You should be so proud. Your sons are so well spoken and seem genuinely sensitive and kind. I have 3 boys, 40, 34, 33. It's so interesting to see their different personalities.
I enjoyed the interviews with your three oldest. To me they each had quite different personalities and it was great to learn their perspectives. One thing they had in common was love for their mom.
Watching this video, and the first, makes me want to do a video with my boys about minimalism. I should do one now while they are 14 and 12 and then another in 10 years to see how their views change. The big boys, 23 and 21, didn't live in minimalism the way the little boys have. I'm anxious to see how the littles live when they are adults. Thank you for sharing your family and lifestyle with us!
Wow you should be a proud mom! Your boys are so honest yet respectful. Your daughter in law looks so humble. Please continue being a good mother to these wonderful kids!
Thank you so much to you and your oldest 3 "boys" for this video! It was great insight on how kids view the transition to minimalism! So happy for you and your family connection! I'm glad you decided to put this 2nd part out there for us to enjoy and learn from! Blessings!
HalleluYah! This is so very true. I am thankful to be home. I just told my dear husband after he came home for lunch that I'm glad it's him going back to work and not me. I get to clean, listen to preaching, read Yahweh's Word, mow the lawn, play in the flower beds, bake, wash my car and vacuum it, find deals at many different grocery stores. If I was working outside the home all this would be a burden. It would be too much. My children are grown now so that's why I didn't include them but what a joy to have had them home and I raised them not the government during the day. Some women say they would go crazy if they had to stay home, well I didn't have to, I wanted to. I don't watch tv and I don't have social media, only yt to make comments and watch good folks like you while I do these tasks throughout the day. I'm 48 and I have enjoyed 21 years of being married and staying at this very peaceful, safe and beautiful home.
I so enjoyed this video and love seeing your boys’ personalities and thoughts on minimalism and their upbringing. I have 8 children (7 boys, 1 girl), and this video encourages me to see the sweet relationship you have with your grown sons and how the habits you instilled have affected them into adulthood (in a positive way!) ❤
This video was fun to watch. I loved it. Your boys are interesting and each seems comfortable in their own skin. I could listen to you and them for hours. Thank you. PS.. I loved the socks! ❤
That was such fun! I watched the first half when you published it last year, and loved it. Your Jesse reminds me of my oldest granddaughter, Lily, with all the artwork and collectibles surrounding her.
So enjoyed both videos. Your sons are wonderful young men. Like my five adult children each such individual but terrificin their own rite. I did laugh about the lunchables. There is a 10 year difference in my youngest to next oldest and heard things like that often.
This was delightful through and through. Our oldest just turned 14 -- it's super inspirational to see the fruit of your efforts in your relationships with your adult children. Thank you (to all six of you) for sharing with us.
Oh WOW Rachel & grown boys! My daughter is 6 and my son is 11. I can see clues in my son’s new room (we just moved) of how he could end up being on his own. Seeing and hearing all the details in this video is very helpful and gives me more motivation to keep striving for functional spaces. I love the idea of always asking if you actually USE the thing. Loving stuff and it being useful is great. Liking stuff and it being clutter is not so great… ✌🏼💪🏼🌷
I’m curious where the video games questions came from and were hinting at… I find that screens (& how we manage them as parents, for ourselves and our kids too) play a big role in pretty much everything… tricky stuff!
Yes, now they are all the way on the west coast! They're doing well, Cassie is in school and Luke got a job as a firefighter at an airport (that's what he was trained for in the Marines).
Rachel!!!! ❤️💕 I think I could cry!!! Happy tears, proud momma tears!! Only a mom with adult sons could say that. My heart is so happy for you and your family!!! THIS video was amazing for so many reasons! You have an amazing family and you have a gazillion reasons to be completely blessed by each one of your sons!! (I’m not a fan of saying the word ‘proud’ so that’s why I said blessed). Thank you so much for sharing this with us, PLEASE tell your sons how grateful I am for them to have agreed to be shown on your videos. You asked some hard questions, but they didn’t seem to mind answering them on the video… please tell them thank you!! I hope they watch this video, you did a great job of editing it to be uploaded. This video could almost be watched every Mother’s Day, it’s that good!! Thank you. ❤️💕
Oh DebbyJo, we all just do the best we know how in the moment and we have to let it be enough. We all have regrets, the boys were kind enough not to talk about all my failings.
I loved this video! It's interesting to see what each of your son's thoughts were. Once my boys were 11 and 14 we started doing a winter trip as their Christmas gift, they agreed to this. We have done it for the past 6 years. I wonder if they have any hard feelings about it. Listen to your grown son's do you regret any of your minimalist ideals you put in place? I regret that I didn't start sooner
Love the arts eclectic yet minimal apartment. You have some fun sons. Inlovw taht they all have different personalities. I feel like i can see some of my own kids in there. 😊
Thank you so much! Have had some family needs come up, so haven't recorded any videos, but plan to publish one tomorrow that I had recorded and never published last fall. Thank you so much for thinking of me! 🥰
Is that true?!? About most entrepreneurs are introverts?!?! That is really interesting..... And also ..... I have a lot of introvert frirnds that are entrepreneurs! 🤔 I am an extrovert. 😂 Crap. Actually its funny because eventually i will probably make videos but havent yet. I would love to or have a podcast but i feel like it is way too much to manage and i am pretty private about things to an extent but also over share. I really woukd love to help people, share infromation, or mak people laugh and spread some joy around. I get so much value out of youtubers like yourself abd it would be beautiful to be able to help a large amount of people or share my creativity with the world. What age were you when you started your channel? Just curious.
For online entrepreneurs, it's definitely true! LOL Having a computer between interactions feels less draining. I started the blog in 2012, but didn't really do anything with RUclips until 2019, so I was 42 when I started showing up on RUclips. 😊
Weird question, why does a boys bedroom smell ? ( A lady who's "tween" age son died, said that she even misses his "wet dog smell," 🙂 She said "For anyone who doesn't know, or have a boy, they smell... She loved everything about him and missed his wet dog smell. ( Isn't there a way to get rid of it ?)
Watch to the end, and you'll see a mini-tour of Stephen's studio apartment. 😊
I loved seeing his space… it was really nice.
How fun!
Minimalism lets you be lazy. I love Stephen's outlook on minimalism. I suspect his outlook in general is very unique. 😀
😂 For sure.
I loved this when you first released it. Nice to see the rest. If i recall they all rembered not getting lunchables 😂
What lovely young men your son's are, you've done a great job 😊
Your boys are so well-spoken and funny.
You have the REAL treasure, Rachel. A wonderful family who clearly love and respect each other. Thank you for sharing this. ❤
You should be so proud. Your sons are so well spoken and seem genuinely sensitive and kind. I have 3 boys, 40, 34, 33. It's so interesting to see their different personalities.
I am so proud. 😊
I agree
I agree lovely guys
I remember watching the first part, nice to see what you edited out. Your boys are each so different, wonder what the younger three would say.
As someone with the little children I love watching your videos with you and your adult children, I appreciate it! Its like a peek into the future.
Your children are all so likable. You must be a proud mom! I liked Steven's apartment tour. The whole video is just so charming and relaxing..
I enjoyed the interviews with your three oldest. To me they each had quite different personalities and it was great to learn their perspectives. One thing they had in common was love for their mom.
Your boys are so sweet! Thank you for the video it's nice to see them and how minimalism impacted them.
LOVE LOVE LOVE the sock collection

