Minimalism lets you be lazy. I love Stephen's outlook on minimalism. I suspect his outlook in general is very unique. 😀

I enjoyed the interviews with your three oldest. To me they each had quite different personalities and it was great to learn their perspectives. One thing they had in common was love for their mom.

Watching this video, and the first, makes me want to do a video with my boys about minimalism. I should do one now while they are 14 and 12 and then another in 10 years to see how their views change. The big boys, 23 and 21, didn't live in minimalism the way the little boys have. I'm anxious to see how the littles live when they are adults. Thank you for sharing your family and lifestyle with us!

HalleluYah! This is so very true. I am thankful to be home. I just told my dear husband after he came home for lunch that I'm glad it's him going back to work and not me. I get to clean, listen to preaching, read Yahweh's Word, mow the lawn, play in the flower beds, bake, wash my car and vacuum it, find deals at many different grocery stores. If I was working outside the home all this would be a burden. It would be too much. My children are grown now so that's why I didn't include them but what a joy to have had them home and I raised them not the government during the day. Some women say they would go crazy if they had to stay home, well I didn't have to, I wanted to. I don't watch tv and I don't have social media, only yt to make comments and watch good folks like you while I do these tasks throughout the day. I'm 48 and I have enjoyed 21 years of being married and staying at this very peaceful, safe and beautiful home.

Oh WOW Rachel & grown boys! My daughter is 6 and my son is 11. I can see clues in my son’s new room (we just moved) of how he could end up being on his own. Seeing and hearing all the details in this video is very helpful and gives me more motivation to keep striving for functional spaces. I love the idea of always asking if you actually USE the thing. Loving stuff and it being useful is great. Liking stuff and it being clutter is not so great… ✌🏼💪🏼🌷

I’m curious where the video games questions came from and were hinting at… I find that screens (& how we manage them as parents, for ourselves and our kids too) play a big role in pretty much everything… tricky stuff!

Rachel!!!! ❤️💕 I think I could cry!!! Happy tears, proud momma tears!! Only a mom with adult sons could say that. My heart is so happy for you and your family!!! THIS video was amazing for so many reasons! You have an amazing family and you have a gazillion reasons to be completely blessed by each one of your sons!! (I’m not a fan of saying the word ‘proud’ so that’s why I said blessed).
Thank you so much for sharing this with us, PLEASE tell your sons how grateful I am for them to have agreed to be shown on your videos. You asked some hard questions, but they didn’t seem to mind answering them on the video… please tell them thank you!! I hope they watch this video, you did a great job of editing it to be uploaded. This video could almost be watched every Mother’s Day, it’s that good!! Thank you. ❤️💕

I loved this video! It's interesting to see what each of your son's thoughts were. Once my boys were 11 and 14 we started doing a winter trip as their Christmas gift, they agreed to this. We have done it for the past 6 years. I wonder if they have any hard feelings about it. Listen to your grown son's do you regret any of your minimalist ideals you put in place? I regret that I didn't start sooner

Is that true?!? About most entrepreneurs are introverts?!?! That is really interesting..... And also ..... I have a lot of introvert frirnds that are entrepreneurs! 🤔 I am an extrovert. 😂 Crap. Actually its funny because eventually i will probably make videos but havent yet. I would love to or have a podcast but i feel like it is way too much to manage and i am pretty private about things to an extent but also over share. I really woukd love to help people, share infromation, or mak people laugh and spread some joy around. I get so much value out of youtubers like yourself abd it would be beautiful to be able to help a large amount of people or share my creativity with the world. What age were you when you started your channel? Just curious.

Weird question, why does a boys bedroom smell ? ( A lady who's "tween" age son died, said that she even misses his "wet dog smell," 🙂 She said "For anyone who doesn't know, or have a boy, they smell... She loved everything about him and missed his wet dog smell. ( Isn't there a way to get rid of it ?)
