Enjoying your build. That said you could have done this much cheaper. I did it for around 250 just using a salvage yard Saturn Vue (iirc) motor and an eBay sourced pintometer
Definitely could have been done cheaper. I thought the kit would save me some time in fab work in doing the DIY process. I was wrong. If I were to do this again, I would definitely just make my own kit.
Was wondering about the EPAS Performance unit. For the money it should be an almost plug-and-play installation. I'll go another route if I decide to use my manual rack. Thanks.
Same system I’ll be using for my 66 but also picked up a Ididit steering column. Keep it up! P.s I put some videos of the ecoboost 66 f100 for ya! Enjoy and have a great weekend.
Sir, I own monkey fab. I’d love to help you out. Check out our store. It’s vet owned and I run it with my friends. I appreciate your work here. I’ve been looking for a good swap from my 83 fairmont and just was not feeling the coyote. This looks so good. Anyway reach out to us.
Make sure you have a collapsing/telescoping section in your steering shaft, its a very important safety measure. Don't want a solid steel shaft pointed right at your chest. How difficult was it to drive around with the manual steering rack? I am considering getting rid of my power steering to make room for A/C. Great video as always, glad you spent the money on this before I did haha
It wasn't too bad to drive without power steering. Just a bit annoying in parking lots. If this were a dedicated track car I would 100% keep it manual steering.
i bet a big turbo install is next
and then probly a radio install after. only logical order
This looked like an easy upgrade. As my one friend would say. Fun, Fun!

What chop saw is that? Looks like a neat setup, too bad it isn't install friendly.
Not sure on the chop saw brand, my buddy gave it to me after I helped him install a supercharger on his mustang.

The kit for the 66 looks much more complete. I will check out your videos tonight.

The Fairmont would really move with one of the V6 Ecoboosts! I sent you a DM on Instagram.
