Awesome! We often get confused about the self love/acceptance stuff. It's not ego. It doesn't mean you think your better than others. People assume self improvement is fueled by self hatred. It's the exact opposite. We wouldn't go digging around in the park looking for peaces of shit to polish. If we think of ourselves as shit, we treat ourselves like it. That's what fuels being lazy and settling for a shitty life.
There's two different types of ego good ego: think you're better than anyone else bad ego: think you're worse than anyone else (insecure/unable to reach out for assistance) the point is to reach a healthy level of ego which lies in middle
Ty, useful. Today I was on my way to buy some guitar stuff & I stopped approaching recently, but I saw that girl, she was over the top hot and very stylish. So I managed to get myself to approach (I'm experienced) and it went better with every instance of me being cocky & even bragging a little bit as things progressed on. So we have spent 3 hours together, physicality and all that good stuff. But I forgot to seek the pull, so when I invited her to record some music she didn't go (or just not so fast it's ok). Just felt like sharing, probably this will help some people, who struggle as I do. Plus making sure you have a life set up in ways that prove that you are worthy. If you decide to go to the gym & then don't go, suddenly it's gonna be harder to approach that girl the next day.
"I deserve to be happy." Is close but "I deserve to be loved." is closer BUT we humans are wretched creatures and ones with humility know we dont deserve love BUT the real breakthrough comes when you realize God THE God loves us despite what weve done and once that is internalized your entire life changes in major major ways.
