THIS SHIFT Can Help You Declutter Your Home More and Transform Your Life

  • There is a profound impact that mindset work can have on decluttering and organizing our homes and lives.
It's not just about making physical changes; it's about embracing a shift in our beliefs and understanding our own capabilities.
If you've ever felt overwhelmed by a cluttered home and dreamed of a minimalist lifestyle, it all begins with the way you think.
The key is to believe in what you are capable of achieving and what can happen when you remove self-imposed limitations.
So often, we hold ourselves back in various areas of life because we lack the belief that we can achieve certain goals.
Whether it's pursuing a particular occupation or embracing minimalism, our mindset plays a critical role. If we don't believe it's possible, we won't take the necessary steps to make it happen.
But here's the truth: if we genuinely believe in our ability to achieve something, we become proactive in making it a reality. We research, make plans, and find solutions instead of dwelling on perceived limitations.
This principle applies equally to decluttering - if we believe we can embrace minimalism, we will persevere and make time to achieve it.
Acknowledging the mental shift involved is crucial.
Let go of thoughts like "I don't have the time" or "I don't have the energy." Instead, start affirming to yourself that you have the time and energy to do what needs to be done.
Build a routine around decluttering, just like one of my RUclips followers, Jess, who turned it into a daily ritual and found joy in the process.
Remember, changing habits requires the belief that change is possible.
Don't overwhelm yourself by setting unrealistic expectations for a perfect morning routine, or any routine for that matter. Start with small, achievable tasks like putting things away, wiping off surfaces, and washing a load of dishes.
The crucial part is to start and make the barrier of entry as low as possible.
We often find ourselves trapped in a busy and chaotic lifestyle because we don't believe it's possible to have free time. But it's essential to challenge this belief and recognize that we have choices in how we spend our time.
Take a closer look at your calendar and identify activities that truly add value to your life. Remove yourself from obligations that don't align with your priorities, remembering that your presence alone should be meaningful.
Now, let's bring that belief in our capabilities to decluttering and organizing.
To simplify our homes, we need to consistently work on it and avoid the "burnout and neglect" cycle.
It's about taking small actions every day, making decisions, and removing unnecessary items from our lives.
Believe in your ability to declutter and trust that each tiny step contributes to the transformation of your home. In summary, the power of belief is the driving force behind transforming our homes and lives.
When we truly believe in our capabilities and the possibility of change, we take decisive actions, embrace minimalism, free up our time, and create an organized and simplified living environment.
It all starts with believing in ourselves.
Unlock the power of belief and embark on this transformative journey towards a decluttered and organized life.
Remember, you are capable, and it starts with the courage to take the first step. Let's do this!

    Morning & evening resets work!
    Counseling, many years ago, the therapist said;
If you're depressed, force yourself to make your bed, in the morning. If you don't get anything else done the entire day, you've at least accomplished one thing so you won't feel like a failure. Once that becomes a habit, add one more thing for the next habit, building one habit at a time.

My renewed fav interiors is now minimal. At 65 l have had enough. Home is easy on my eye. Stylish still...but only what l use and is surportive. Hard to clean...l gave away. I don't enjoy house cleaning. So l support myself by maintaining rather than big cleans. One room per month...big clean. I love it.

Over last few years I've decluttered my home, my clothes just basically everything. Have amazing routines that are so easy and if something comes up and I miss a day of my routines it's takes no time at all to catch up or can just get left because I'm so simple with my lifestyle now. I guess what I'm saying is I've found contentment and I love it 😊

We listen to ourselves! If I say “I am crazy busy” then by gosh I am. If I say “I have the time” then I do. Around here we also call that programming ourselves.
Also, we only hear the verb. Avoid the word “not”. Best example I use to explain is: when you say “don’t run” to a child, what do they do? Run!

A lot of people give up because they don't see the end results. You'll never do it unless you make a move. Improve it to yourself. And keep away from naysayers. There's always gonna be somebody that knows better than you, And profess that they know what's best for you. But in reality, it's only you that knows what's best for you. Especially when you start finding yourself.

Listening to this , it reminded me of seeing sahm's rushing to get their children to school, while wearing pajamas, robes sippers, hair a mess etc. I was up at least an hour before my children so I could shower, dress, put my make up on and have a quiet cup of coffee before my children got up. The night before, their lunches were made and in the fridge, back packs were packed , their clothes had been set out. By the way, I am not a morning person and never have been. My point is, living life for yourself and your family comes down to maturity. Ask yourself questions such as "Why do we have too much stuff that clutters up our home? Is all of this stuff showing honor to our children, significant other/spouse and ourselves? " Why is it I can find plenty of time to be on my phone but not do the needed tasks to keep our home clean, tidy and safe. Getting rid of at least 60% of the"stuff" and only bringing in needs will make all the difference. Watch some episodes of the show Hoarders on You Tube to see how bad it can get and the mental effects having too many things can cause. Anyone can have a clean and neat home, you just have to do it.

Over the years, I have decluttered my bathrooms, kitchen, my side of my bedroom, living room, and school stuff. I am very happy with my progress. My frustration comes from the rest of my house and the outside. My husband and 4 kids (22-13) believe that an object's home is wherever they have set it.
