Woman of an exquisite taste. One of a kind. Absolutely timeless
it seems like Elsa Peretti single handedly built the edgy aesthetic that so many fashion fans are influenced by today. Her designs have a superb element to them that just gets stuck in my thoughts, personally. What a testament to human creativity ..
My family has collected Tiffany pieces for generations. My great grandparents started the tradition back in the 1910s! We all have various Tiffany pieces. When my grandmother died I was given her entire Peretti collection. I never knew the history behind them. This was a very cool video to watch for me. I understand why granny loved Elsa. Its obvious she admired her.
I've come here after watching Halston on Netflix. The question it raises for me is, why are the great women artists overlooked for egotistical male artists and designers? She was treated as a bit part in the Halston story, but the more I learn about her it is obvious she was an astonishingly talented and uniquely spirited woman and led a far more interesting, philanthropic and productive life than Halston.
Although the series was Halston, not perretti.
Well because the show is called Halston, not Peretti.
When they make a show called Peretti, Halston will be treated “as a bit part in the Peretti story”.
Same here watched Halston ….
Beautiful, funny and classy lady.❤ I bought one of her rings today. I cannot wait to wear it;)
She was gorgeous ❤❤❤🔥🔥🔥🔥. I just saw Halston on Netflix! What a powerful force!
Beautiful and classy! Love the Halston Netflix series!
I agree
A beautiful woman surely has a beautiful mind.
I had no idea that Tiffany’s iconic designs were designed by Elsa Peretti. Respect! Now I know, after hearing about discovering her via Halston on Netflix.
Rest in Peace Elsa, your designs made me fall in love with Tiffany & Co.
She lived her life to the full and accomplished a lot too. Formidable.
Elsa so much class ,so much talent
These beautiful talented humans give us all these beautiful gifts and then they die! It seems so unfair! Someone should’ve sat down with her and let her tell her story on video! She was a walking treasure! RIP beautiful one ❤️🙏🏽
Beautiful post!
Love her and her designs. True artist
Thank you so much for providing this rare glimpse of such a fascinating and talented woman...what a rich full life she has!
*had.
Rest in beautiful peace Elsa .... x
She definitely lived!
Elsa Peretti was an iconic designer for Tiffany in the 70's like Paloma Picasso was in the 80's. I remember that for years all I saw of Tiffany's ads were Elsa's designs. She has been a world renown designer for a long long time.
Lovely woman Elsa ,her strenght comes from ,doing what is right for her philosophy ,not caring who did what before or after her ,I do the same ..
she is amazing and stunning love her
I’ve admired her work so much it’s awesome to have these things captured on camera 🎥
Man I have watched halston on Netflix, she is potrayed awesomely.
Hidden gem. So good
RIP Elsa! Love you.
Elsa was a genius👩⚕️
Bought a perretti diamond necklace from Tiffany's after watching Halston. Love it💕
Yo la he conocido y fue una mujer fascinate, maravillosa, no hay adjetivos para poder calificarla. Donde estés, un beso muy grande 😘😍❤️
RIP Elsa Peretti 🥀🥀🥀🥀🥀🥀🥀🥀🥀🥀🥀🥀🥀🥀🥀🥀🥀
Class all the way!
The eighties were the end of so many amazing aspects of American HIGH Art, Design, Quality, Craftsmanship, Retail, Artisans etc.
R.I.P. Elsa Peretti
"I like for people to give me orders, but i hate it when they are wrong". Man I can relate to that. I dont want be in charge, I just want to crate cool shit and be left alone.
She finished well.
True artist with an amazing soul.
I have her bone cuffs. I have her scorpion necklace. I love her aesthetic and her personality. It's a shame she's gone.
Fabulous
Brava
Great show, but I admit that the snapping of take-board is pretty annoying. I feel it contradicts the Peretti smoothing style. But that`s probably just me :)
Same ^
She left us as well. First Alber now her: it seems like true elegance has chosen in 2021 to move to the 7th heaven.
That poor goldfish...zero creature comforts.
I realize that "E" of The Incredibles is a combination of Elsa Peretti and Edith Head. Anyway, I love her clean organic designs.
To her father: I am free. The right of all people. She personified That human right that transcends religion and government, and social constructs…all of them. Thus she freely discovered the universe and converted that to beauty. Amen.
What a crazy luxurious opulent decadence brilliant eccentric life
I can only think of the poor goldfish stuck in such a tiny place for aesthetic purposes..... stopped watching 😣😣
Love you Elsa Perreti 💕 By the way .. where can I get that FISH 🐠 BOWL???!?!?! 🤩
✨🕊✨
Using a fish in a tiny and empty glass as a mere object for decoration purposes... D.I.S.G.U.S.T.I.N.G.
Awesome artist. She extols self-deprecation when speaking of her talent in comparison to Halston and Charles James. Not so,Ms Peretti. You are a genie in the true since. My only admonishment is that clapper.Tacky and not worthy of Ms.Peretti or anyone else of this caliber
18:37 “Think about when you design.”
Those leggggggggsssss though....🤩
Du sel s'il vous plait
Love her so much. But you have to admit she was higher than James brown here.
Maybe it's the ptsd
Go slowly.
Leenda
Her mouth speaks in english but her body speaks in italian. So funny.
She was still on coke till the end😂
“She was lucky” who tf narrated this? Awful
The wicked gram temporarily walk because passive comparatively snore vice a rigid ounce. tedious, sparkling hen
She is like a man 😂
And still that man is 1000 % more classy than you
Her English still was bad
And?
Supremely talented and lovely woman. Will be missed.
Remarkable
