    I love how you say you have no idea what you’re doing😂 taking that base off what’s the right call, I love how you gravitate towards 80s and 90s furniture and bring into there and now! This turned out beautifully and your tips just make sense. I know filming these and trying to pay your bills is time consuming, so thank you for your content! I appreciate you! 👍🏻

    Note to self...invest in small dollies ...
    I have been scooping up decent quality pallets for free...with sweat equity I'm going to build my own work shop and make furniture and cat condos...you would be surprised what people throw out when done projects! I have started refurbishing my old furniture too.

    Love the elevated look taking the base off and adding the legs added! Amazing!

  • @rockshot100

    Unique, but not freak. Removing the skirt from this made all the difference. The legs look custom made for this. Black hardware over the black body really does work, not something most would do, though. The original hardware wasn't bad, but there was too much of it on the top drawers. The new does look current now.
    I have never heard of the light stain that is a stain and not a white wash. It's also a nice touch to provide touch up and cleaning instructions with the sale, it shows you care.
    I cannot find new furniture made this well now at any price. I wouldn't doubt the buyer's grandchildren will eventually own it. Low key style, but elegant. Fantastic job.

    Great job, but I do have two questions. 1. How do you recommend hiding the filled in hardware holes (I could still see them on the finished product) and 2. Do you recommend prepping and refinishing the insides and sides of the drawers as well?

    Great to see the finished piece after watching your Live stream (FYI did you forget to post the link above?). The feet look really great, nice choice of style. As a new business I really liked Tip 5 customer appreciation for repeat business. I'll add this to my business as it is low cost/high return. Right now I offer people a 10% discount for repeat business and so far it has received good vibes and 2 customers have taken advantage of it. But, my bigger issue is initial sales, not repeat business - FB Mplace is such a swamp of scammers, ghosters, etc, its so energy draining compared to the furniture restoration side that I love...

    • @LemonstoLemonadeFurniture
      @LemonstoLemonadeFurniture  Год назад

      I look to see what other flippers price for in my area. A good starting point (in my opinion) is double the price of the piece and double the price of your materials. SO on this one it would be $200 + $200= $400 at least you know you have more than broke even. However...dressers like these sell for around $700 in my area so I would be WAY underpriced BUT I would know I made my margins and I would know I could ask for more next time! Hope that helps! That's how I started.
