    At 62 I just got a mint 2016 Fatboy Lo. Have an 04’ stage 4 hammer 1275 sportster that I bought new and still have for when I get a wild hair haha but loving the Fatboy. The low is a 103 and I do feel some vibe in the grips and can see it in the mirrors where my sporty mirrors don’t shake at all but all in all I’m happy with this bike.

    Man this bike looks and sounds fantastic. If only more people could be as open minded as you are and just enjoy the ride. I personally love sports bike, speed and the adrenaline that comes with it, but I would surely love to experience the low end torque of a Harley and cruise across the country while enjoying the scenery.

    i own one and it is an absolute ball, a great bike, i feel like im on my gsxr 1000 when on this, of course it isn't the same animal but it is nice 2 be on a cruiser and still have the power right there for you!

      Thanks, Chris. Yeah, this was my first Harley Davidson experience. I've been riding sport bikes for 25 years and tried various other types of bikes. This was a real treat, for sure. I've tried cruisers and thought of them as underpowered and not very capable, particularly with brakes. This Fatboy was sure footed, and could come to a stop pretty powerfully. I felt confident between the bike and I that we could handle the risk factors involved in that style of riding. Loads of fun.

      I'll tell you another bike that is a great ride, the Victory Vision, try that out I loved it. It was the most comfortable bike I have ever rode. I have always been a sportbike guy, I love my gsxr-1000, I just got the fatboy a month ago, my sportbike is going nowhere, but the cruiser is a nice adition lol. You have to have a complete set, a cruiser, sportbike, and touring bike. I will ride anything you give me, I have been on the m109, another great bike and ride, 84 Voyager a true classic, Heritage softail, the Road Glide are nice as well, both the baggers and the Ultra. I almost bought one of those, but that fatboy s just did it for me.

    Bikes a beauty and a gas saver , or good on gas . Vehicles don't always see us , and at times seems like they don't care , ride safe . Thanks for sharing

    There is a brand new( milwaukee 8) which is 107cu single cam with high 112 lb.ft torque that is more than you're 110cu with 108 lb.ft
    It is installed on 2017 Road king special so far
    I hope to be mounted on fat boy s either soon...

    Still missing a radiator, but a have faith that Harley will get there ome day. But the price is still too much for what you get, in term of reliabelity. I will keep riding my Thunderbird Storm.

      Alain Brisebois water cooled takes away from low end torque.... are you here to critisize a air cooled ? Im verrry happy my bikes air cooled

    • @alainbrisebois8334
      @alainbrisebois8334 8 лет назад

      Can't argue with blind faith. Keep riding your bike out of the city trafic on hot summer days.

    • @doylee469
      @doylee469 8 лет назад +1

      Alain Brisebois blind faith would be if I wasnt aware of liquid cooled, however thats not the case. Its a preference and thats why I have it. Btw the heat never got bad so I dont know what youre reffering to with the stay out of city traffic remark.... my yamaha raider works just fine in the city. I wouldnt have it any other way, and thats after testing many bikes... sports bikes and being liquid cooled are a whole other story.

    Harley-Davidson is torque, like Ford Very torquey and GM might have HP but lack torque lol I’ll own and ride a H-D and a Ford vs anything just how I roll. Hooah
