I always thought the Psycho Sid character was much better than the Sid Justice character he portrayed in WWE/F
@Bear Crow Motega they aren't even in the same ballpark
Psycho sid was over asf during that 1996-1997 period that entrance he made at ss 96 and winning the belt was one of the best moments and reactions in wrestling history kind of gives you goosebumps
@Bear Crow Motega He said he left in 92 because of the Warrior
@@bmstyty3549 Sid was in WWF/E in late 1995 as well.
Agreed
I loved Sid's character back in the day.
Sid is the greatest softball player to ever live.
One of them he is up their
The Babe Ruth of the Softball Beer Leagues 😂🤣
I like to imagine his WWF theme music hits as he is walking up to the mound.
Sid scared the hell out of me when I was a kid
Dam I remember when Sid broke his Leg in Wcw
Sid was one of the GOATS. Always got a big pop and was the champ in both organizations
Plus he was over big time during his brief stint in ECW, a promotion that usually shit on WWF Wrestlers. Absolutely insane reactions to him.
I liked Sid better than Diesel. Sid was the shit. But I take Taker over Sid, everytime Sid got hot, he left and did something else. I loved Sid. Sid did have it, but he just never took it serious
I still have never seen him in a match
@@user-hc9qv9yb9m they treated Sid like a Attraction person. Because he didn't take it too serious. He got over really well in the wwe. All of his theme music was good. He always scared the shit out of me, because I thought he was really the ruler of the world. He didn't wrestle much but he did pretty darn good. Vader was nice as well.
@@dontreldontrel416 I legit think everytime the old wrestlers get the hinting some guys needed hygiene attention they were all talking about Vader.
People who often didn't live during the time forget Sid was super over in '96. One of my favorite WWF PPVs is '96 Survivor Series. Sid was the heel, Shawn was the babyface. The crowd outside of women & children were solidly with Sid for the most part. Great times man.
Yeah I was so hyped to see him become a mega star but lost hope in him after so many hellos and good byes.
I will always love the character
I only noticed pro wrestling cause of sycho sid in 96, otherwise my dad had been watching it regularly, didnt interest me, but the reactions sid got, his cool entrances, his sycho gimmick, the fist bumps, the powerbombs and chokeslams, that got me hooked just in time to see him beat shawn, bret, hhh, mankind, etc.
Sid's jerricurl ruled the world
Sid is still the man!
If a young Sid was in the WWE now, he would be as over as rover.
Sid was over everywhere he went.
Wcw 99?
@@patrickruth153 uhhh yeah? he used to come out and double chokeslam cruiserweights directly through the earth right to hell.
@@FHRiley-yk9by yeah but it was unnecessary heat is all I’m saying
THE BUSINESS NEEDS MORE "OFFICE" GUYS LIKE JR....
KIND, FRIENDLY, GOES OUT HIS WAY FOR TALENT
We're live pal.
I can only imagine being on the opposing softball team and underhanded pitching to the ruler of the world. I would to watch Sid destroy softballs in a "rage."
I bet the pitcher was wearing a cup and a mouth guard
I even bought a Sid shirt from the WWF magazine back then. I waited and waited and he never came back.
Sid will be the only inductee to the WWE and Softball Halls Of Fame.
JimRoss#1
Am i the only one who see's Sid as Sabretooth from the 90s X-men cartoon.
Sid's character was never the same to me after his first WWE run, same with Warrior
Sid won a world title in WWE
NUFF SAID!
That not saying much.....
Ummmm
Miz...lol
So did McMahon 😂
@@sese6227
Mcmahon is awesome though.
And the might he won the title was an awesome night of wrestling.
Good times doubt it not.
Sid was the man!
Sid was always one of my favorites he wasn't a technical wrestler but he was believable
Sid could have been so much more with his amazing look and natural intensity. That alone sold him
the son will be amazing if aew treats him proper. pillman that is
Two guys that could not get out of their own way: Sid and Marty Jannetty !!!
