Plantar fasciitis hurts so dang bad! Makes you feel like you are 80 years old at the ripe-old age of 40. The doctor gave me Cortisone shots and of course it cleared up immediately but came back. The only problem with cortisone shots is you get three of those and then you’re done. That’s the limit per year. Because I was in so much pain and desperate for relief, I decided to try Pilates. Sometimes plantar fasciitis can be caused by tight muscles. Several months into Pilates and my symptoms were gone. It’s been five years now, and the plantar fasciitis never came back. Hope you feel better soon!

Wow, I'm glad I'm not limited to 3 cortisone shots a year. I would never be able to get out of bed. Steriods cause your body damage but they do you good also

100% on the feeling old! Especially in the mornings when I hobble out of bed 😂. I was very into yoga the beginning of the year and had to stop due to being so busy but I really need to get back on the horse since I hear stretching can do wonders!

I also had PF whilst working full time as a waitress.... That was not fun! I was offered cortisol but no idea why I turned it down, sounds great (for a while at least).

@@JerikaZimmerman Stretches and exercises work to relieve PF also messages on the calf and rolling a ball under arch of your foot several times a day. You'll have to stretch and exercise the pf muscle in the calf. Good luck Jerika and speedy recovery. You got this👍🧡💞

Being older I found once I had my hysterectomy they gave me patches with hormones and the ones they gave me at the hospital were fine but once I had to get them from the pharmacy I developed a reaction to the gel sticky part of the patch and every time I took it off to replace there was a large welt. So yes now I have a reaction to even Band aid adhesive now. My new doc said she has seen a lot of people now have troubles with adhesives , something has changed. He’s lucky to have you that can make his Boo, boo’s feel better 😂. Your great.

Jerika, If the patches and medical devices Cale has been using and if they have a gel or adhesive on them ,it is very likely the company may have found a cheaper adhesive and that could be his issue. I was never allergic or had issues from bandaids until the adhesive was changed and now I can't use bandaids. just check into that. Many items we are getting in a lot of areas but especially the medical field are just cheap and not as good as they used to be. I have even noticed the needles I use for insulin are not as sharp as they once were and I find little hook type end on some and you will only use it once and then you will check every needle you pick up. Good luck with getting better ones. I know you said Helichrysthum was not one of your favorite essential oils, but it is an awesome oil for bruises and patches like Cale has. I used a mix of helichrysthum, lavender, and roman chamomile in a tamanu oil and I had fallen and my leg was bruised to a black color and I mused that blend every day a few times and it healed quite fast and helped alot with pain.

This is so helpful, thank you! We were so puzzled seeing his reactions given he’s been fine for years! It’s definitely the adhesive - we’re currently trying flonase and skin tac and will try different barrier patches to see what helps. But thank you for the oil suggestions- we’ll try those too!

You’re right - there is definitely some rumblings about a change to the adhesive on the forums and after talking with my nurse. I wish there was a statement of disclosure that a change has been made. Sorry to hear about the full needles…ouch!

I luv watching ur videos. If I can’t sleep I watch ur videos because ur so soft spoken it’s really relaxing. Please this is not an insult at all. It’s a compliment cause I have a hard time going to sleep cause of my heart so ur voice and 1 other RUclipsr has such soothing voices and I love watching a fellow soap maker. U would luv my touch of fall body oil. My daughter is obsessed with it and it’s unisex. It’s gentle enough for a woman to wear, but it is masculine at the same time and the sent stays on u. Spicy and earthy. Bottom notes are sandalwood and dark patchouli. We don’t put any fragrance in our body oils. It’s 100% essential oils. If u luv patchouli that’s the body oil for u. I do body butter. With only butters and oils. My body butter is absorbed immediately into the skin and it leaves ur skin feeling like satin. It took me 3 years to get it exactly the way I needed it. I made if for my son and he hates greasy products on him. I make a true body butter with 0 water using only butters and oils. It’s my best seller. But I promise it’s not greasy there is no film left over u can put it on and not have to wait to put ur clothes on or anything like that. Thank u for sharing all of this. I have a small RUclips channel. I do shorts. I don’t talk cause I don’t know what to say, lol I want to. Did u have that issue when u started social media w talking to ur camera?

Every time I've had plantar fasciitis the cause was my calf being too tight. I do calf stretching exercises and a lot of massage with a percussion deep tissue massager from Costco (I massage the foot and calf) and after 2-3 days the foot pain disappears :)

Sorry, you're suffering with Plantar. I ended up with that a couple of years back because of walking around and standing on hard floors all the time. I got some insoles for my shoes which help and I now make sure I either have soft-soled shoes on when I work or stand on anti-fatigue mats. I think we forget how much we stand up all day doing when we do, and I don't know about you, but my house is all tiled floors! Hope it feels a bit better for you soon.

I had plantar fascitis last year. Went away in about 3 months. I bought special insoles for my shoes at Walmart and took a frozen bottle of water or anything you can roll your foot is also helpful. This last Christmas I bought a Cloud Massage foot massager. Best $200.00 I have ever spent.

I have some insoles insert in my house shoes and outdoor shoes now. I’ve heard about the frozen water bottle roller and will need to try this out! The stretches and insoles seem to be helping a lot, but I know with this condition it can last awhile. Trying to take it easy !

We have used FRANKENCENSE essential oil for our plantar fasciitis and it helps alot. My foot dr. Was even like oh yah thats good stuff. Give it a try while u wait for your dr. Appt. Clary sage also is good for pain but dont used if pregnant. Ice and stretch also and u may have to give up cute shoes for a bit. Prayers for your feet. I had foot surgery last year for a joint notplantar and it is surprising how much life changes when u cannot use a foot. Take care of yourself girl! ❤

How do you find that fine line between what you can comfortably make and still have time for your life outside work? your products look amazing, and your videos are super informative, especially(for me) the business driven ones.
