About hydraulic clutch, remember that if you are on a long tour - far away from any service etc, - there is nothing you can do if you get a leakeage, you leave the road and a something underneath the bike ruin your hydraulic tube, so what can you do?If you have a piece of wire from the cowfence - or a rope or something - you, ll be saved. I worked in a Volvo garage here in Norway many years ago - and I made some clutchwires for a lot of bikes - from the stopwire for the truckengine, - remember you are on a motorcycle ! No, dont get me wrong, I am not against hydraulic cluthes/brakes etc. (ThM-Norway)
I enjoyed the video. I listened carefully to all that was said during the ride on this Harley. I'm not real familiar with the new hydraulic clutch but, seems to me, it has a lot more advantages than the traditional cable clutch for a number of reasons. Love the blacked out look on these bikes.
Just happened to notice you said light changed and then you looked left right left and then you proceeded. Great move and a lesson for all.great review on a great bike .
I wish I had the 110 motor on my Fat Bob too. I am not a fan of the Fat Boy neither the floorboards and heel shift. Thanks for the review I think I'll stay with my Fat Bob. I wonder what sells better the Fat Bob or the Fat Boy? Thanks for taking us along for the review! Best to you Dave!
Thanks for watching! Unfortunately I don't see too many Fat Bob's on the street. They are good looking bikes and the majority of time, I don't see them in the Harley showrooms that I visit either. Guess I'm biased... :)
Is this bike good for tall guy? Im 6'4.. Really looking at getting a FatBoy but they look small in pics. Maybe the rocker is better suited for me? Cheers
Dude, get a pair of highway pegs and some ape hangers and you’ll be just fine. I have a friend who’s 6’5” 280-290 and he rides a Fat Boy with 16” apes and he rides that thing everywhere and he loves her. Make it fit for you.
i was at Harley dealer today looking for Fat Bob... cant believe it none in stock.. so I opted for the wide glide. the street bob wasn't doing it for me. really wish they had the fat bob. but wide glide felt good
Dude, I am 5’6” and 175 lbs. and I ride a 2015 Road Glide Special. Fat Boy S is just fine for you. Any of the Harley’s are fine if you know how to ride a Bike. You don’t have to be a big guy to ride a Harley, especially a fat boy s. If anyone tells you otherwise, they have no clue.
They are all good bikes in their own way. Choose what feels best to you. If they were all the same, we wouldn't have a choice. I found all of them to be quiet with factory exhaust. The level of loudness will vary by what type and brand of pipes you put on.
That's right... Im not sure why I didn't pick up on the "B" part. The Standard Fatboy's have the 103B's, and these have the Screamin' Eagle 110B with SPFI. My bad. I'm losing it now that I'm pushing 40. LoL
I disagree with you about floorboards - when I bought my HD Softail FX STC 2008 96cui - I had to stop many times because the pegs were tickling under my feet so much I just had to stop. If it was up to me, any large cui motorcycle should be mounted with floorboards - the "birdpins" are not for me, but I still have it on the new 2014 HD Lowrider 2014. I am thinking of to buy highwaypegs so I can strech my legs on a longer journey. Clutch by wire or hydraulic is what you get used to. One thing - I dont like HD Scooters - Street - Road - Electra. The two most ultimate motorcycles for me is: RoadKing and Heritage !
thm4855 Thanks for watching. I think if everyone liked the same thing, there wouldn't be any choices. I agree about the Road King and Heritage. They are both nice bikes and I'm looking forward to testing Road King Special soon.

Great reviews, honest and informative. Just bought a 2016 Fatboy Special from Metalheads here in Cape Town, South Africa.
Love your jacket.
Very cool!! Enjoy your new bike and congrats.
Nice review bro. I’m no fan of heel/toe shift and boards either but still love the Fatboy. So iconic. Ride safe! 🤙🏻

Thanks for watching! Remember, this is just my personal opinion of the bike. Lots of people really enjoy this model. :)
Just happened to notice you said light changed and then you looked left right left and then you proceeded. Great move and a lesson for all.great review on a great bike .
I have the exact same bike except for the Rinehart exhaust and tuner. Definitely a fast and sexy bike. Sounds nasty with the right exhaust too.
I've never used a hydraulic clutch either. What's the difference
Good reviews man,was wondering if when you get the time if you can do a review in the dyna wide glide? Keep up the good videos man
Anthony Kittle yeah, I can do that when I see one. :)
I love the heel shift
I found later that this is based off the Fat Boy Lo, which is why it felt so short to me...
I love mine!!!

smokeGR20 Yeah, for some reason, I don't see many Fat Bob's at the Harley dealers. Wide Glides are nice though!
Low sales is why...
Thanks for your honest review.
Thanks for watching. I'm just an average dude sharing my personal opinion. :)
Those are the best reviews. The ones by average dudes.
how big of a guy are you compaired to it, me im 5'7" 150lbs skinny frame guy I am, would that one be too large for me>?

Noel Martinez Tell them that I sent you the next time you go and maybe they will give you a discount. Probably not though. Hahaha
Harley Dave haha OK I will try anyway
110 engine? I thought those had the 103B??
JackG79 Nope. The S model has a 110.

Is the 110 much more powerful than the 103?
well do they

What's the difference between a Fat Bob and Fat Boy?
Troy Troy The Fat Bob is a Dyna and the Fat Boy is a Softail. 2 totally different frames and bikes. Thanks for watching!!
Harley Dave Thank you sir
23k....unless its a ducati i aint paying that for no bike
