I would love to see more vintage doll content. This video made me really happy because I loved my Little Miss Makeup. I remember getting it the same Christmas as the Barbie Winter Garden. Miss these vintage dolls and regret selling old dolls on flea markets as a teen to get a bit of cash. My favourite underrated and mostly forgotten doll ranges are Lady Lovely Locks and Cherry Merry Muffin. Am I the only one nostalgic for them?
I feel you. I moved around a lot so i had to downsize. i either gave away or sold my old toys. I had several of these and then the rollerblading doll similar to her. I now am hunting them cuz of the mastalgia and memories cuz i collect dolls.

I had a Lil' Miss Singing Mermaid and I LOVED her!!! I actually gave away the My Pretty Mermaids doll I had to my cousin when I got Lil' Miss Singing Mermaid for Christmas.
Aww, I remember these, the commercials for them were on TV all the time in the early 90's. Hasbro also released a lot of Toddler sized fashion dolls like Starla, Chloe Charms, Twist 'n Style Tiffany, but around 1995 dolls like these seemed to vanish off the face of the earth. To me they always looked like Doll styling heads with bodies attached to them, as the gimmick was always in their hair or face.
Wow I never even heard of this doll! It might not have come to Denmark, or maybe because I mostly played with Lego and cars. But I still remember getting Barbie peaches and cream for Christmas in 1984 she is definitely my holy grale. 😁 I only have the reproduction today unfortunately.
OHHH MY GOD I remember being 3 years old and my cousin had Lil Miss Magic Hair and I was over her house one summer for a family party and when I found her I DID NOT PUT HER DOWN. My parents literally had to rip her away from me when we left and I was just hysterically crying and throwing a tantrum on the car ride home. Ohh the good ole’ days

Okay so… I REMEMBER these, I never had one, but I had a hand me down PJ Sparkles from a cousin (same era/style of Mattel) and SHE WAS SO PRETTY. I recently found her and ended up selling her cheap because her dress was ruined, she didn’t work anymore, and the rhinestones had fallen out of her eyes - but I have every intention of replacing her with one in good condition eventually. The late 80s/90s was such a good era for Mattel. I also loved my Sally Secrets!!
The triple change is the only one I have ever had. I still owe it, but I have it in my old room in Italy… did not get to move her yet to NY. My cousin had the one where you stick gems on her dress and hair. I used to love it but I doubt she still has it.
I saw one of the lil miss dolls at a thrift store with the box. They had it behind the glass counter cuz they wanted $30 for it. I was so tempted but I couldn't afford it. I had one of these dolls growing up and i took the underwear off her and put on a teddy bear i carried with me everywhere, but then left it behind in Kmart and was so upset. my dad went back and it was gone not even turned into lost n found. I guess some other kid found it and took it. Atleast it wasn't the doll. I had the Velcro stones on the dress one. I loved decorating her hair and dress. California roller baby is one i loved too cuz she actually skated.
I wanted lil miss makeup so bad. I had one that had a pink dress and you would pull her arm and her hair would grow. Cant remember the name on the fly tho! These and magic nursery babies
Yes, Lil Miss dolls! I got Lil Miss Magic Hair for my birthday in the early 90s and still have her, minus her skirt and shoes. I also had the black version of Wee Lil Miss Bedtime. She had this green and pink outfit and crimped ponytails and hot/cold water would change her eyes from open to closed. I kept my old dolls in pretty good condition, but around 10 yrs ago decided I wasn't doing anything with them and got rid of her and some other good quality stuff. I regret it big time.
This Nostalgic Content is everything! I loved these dolls when i was growing up. I was always very into Dolls Mostly Barbie but of course you couldn't ignore the cute factor of the late 80's and 90's dolls. I had (probably still do in storage) Lil Miss Makeup, Mermaid, and magic jewels. For some reason I thought there were more of these but they may actually be other dolls that had a similar vibe and just remind me of them.
Awww OMG yes I used to have Lil miss Mermaid with the bright pink lips and Wee Lil miss makeup, I remember her having super long thick crimped hair. I miss my childhood dolls, my now ex-stepdad threw them all out😞

I sold 4 before + 1 mermaid +1 busted mermaid (which I gifted) + 3 wee lil miss. Which I regret. Planning to Rebuy Recently, I got 2 lil miss, the one that arrived (today), I'm not sure if she's a repro lil miss or not. The Singing Mermaid I sold went to my friend. I might be able to buy her back through convincing.
I think the mermaid you demonstrated the singing on is a European version. I'm mostly familiar with the Miss Makeup (since it's the one I have) and I know those look different in Europe and the US, but I think it was the same with the others and it looks to me that the mermaid has some European features
