  • In case of low beam failure most of the time either the ballast is faulty or the xenon igniter (or the xenon bulb itself). Watch for the details.

      Which year is your W211? You have adaptive type headlights, right?

      @@xenonland Oh wow.. Thank you very much For your quick response. My vehicle year is 2005 E500 and I have bi xenon headlights. I would like to get ut knocked out, I dont like seeing that massage when car shuts off...lol

      Do you get exactly "active headlamps display malfunction" message or "active headlamps inoperative"? If you have active headlamps inoperative message it means that the adaptive function is not working properly.

      @@xenonland "Active headlamps display function" is what comes up. I have tried the turn steering wheel right, left still errors out.

      I have headlights that do not support active corner leveling..
      I do not have the second ballast you mentioned installed and my low bea driver side works fine
      My passenger side low beam does not turn on tho even with new bulb.
      Should I buy a new igniter switch + ballast combo on ebay or is there a way to test my ballast/ igniters maybe by switching the driver side parts to the passenger side.
      As well as I got new h7 high beams that do not turn on any clue how I can get them working?
