    Must admit, this video got me interested in knives, of which I now have a collection. My knives got me into guns which I now have a few and I compete in 3 gun. The knives and guns got me into archery and I just finished my 3rd hunting season. Just wanted to say thank you for setting me up for the rest of my adult life.

    It's been a while since I recorded this video. Shot with an iPhone 4s and uploaded directly to RUclips from the phone. Without going back and reviewing the video, I'm thinking I used the built-in mic of the iPhone because that's all I had at the time. Thanks for watching.

    Yes it is. Thanks for watching and "Be Prepared" (Boy Scout Motto)

    Whenever it was time to go to the Cub/Boy Scout camp trading post, everyone wanted to buy one of those red multi-knifes. We had to present our cards to show we'd been trained of course, but if you had a knife, you were awesome...
    Good times :)

      I remember when my dad bought me my first swiss army knife I was probably 8 loved that thing didn't do anything with it but widdle some sticks and stuff but I liked it a lot

    • @cloroxbleach3842
      @cloroxbleach3842 9 лет назад

      I have one somewhere (btw they're called Swiss knives, but someone probably told you) and they are very cool, but sometimes they require a lot of attention and keeping well care of, because if not it's hard to open some of the slots and sometimes even impossible without oil or something of that sort.

    • @westcoastwarriorsarchive7929
      @westcoastwarriorsarchive7929 7 лет назад

      I remember being in boyscouts and being really excited to get a pocket knife and thinking it was really cool. Now that I have more experience with knives I know they the steel they use is pretty poor. Or at least its really soft and I have a few friends whos knives rusted out on them. I have no idea where mine is now but I have plenty of other knives to make up for its loss.

    Can you make a video of you talking about your pocket knives, and or talking about the history of them while fiddling around with them and showing each of their features. (loved the vid btw!)

  • @RelaxingASMR
    @RelaxingASMR  12 лет назад

    You could do either. You have to change hands constantly if you are always pushing away. On such small knives where there isn't a great deal of pressure used, I prefer to push then pull so that I don't have to switch hands. Thanks for watching:)

    A few very good manufacturers happen to be Kershaw, Benchmade, Spyderco, SOG, and Boker. For a good deal I'd stick to Kershaw, though. If you prefer more gentleman-like blades I'd look towards Boker's non-outsourced cutlery or companies like Chambriard, EKA, and Perceval. Such offer cutlery elegant enough to be pulled out at a restaurant for your steak, and they'll likely cut it better than your provided steak knife anyway. Hope this helps you in your search :) Thanks again for the great videos!
