Is there an option for a 4k oled with true colour display for video creating? Taking my apple studio dispaly while travelling is just not possible unfortunately 😅
Did you end up getting one for yourself? I am debating to use a portable monitors for travel, and as a second monitor to my desktop when at home. I have not decided whether it is worth it or not. I'm thinking about lapdocks too. Again, is this actually useful when I can just bring my laptop for travels
I have a macbook primarily for school, but when I'm in a library it can be a bit of a hassle when you're reading cases and making case digests having to switch back and forth from one window to the next. But I also want to use it as a secondary monitor for accessing facebook while gaming. What would you recommend?
So funny and informative!! I was planning to buy another monitor but decided to buy a portable monitor instead because I can use it as my second monitor for my laptop when travelling or outside of my home since my work really needs more monitor. Thanks a bunch for the information!!
heyman before i get racunned? is that even a verb, anyway, how do you connect this to pc to be a secondary monitor? Thanks man! honestly, you deserve more subs!
So could I use this device to plug it into my main pc/my first monitor and use it as a second monitor? Or is it just compatible with laptops and not with a pc and standalone monitor already?
Don't sleep on the Asus Strix XG17 monitor with an IPS panel, 240 Hz refresh rate, 3ms response time, 1080p with freesync, mini hdmi and usb-C inputs if you're a gamer on the go. I haven't been able to find a gaming monitor at 17.3" form factor with these specs.
I never knew a tech video could be so entertaining. Thanks for the info!
Glad you enjoyed it mate!
"The Robin to your Batman"🤣, that was the best😂😂👍
When you said "Rabbit Hole", I was sold on This Guy!
Mate, you have no idea how many of those I've dug in my yard. It's a miracle anything still grow.
Want the viewsonic 15.6 oled bit pricy here in the UK though.
Would use it with my Steam Deck.
how does one use something like this to plug in their phone and covert it to a desktop for basic browsing tasks?
If you have a Samsung phone, it just takes a usb C dongle, and it automatically converts the phone to a simple desktop experience

Hot take, any pc with juice to run it properly is gonna be as portable. It's very niche IMO.

Can I use my sam sung S23 dex with a touch screen monitor?
Usb c to usb c should work.
@MOBHouse I picked up the viewsonic td1655 and using my S9+ with it and it works way better then expected

Glad it was helpful!
I could use it as an extrenal monitor for my laptop for color accuracy.
Get the oled one
what's your phone? :)
Not an iPhone
I move around and have a laptop with an LCD panel, so I use the portable display to play games. 😅
not a bad idea!
I have a LCD laptop screen with Video controller
just found on store checking monitors onlinea ns when i found it was weird like for what purpose are they made
It seems I don't have any reason yet to buy it lol
Probably buy if the monitor bigger than my laptop and is foldable or something
Anyway good sharing!
It's good as a secondary monitor. As well as give ur phone a lil more functionality for work.
I'm guessing this portable monitor has a keyboard, but it's sold separately?
However, you can get the highest brightness when adding power to the remaining USB Type C port.
Yes but adding a power bank to the mix does not make the setup anymore portable IMO. Also you need one that supports fast charging as well.
17.3 is enough for play games ? Look small
Mobile games is a thing, so why not?
Review the cheap cheap under 500 ringgit please
They work. How long will they last is another question
Liked it in 10s because there is not enough info on it. It is a rabbit hole!
Yea bro
Upon seeing the VP16-OLED, I realized that I'm Bangsatwan rather than Bangsawan.