I absolutely love this video. It was so fun. You have a lovely family and you should be so proud of them and also I can see how much they love you!!
I really loved that interview excited about this. That was one of my favorites of yours.
Your first family photo cracked me up! Titus looks exactly like his father in this one!
I so enjoyed this video and love seeing your boys’ personalities and thoughts on minimalism and their upbringing. Wow -- your hair has grown so much in a year! This was fun to see “the rest” of the conversations. I remember watching the first release.
Great interview with your boys.
I must say that between your weight loss and your hair longer you look so much younger and so beautiful!
Thank you so much Hollie!
Stephen's yOur mini me, so nest and organized. Plus he's handsome too.
This video was fun to watch. I loved it. Your boys are interesting and each seems comfortable in their own skin. I could listen to you and them for hours. Thank you. PS.. I loved the socks! ❤

These interviews have been so endearing to watch. I guess Luke and his family have moved by now.
Yes, now they are all the way on the west coast! They're doing well, Cassie is in school and Luke got a job as a firefighter at an airport (that's what he was trained for in the Marines).

🥰 Thank you so much DebbyJo! They have grown into wonderful men. I'm so pleased to be their mom!
@@Nourishingminimalism yes, and obviously you were ((are)) an incredible Mom!!! I wish I had done as good of a job of raising my two sons.

Thanks to all of you for sharing! My kids are all grown now! I wonder how they would answer questions about our minimalist family journey!?

You raised a nice family. 🙂
👍
Nice men you have raised!

( I never out-grew liking soft things.)
Do you really still inspect the closets of your boys and bring them to declutter things? Their answers were quite interesting 🤔
Luke, maybe put a basket on the counter to toss your miscellaneous stuff into. 🙂🙂🙂🙂❤
