I’ve used burlap sacks for my bars. Some customers use the bar while in the sack. Make all the adjustments you want J, remember you are an awesome creator that can adapt to changes.
I love these more candid, personal videos. Sometimes the WORK side of running a handmade business feels a bit isolating and it's refreshing to have a realistic behind the scenes view of prep time. Just seeing that so many of us are on the same page in our goals and processes gives a truer sense of our maker community. Thank you.

I just want you to know that no matter what you post and how you post it, I ALWAYS look forward to your content and fond inspiration from you. You are a big reason why I'm still plugging along, trying to gather my courage to push myself to do what I've been wanting to do for years. I have a super hard time putting myself out there. I'm VERY self-conscious, so it takes a lot for me to get to that point where I feel sort of comfortable but it is time. I've been at this stage for at least a year now lol. Fwiw I actually prefer the more making heavy/bts of the business side over the more production heavy videos, though that may just be the nerd in me that likes learning haha
I use the muslin bags for my soaps. Very sustainable. Customers love them.

My 61st birthday is August 20th and because of your totally honest, real, entertaining and professional videos, I going to begin again with my company! I had given up b/c of health reasons, but now I want more than ever to put in the work and just keep going for my adult special need daughter (Autism) and myself. I know thisnisblike the third comment I'm leaving lol but there is so much that I vibe with. I have changed my brand sooooo many times over the past 6yrs that my husband has been teasing me a little. It takes a lot of work and creativity and there is so much out there to inspire. Every time I rebrand, I think, this is it. I think I am ON my brand finally! Now just playing around either label looks but you're so right. We need to be able to allow our creativity to prevail until we get a look and brand we love. I've had soooo much positive feedback with my new branding that it shows me, it is being accepted by the public if that makes sense. I also LOOOOOVE your new branding. I LOVE the names. Love that you've added some colour back in too. It's YOU.

Jerika, thank you for the transparency. I was mulling over packaging ideas just last night then i saw this video today. It brings to mind the quote that says to redirect and refocus as many times as you need to, just don't give up.

I’m not a fan of using those bags since from what I’ve realized is only a small percentage of customers actually reuse them and the rest end up in a landfill.
I prefer to use the more minimul and recyclable materials for packaging

Such a peaceful video, it feels like I’m in a spa relaxing ☺️. I’m making some pumpkin spice soap atm, and also some bread in my breadmaker. We have a flood and tornado watch for our area until 2, hurricane Debby touched down in SC but we are just on the fringe of in we are in northeast PA. I love the names you gave your new line, I used to live in Bremerton WA we used to manage an apartment complex 1988-1989 it was called Bayview East Apartments it was next to a naval base. I’ll never forget all the smells sounds and sights. ❤
I like Bremerton a lot!! We go there sometimes to catch the ferry to Seattle.

I was pregnant and my ex drove a pickup truck with a youhaul trailer on the back all the way from there to here. The sights we saw along the way! I wouldn’t recommend it now tho 😆

Yeah I’m on the hunt too! For this phase I went with Amazon but I’m currently sourcing places to get them cheaper and in larger amounts.

Can print your label with you X Tool Machine. To make it easier for you. You and your husband is very hard work with your soap business. What you put on the market is a big seller. And it is all about how you are labeling. Out all the soap videos I have watched your packages are awesome.

My brand started with locally inspired goat's milk soap, and all my product names are BC inspired locations and landmarks. Lately I am leaning more into my Pagan beliefs too, trying to meld them both. It's a journey!
