I checked curriculum of mtech industrial mathematics and scientific computing under math department. It looks like too heay, also 3rd semester has 4 compulsary elective, how student get time to prepare to placement. Please give insight of this issue.

Bhaiya I am civil engineering from iit indore but I want to do mtech from iit in computer science how can possible.
Find a decent coaching for GATE CSE, and start your prep by following them at beginning, over the time you’ll get to know almost everything about gate cse, thereafter you can make your own plans. Since you are from different background, I would recommend start as early as possible and understand every concept in depth, don’t rush through anything at all.

What is the procedure to apply forn stipend 12400?
It’ll be done by CS office itself. You need not to do anything special. There is a portal on which you will be filling your workflow by 20th of every month and stipend will be credited to your account before 1st of next month.
