  • My 09 Mercedes passenger side front lights were not working at all (head, running, flasher, and fog) something must be loose under the floor. Watch to see what I'm talking about. If you know what, and why this might happen, please let me know.

    Man I was pulling hair out trying to figure this out with my 08 CLS550. Checked the grounds and connections in the passenger footwell like what he’s saying and sure enough the headlight started working again. If I didn’t happen to come across this video I’d still be trying to figure out the issue. Even experts couldn’t give advice. Thanks for this!!!

    This has sorted my cls 320 2007 diesel right out in the UK..! Thank you so much for this…an electrician couldn’t figure this issue out so one has to assume it is the headlight module box issue

    In MB world form it was mentioned the casing for SAM, we call it the fuse box here, had pressed onto the bundle of wires under it. Over time the physical pressure from the hard edge of the box/casing had damaged the wire. In MB world to they even posted the schematic of fuse box and wiring to the right head lights.
    With the fuse box cover opened you could trace the wires from the headlights as a bundle & going under the fuse box/casing.
    Today, without unscrewing the fuse box casing, I pressed down the bundle of wire with finger tips and saw what looks like a bit of damage wire. I shim the bundle of wires using a piece of soft rubber. I am not mechanically inclined. So I will get my workshop to have a look and also for them to learn and benefit their other clients.🤔🤔🤔 Regards

    I’m having an issue almost similar, The low beam don’t work but the high beam does. Where do I go to check the grounds and connections?

    Whats up Bro! I was looking around for help and I saw your video here. I installed new leds on my car yesterday, but they acting weird. All the lights were working fine before and then one day my main lights (low) went off, I figured I just had to replace them but when I did to leds I found out there was an issue. The lows wont work and in order to have lights at night what I did was that I fused the wires together so now I have to use high beams for it to work also if I turn off my car one light stay on. How do I fix it man? :(

    I had a similar problem. I replaced all the parts like igniter, ballast and bulb. It was a bad ground in the passenger compartment footwell. This is a bad design. I also had an s55 with ground issues in the same place

    How do I change the fuse for brake lights drive side?

    • @ztpgarage
      @ztpgarage  6 лет назад

      Mehran Zandipour I’m not sure. You have 3 fuse panels. One under the hood, one on the side panel on the driver side dash. And one in the rear. There’s a sheet that tells you what all the fuses go to. It’s in the fuse panel in the dash.
