I used the VHS tapes from king schools in the early 2000-2001 to pass my written 98% I would fall asleep night after night listening to these tapes.
Aced my oral the examiner said I was one of the best prepared students he had questioned in a while.
I did screw up on where two class E airspace met with different floors or ceilings I don’t remember which. I was trying to remember I completely forgot about the legend on the chart. The examiner simply pointed to the legend and asked if I was ready to go fly. Two hours later I had my temporary ticket.
I'm not joking, if I ever see this guy in public I am buying him a beer.
super easy to understand. I couldn't understand this for the life of me, but after watching this 6 minute video, i feel confident in answering this question on the test
no it's not..... how did he get the arrows there?
God Bless you guys. The way you teach is much clearer than the syntactical warfare they put in the books and notes!
Thanks so much!
I'm LOST without these videos.
The Kings make everything so easy to understand. Thanks!
Might be the best VOR video on youtube
Been itching to watch this video, finally found time! Glad I did I'm not a pilot but will be one day so all this learning is awesome! 😄

Agreed!
John and Martha’s original video series was an exponential help when working on my PPL.
Best way to study ground school lessons, imho.
They make everything sooo much easier to understand/comprehend … a huge confidence builder!

Glad you enjoyed it
Excelentt
No wonder Santa missed my chimney last year because I got nothing for Christmas.
Where are these arrows coming from with Elizabeth City and Norfolk?
Can you show how to determine position... I'm so confused
why wouldnt the standard be to run two of these instruments, that automatically lock to the closest two signals, and relay the coordinates automatically? all of that can be done mechanically easy enough. can't be to save $100 on a 40k+ plane. so why?
🤗
This scale is very unrealistic as we would never be using it to measure the distance in a real life event. I think we should at least get a paper chart so we could measure it with a plotter.
A VOR 😂😂
SO WHAT ABOUT MY GPS AND YES I TRACK MY LOCATION AS I GO by looking out the window. No longer fly at night. I STILL CARRY PAPER CHARTS EVEN THOUGH MOST ARE DATED I DO NOT THINK THE AIRPORTS HAVE MOVED. MOST PLACES I GO I HAVE BEEN TO MANY TIMES. And if I get lost I will land at the nearest Walmart and ask for directions
