It was a really nice sunset! Nope - we focused on lots of great food in Songkhla in our last video. This one a tribute to the town and what makes it special
Songkhla is indeed a beautiful and charming city. I have been there once but didn't have enough time to explore. So your vlog on Songkhla is of great help to me. There are many interesting places to visit and lots of amazing food around. Must visit it again when border opens. Woah, that night market was very lively with tons of food to choose. Thanks for showing and sharing with us this cool vlog. Have a new week ahead, guys. ✌️
Definitely a charming city! One day trip from Hat Yai was all it took to convince us to come back and stay longer. Great food and really nice place to walk around and explore. Highly recommend staying for at least a night! So much food at that night market. Thank you so much, Chaw! You too
The bamboo shade area is so nice and cooling. The whole area looks so lush and relaxing. That beach was really nice, and love that so many people were out enjoying the day.
I was traveling from Koh Lipe recently and had a few days to spare before my flight from Hat Yai airport back to Bangkok, so decided to visit Songkhla on a whim. It absolutely surprised me with its charm and laid back atmosphere. It is definitely one of my favorite towns in Thailand as well.
What amazing street art, the city looks like a dream. Beautiful beach, nothing like a place with a beach where you can just go relax. Is that a coconut ice cream? I would have to order coffee too! I totally understand Greg!
Such a charming city! It really has it all within walking distance too. Yup! She carves out the coconut meat and then adds in sticky rice, ice cream, peanuts and more
Another gem that I discovered from Greg and Jumi, thank you for sharing ..many I know would just tell me nothing nice about visiting Songkhla..but after watching both your vlogs , its definitely worth to visit and stay for sometime. great cinematic filming and great music selection..this vlog so creative and beautiful worth rewatching over and over just to immerse in the architecture and street art , cute, cost, relaxed feel, food, skyline, parks, most importantly too pedestrian friendly and clean..Yes, I saw Ken Abroad too ..with his GoPro.😂😂😂 yes, Ken already left for Northern Thailand exploration.... Somehow I just love being close to this kinda town with old architecture and never get bored ..though I also love NYC from RUclips vlogs I had watched..
Thank you so much for the kind words, SK! Really wanted to let the footage speak for itself and show the beauty and charm of this town. Highly recommend visiting next time you are in the area. Just 30-40 minute ride from Hat Yai. Haha good eye spotting Ken! That was from our day trip together where we realized we wanted to come back and stay here longer. We never got bored walking around the town with all it has to offer
@@FoodandFootprints Hatyai and Songkhla just a short drive away, I believe..but already see the difference in architecture.. A beautiful, clean and peaceful town. Now I know how Songkhla looks like. Thank you for showing us around. First time I see your vlog without any food recommendation. 😄
It is all of the above! Highly recommend visiting if you get the chance to. 😂😂😂 you’re right! Wanted to make a separate video all about the town itself
Digging the street art. We're in love with dope street art. Selena could've used that hat during our visit to Valley of Fire last month. You guys will see why but we both learned the necessity for hiking in the sun haha. Everything looks so empty, is it because it's on of the smaller Thai cities? Songkhla looks so peaceful. No wonder it's your fave.
It is more under the radar compared to other parts of Southern Thailand, but can imagine it is busier during more normal times. It is really nice and peaceful - love the old town and how you can still walk to the beach and have a whole different vibe
Yes! Love those kind beach roads anywhere in the world. Definitely want to explore the Catalonia coast someday too! We are all about that coastal beach life
Oh man, that beach area is just what we need right about now. Nothing wrong with ordering coffee late at night. Haha I (Maria) do the same thing. I want what Jumi is having!
Just watching you guys walk down those narrow streets and listening to the birds and see the beautiful architecture was so enjoyable and relaxing. I can see why you guys love this place so much. The beach looks like a perfect place to meet up with family and enjoy the day. I love this. Awesome video guys. I enjoyed this very much ⭐️🧡
What a cute town!!! The Chinese influence clearly does show. The street art is amazing. Wish I could draw like those guys. I bet you guys got over 10,000 steps easy.
