Want to add a point whether it is built in-house (Flexible) or through a Vendor (Standard Application), A Big Massive issue through a transformation, is the "Clarification Management" between the Implementors and Actual Users. A standard robust methodology is missing in this space and I am working on it extensively.
It is like «technology» has to be a big and slow tool to support these processes. Many cases now see business processes instantly change and the «tech» isn’t agile enough. I have seen some of our customers use PowerPlatform to over night create solutions for supporting a changing landscape and not tie all processes to Spreadsheets. It can build on top of any ERP solutions and can work directly on top of existing solutions and drive processes on top of existing systems. Amazing results... Customers on Dynamics had this in their backbone and are better suited to do these instant transformations... if they know how to utilize this amazing opportunity.
