Ma'am Ranjani & Gayathri, this is our place Srirangapatna! When were you here? So we missed you... Great artists visiting our place! Very nice rendition! Thank you.

He entered brindavana at Srirangam (South Chittirai street) in the month of Jyeshta bahuLa Chaturthi. In c.1412 he initiated a young boy as sanyAsi-sishya and named him Lakshminarayana Tirtha, who went on to become Sripadaraja Tirtha- the stalwart of mAdhva world. By c.1412 Sri Swarnavarna Tirtha was quite aged but still carrying out nitya pUjA of Srihari with the help of young Sripadaraja. One day Sri Ranganatha's procession came near the maTha and Sri Swarnavarna longed to have darshana of Lord. Sri Sripadaraja carried his fragile Guru in his arms and brought him to the front yard of the maTha. Sri Ranganatha was still away from the maTha and the aged Guru was trying to have a clear vision of Him. The revered Guru kept a hand above his eyes and was trying hard to get a glimpse of Ranganatha's mUrti. Young Sripadaraja looked at the devotional fervor of his Guru and contemplated on the usefulness of indriyA-s, particularly the eyes. Sripadaraja knew well that his Guru takes darshana of Supreme Godhead in his inner consciousness every minute. But to the external world, he was showcasing the struggle of an aged person suffering from poor eyesight. The mere thought of this triggered the poet in Sripadaraja. He instantaneously composed the kIrtana "kangaLidyAtakO kAvEri rangana nODada" [What's use of those eyes that don't see Kaveri Ranga] that highlighted the main purpose of having a set of fully functional eyes. Specially liked the Bahudari in the beginning!!!! Really brought the vibe thru.... Of course the whole ugabhoga was fantastic coz it was rendered by THE sisters after all!!! :)))))
Too good to express in simple words. Only makes me feel more desperate to be their Student for the rest of my life. Next to nothing Sindhubhairavi by RaGa Sisters. Would love to see a concert of these sisters with Akkarai Sisters... Would want to see more of them playing violin.
One of my favorite songs, even though I am not a native kannadiga I understand the meaning enough to enjoy the sahithyam. This song is divine in your voices 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you so much for the Mysuru Musical travelogue. Brought back fond memories of my hometown, Kaveri and my Paati (who was fond of the Ranganatha temple). Thank you for the lovely words in the intro about Mysuru as well. So aptly put!
I am from Mysore and have seen Kaveri Ranga with my eyes. But your singing, akkas,I so heart touching that one who has not seen Kaveri Ranga with his own eyes, will be able to see him by listening to you both.Your singing brings Kaveri Ranga in front of our eyes.I am weeping with joy as I write this.God Bless you both.
Today I subscribed eppo music and heard your Mysore travelloge. Being a Mysorian l wanted to hear the whole programme. It is very beautiful. I have heard you in Bidaram Rama mandira last Ramanavmi. This is very nice as usual. 👏👏🙏🙏
I couldn’t agree more to many of the comments here. Ranjani ma’am’s ethereal quality of voice (Contralto) and Gayathri ma’am’s incredible pitch (Soprano) - to die for. My pranaams mesDames. 🙏
Simply divine, soulful, marvelous rendition. Got goose bumps in so many places. Just found myself before Sri Ranganathar at Srirangam! You both are always my favourite singers . God bless ! 👏👏👏👏👏💐💐💐💐💐
This rendition would remain special for us for two wonderful reasons. One, a soulful rendition of Kangal Idyatako in Kannada set to one my favourite ragas Sindhubhairavi. Second, it has been sung at Shree Ranganathaswamy Temple, Srirangapttanam on the banks of river Kaveri, adding this to my hometown Mysore's diaries! Thank you to you both 🙏🏻
I still recall the fond memories of discovering you both by serendipity . That's an unforgettable moment . And where from do you both exude such untainted divinity. .... The starting of the ugabhoga with the ever pleasing Ranjani mam's bahudari made it enriched .. i guess Ranjani mam must give the start for each and every song .. she sings with so much bhava and beauty . All this would be an understatement .. she is just out of the world and i completely now down in obeisance . No other way to surrender than prostate before you both .. you music is more than heart melting and soul stirring .. these words are mere understatements to put forth in all description . But there must be more adjectives which i dont know of . Oh man !! Gayatri mam you are just awesome . What a heart stabbing Sindhubhairavi you started off and gave an apt end in all its glory . The connection between gayatri mam and Sindhubhairavi is brilliant . She reflects the raga with all grandeur it deserves and her creations make me mouth widened with shock and bewilderment for they are beyond imagination. I'm actually stupefied by listening to Gayatri mam . My comment may seem superfluous .. yeah but that's all I experience. Both of you are the personification of divinity . That rajuvedala on the banks of kaveri . Its just heaven on earth . Kaveri touches your feet in all exuberance and you sing that beautiful song of tyagaraja in all glory. Like two ever shining suns you execute it with ease . My favourite was the song on rajarajeshwari in bhogavasantha . That was so rare and so heart touching. What a beautiful and serene voices you two possess. It goes on and on . Ps my biggest blessing was that i got to meet you in person and speak to both of you. You both are so warm and loving inspite of reaching multiple pinnacles . But much love to both of you ..
A pure and simple gem from Ranjani Gayathri, And the impeccably clean temple quadrangle- an aspect often overlooked in many an incredibly beautiful temple!!. Thank you ALL 🙏
Soulful rendition 🙏. It feels to me that any music instrument played would have taken out the soulfulness and melody of song. Very well done. wish you add that picture of Kaveri Sri Ranga! 😊

Awesome rendition. I remember you had concluded your concert in Chowdiah Hall, Bangalore in the month of April 2022 with this song and my little daughter Kaaveri loved this song the most, coz it had Kaveri in the sahityam. She had mentioned this to Ranjani ma'am at the end of the concert 😀
Divine is an understatement. I am from Srirangapatna and this video gave me goosebumps. Mellifluous and soothing. Wish I could meet you and see you angels singing. Thanks.
What a song. What a rendition.I got goosebumps.I find no words to express my ecstasy on your flowing devotional melody of rain showering on Lord Ranga.GOD bless you both with health to entertain us for many more years to come.
RAGA Carnaric music and Cauvery snanam have become one with me. Rain spoilt today's Cauvery snanam but drenced by RAGA rain on cauvery. The videographer did not feel the necessity to shoot the river Cauvery since it flowed out from your mouth.
Brilliantly sung. Pure diction , phenomenal raga exposition (my favorite Sindhubhairavi) and above all the locale and the outfit. Everything tied to pinpoint perfection Great job Ranjani
Mam , you both have taken us to the padam of Lord Ranganatha through this mellifluous journey of Sindhu Bhairavi raga. Simply blissful and divine. God be with you Raga Sisters
Superb rendition. Raga Rangadhbutham! It will be nice to do a travelogue on 108 divyadesams - mega project but will be immensely enjoyable. Musical pilgrimage.
4:00 even the birds were attracted and began singing in Sindhubhairavi with you both... magical voices indeed❤
Had heard in voice of Bhimsen Joshi which was always bringing me tears. I cried again with your singing too
