few Pink Prosecco Frosting, as it is a repackage of my FAVE new candle of 2020: Raspberry Mimosa! I know you’ve enjoyed this one, too. I have burned one, and it burned great, but I always burn in a hurricane. To me, Sprinkled Birthday Cake is just like Boardwalk Vanilla Cone hand soap! I’ve burned two so far and grabbed four more. Often I find BBW straight vanillas like Frosted Cupcake and Vanilla Buttercream to be a bit bitter, although Vanilla Bean is probably my all-time favorite consistently returning BBW candle. To me, there is no bitterness in Sprinkled Birthday cake. Can’t wait to hear your reviews! 🥰💕👌
I usually buy BBW candles bc of price and convenience....they're easy to buy and affordable especially at sale....btw, I too have a texture issue & never grew out of it.... I hate fruits that pop in my mouth like grapes and barely eat any fruit bc of that 💕💕
Hearing Raspberries & Whipped Vanilla is Super close if not a Repack of Unicorn Sprinkles which is why i didnt grab it. I have so many similar scents Pink fairy gumdrop, Gelato, Candy hearts,,, I do have 1 Unicorn Sprinkles i exchanged the other few i purchased bc out of all of those its my least favorite. Interested to hear what you think of the Rasp. & Whipped Vanilla. Excited to burn my Birthday cake!! If you haven't tried the Spring plum & Blackberries it's AMAZING!! Great performance, Great strength/throw, Beautiful wax color,,, I recommend it!! I reviewed it on my waxonxo Instagram page! Exciting to see this video from you! I can honestly say, I’ve never purchased anything at BBW without smelling it first! That includes candles, soaps and lotions!
For Christmas, I bought a candle at a cute little local shop in my hometown. It’s called Buttered Maple Syrup! My house smells so good today!
Thank you for the candle lamp recommendation. I got it in black. LOVE it. Worth the money if you want to salvage “bad” candles.

I just got my candle lamp and I LOVE IT!! Thank you so much for getting us a discount ❤️ I don't know how I lived so long without a candle lamp in my life! I buy most of my candles from Aldi (soy blend) and have always enjoyed them. However, lately it seems like they give off a horrible acrid burning smell when they're lit and I seriously thought I was going to have to toss a dozen candles 😣. Not only did my candle lamp save these candles but I swear it is bringing out the most gorgeous scent notes that I've never noticed when they were burning! What?! 🤯 I got the black one with the timer and it is worth EVERY PENNY 🙌🏻. This will 100% be my go to housewarming, hostess, "not sure what to get someone" gift going forward! Also, thanks for the bath and body works haul review! I will still get their handsoap and wallflowers on sale on occasion and I love how thoroughly you describe the scents! Happy Twosday!! Omg I thought I was the only one getting that sour note in spinkled birthday cake!! Like a sour cream cheeze note, but very faint!
Thanks Melanie , I smelled the pink prosecco frosting and raspberry whipped cream in store and ummmm but waiting on good sale ! I did get a dragon fruit tea and it is definitely yummy burning !
The sale totally sucked lol. But the next good one may tempt me to grab a couple more.
My birthday cake candle has incredible strength and throw! I’m really enjoying it and will pick up another soon. It’s not overpowering but a solid medium strength but the throw is pretty high. I could smell it in several rooms of my apartment.

Have you tried Target brand candles? They are the same size as BBW and are $10. I have been pleasantly surprised by the ones I bought. They smell really good, strong and burn well.
I saw them last night and want to try them as I love the price point. BBW needs to stop raising their prices. Totally overpriced now. Thanks for the post and info!

Great Haul! I have burned all except Raspberries and Whipped Vanilla. I think Pink Prosecco Frosting smells very similar to my favorite candle Raspberry Mimosa but a little more sweet with that buttercream note. But the burn experience was terrible , so much soot and didn’t throw well. Sprinkled Birthday Cake was so sour to me, on cold and even when burning. I returned mine. Iced Dragonfruit Tea was a powerhouse last year and happy to see it back again.
Oh no! Another soot monster huh? Luckily I can pop it under my lamp if I need to. Curious to see how the sour notes translates in the birthday cake one.
Love your BBW haul! I have noticed that some candles are priced at $29.50 and yes usually they put the candle care flyer in your bag . I want to try the birthday cake candle...love gourmand scents and vanilla is a favorite scent for me. I did not want to participate in the sale..the candles were priced at $16.50 I think so I want to buy them when they're cheaper than that.
I just put the pistachio soap out. Seems festive for March. Did you see the cozy almond vanilla soap in your store? I got a couple.

I need to grab an Iced Dragonfruit Tea because I heard it's strong and throws well. I am smelling Scentsy's Midnight Fig on cold. What type of scent do you think would be best mixed with it to get it closer to Goose Creek's French Autumn? I have a bar of Pretty and Plum which would add the plum note and thinking maybe a half cube of a floral. I have no French Autumn to compare, but loved that scent so want to recreate.

Oh gosh I wish I could figure that out. I don’t care for the company but that scent was just to die for. It’s a very sweet floral. Just beautiful!

I ♥️ iced dragonfruit tea. I need to give raspberries and whipped vanilla a try. I’ll add it to my list. Have you tried Mahogany Vanilla?? I’m really enjoying it and it is in similar packaging as Iced Dragonfruit.
I typically avoid mahogany anything like the plague lol. I saw it and walked away without even smelling it 🤣 maybe I should have at least smelled it.
@@MrKongsMom I usually avoid those scents too but was pleasantly surprised. It’s a soft woody vanilla and very grounding.
It's funny, I have the same concerns with buying Homeworx candles that you have buying Bath & Body Works candles. I love the Homeworx scents but I've had so many that are problematic with burn and throw and it's a hassle to return them so I prefer being able to just run over to my local BBW if I have a return. Wouldn't it be wonderful if all of these candle companies could figure out how to have more consistant wick performance? Having said that, I agree the BBW prices are getting ridiculous! I was excited for sprinkled birthday cake but I got a plastic smell from the vanilla on cold :(
It's so interesting that people have such varying experiences. There are so many people that are shocked by how my BBW's burn and don't have any of my concerns. But then again I am surprised by all the issues some have with Homeworx. I tend to have the best luck with Homeworx and the soy formula from Kringle. No company is perfect but I just wish there was overall consistency with all of them. It does make it difficult to review them when the experiences are so varying. But it is helpful when people share what their thoughts are in the comments. I think it really helps people to balance all the reviews and make a decision.
@@MrKongsMom I really want to try the Kringle soy formula, I'm hoping to soon. I wonder if our varying climates are causing the differences we're experiencing with performance.
I loved the Mahogany vanilla candle! Its amazing. Do you use any plug ins in your house? Or just candles?
I use candles and wax melts, mostly Scentsy. I don’t use the plug ins anymore as they only last about a week before they stop working for me. I used to love the wallflowers in the past.
Sprinkled Birthday Cake doesn’t smell like a cake at all, to me. I can’t explain what I smell, but it definitely is not anything gourmand or cake like. 😅
