I travel a lot for my work and have this coupled with an XPS 15. Flawless compatibility, obviously, and matches my work flow when I'm back in my home office and using my main desktop monitor. Really handy for presentations to small groups too.
depends on your line of work but when your multitasking for work and get used to working with 2 or 3 monitors there’s no going back, not only is it a game changer its also a timersaver.
We share your opinion that having multiple monitors at home or work is a great advantage, but for people who require more mobility, this is an excellent option.

I just want a secondary small display for home setup as an addition to two of my 27 inch displays... For background youtube watching or spotify. But now Im searching for a portable display with 2 connection ports so I can have two of my devices connected - home PC and corporate laptop. Both of them are connected to my 2 27inch monitors. I wonder, if this portable display have autoswitch between devices if both ports are connecting, depending on which device is giving a signal at the moment?
Does it need power cable? Or just connect it with laptop and usbc cable will provide power to it? I always hate to connect monitor with power cable as most of time there will be no outlet close to you…
Thank you for the great question! Indeed, there's no need for a power cable; simply connect the USB-C cable to the monitor and the other end to your computer. How convenient is that!
I use this with my Apple iMac. Works without a flaw straight out of the box.

can you pug another monitor into the first monitor for a 3 monitor set up?
Thanks for your question. No, all monitors would have to run through the pc.
Get rid of the awful music next time
So distracting: not needed