Who remembers that raw in 1997 weeks after wrestlemania where sid was scheduled to face mankind but didnt show up and austin replaced him in the mainevent match. its like im the only one who saw that raw. That was the night he was in a real life car accident with flash funk, since then he didnt recover much from his injury and was eventually let go.taker was give a clean win at raw cause it was known sid wasnt 100 percent ready to be full time involved due to injury issues still lingering.
He would get cheered as a heel or babyface!
Sid definitely had It but it felt like he did not want it which was sad. He was a once in a lifetime talent but something always kept him from going all in.
Sid made a lot of money playing softball
The Brian Pillman story is sad
I never understood why he didn't become a major star. Yea, he couldn't wrestle but either could Hulk Hogan. He had the attitude and the look
I'll just leave this here....
www.dailymotion.com/video/x5i7i6
He was a major star. Almost his entire career he was a main eventer. Walked into each company and was spotted right in the main spot working with the top guys. Only a star can do that
Hulk could wrestle, he just didn't need to. Watch his stuff in Japan....it speaks for itself.
I dare Jim Ross to throw a softball down the middle to sid.
Wow
Jim always speaks highly of Pillman. Seems like they were close
I was legit scared of Sid & The Undertaker.
'It took an act of God to stop the runaway train'.
Since he was "Vicious" in WCW/NWA, Vince just had to give him a new name. Why Justice before Sycho?
I can't go 3 minutes without stupid ad's stopping the video, I hate what youtube has become...
what steroids do i have to take to look like 1995 sid vicious
He a lot more muscle in late 80s early 90s I think 1995 sid not has juiced
@Greg Bailey yeah there not magic pill give muscles there quiet dumb. You have put in the work they try taking them sitting ass just mess there body up.it’s like boxing and MMA people think you can take steroids fight. You still hard hard on steroids if got bad diet not work to well.1995 sid looks natural
All of them
@Greg Bailey lol nobody said you wont have to work hard but if it was not for roids Arnie would still live in Austria instead
An 11 minute video title “JR shoots on Sid” and 10:00 of it has nothing to do with Sid.
Sid was awesome..and he could have become even bigger..91/92 he should have become the man (Hogans spot)..i think the Steroid Investigation was the biggest problem...
Nah, the biggest problem was the "that's not gonna work for me brother".
Never cared too much about him was always kind of meh, one cool scene was when he went apeshit on the barbershop
Showed how INTELLIGENT he really is.....lol
The pops he got, obviously said differently.... People loved Sid lol
Tell the truth for once in ya life JR; Sid Eudy was 6 foot 6. Is that so hard to say.
Stop saying "rumor and innuendo"
It's been documented that Jim Ross hating ass didn't want to push SID yet he was "over" with the crowd. Remember Jim Ross did this with RVD. JR cant blame Vince you was his right hand man 🤔
can we start over?
Never got Sid’s popularity. Intense look, yes. That’s it
Intensity, agility, athleticism, sold-well for his opponents, great-look, always in shape, and........his promos. The few times when he was _on_ he was a good-promo. The numerous-times he was _off_ was also a good-promo just from the comedy-standpoint.
He also had that "it" factor. He was believable. His promos in 1992 made you believe that he was a legit KILLER. He was a bigger, stronger, faster, and more athletic-version of Hulk Hogan.
That's what I think Vince saw in him, and in my opinion THAT'S why Sid was popular.
@@D2Kprime Yup!
@@D2Kprime nah all he had was looks and a little promo skills but he had no agility, athleticism or speed whatsover unlike Taker and he was not that strong either compared to the likes of Nash, Kane and Taker
He had everything. Best promos in the business
He should of just of asked for time off
I actually thought when that happened when stone cold did that angle with him, austin breaking into his house in all that, it put so much stress and anxiety on Brian Pullman, that’s what lead to his death, but no it wasn’t.
Nothing to bad about playing softball to rehab an injury. All he was DH'ing and he smashed the ball almost everytime he swung so he wasn't stealing bases or sliding into second for doubles.
